Bryce James Signs With Klutch Sports

Bryce James is LeBron James’ youngest son and as it stands, he is playing basketball for Sierra Canyon. What is cool about Bryce is that he gets to play with his younger brother, Bronny. Together, Bryce and Bronny have made huge waves on the court. Additionally, they are both getting college offers.

At this point, Bryce is just 15 years old, however, he is already almost as tall as his dad. Not to mention, there are people out there who believe Bryce has the potential to be an NBA star. No matter how you swing it, the future is very bright for Bryce, and there are a ton of reasons to be excited about him.

Bryce James Signs New Deal

Interestingly enough, James is already signing Name, Image, and Likeness deals. Bronny has signed quite a few already. For instance, the oldest James brother was able to get himself a deal with Beats by Dre, and even Nike. Now, however, Bryce is getting his name out there with a Klutch Sports deal.

For those who may not know, Klutch Sports is the agency run by Rich Paul. Paul is LeBron’s agent, who is one of the most powerful people in all of basketball. This kind of deal was inevitable, however, it is certainly deserved. Bryce is someone who is getting a lot of looks right now, and he needs all the representation he can get.

Perhaps this is a bit too much pressure to put on a teenager. Although, it does appear like Bryce is ready to handle the task at hand. He has shown a ton of maturity thus far, and fans can’t wait to see what else is next for him.

LeBron James Reacts To Brittney Griner’s Release

LeBron James is one of the most vocal players in the NBA when it comes to social issues. He has always made sure to be politically conscious. Subsequently, this has led to numerous statements on Brittney Griner. During her incarceration, LeBron was one of the loudest voices demanding that we bring her home.

On Thursday, Griner was officially released via prisoner swap. Last night, Griner was able to land in the United States, and she appeared to be in good spirits. Overall, it is a positive story for the basketball world as Griner will now get to be with her family again.

LeBron James Speaks

Last night, LeBron got to speak on the Griner release during a special Thursday Night Football edition of The Shop. As you can imagine, LeBron James was very excited about Griner’s release. Moreover, he noted that the U.S. needs to work on bringing even more people home.

“I think it’s a great day for us as Americans having BG back,”  LeBron explained. “In the sports world, just having her presence back. Her wife misses her. Her family misses her. Club misses her here in Phoenix. To have her a part of the basketball brother and sisterhood once again, it’s a big day for us and what we do. Kudos to the President. Kudos (to) Kamala Harris and everyone who had something to do with it.

“Like Mav said, there’s a lot of people that’s wrongfully detained right now. We hope we can get them all back.”

At this point, many are trying to get Paul Whelan home as well. The former marine is currently being held on espionage chargers, and the Russian government won’t let him go. Needless to say, many are up in arms over this situation.

LeBron James Delivers Massive Praise To Donovan Mitchell

LeBron James has been in the league for 20 seasons, which means he has seen a whole lot of guys play the game. At this stage in his career, he knows the makings of a superstar. Subsequently, he likes to call out who he thinks is up next, especially when they beat him.

Last night, LeBron was in Cleveland where he got to play the Cleveland Cavaliers. This was a special return for LeBron as the Cavaliers are where he started his career. However, things did not go great for James as he ended up losing by a score of 116-102.

LeBron Impressed By Mitchell

The star of the Cavaliers last night was clearly Donovan Mitchell. The newly-acquired star dropped a total of 43 points, which ultimately spoiled the homecoming. It was a tough match for the Lakers, and consequently, James took notice of the young star.

When asked about Mitchell after the game, LeBron had nothing but praise for the young star. Overall, James definitely kept his answer short, but he made sure to pay respect. “He’s Mitchell,” James said. “He’s a special kid.”

LeBron James and the Lakers are now 10-13 this season with the loss. The Lakers do seem to be on a solid trajectory right now, however, it is not going to be easy. Anthony Davis and James will not play tonight as the Lakers take on the Toronto Raptors. Overall, it is a bad predicament, although it is one the Lakers have experienced all too often this season.

LeBron James Shows Love To Cleveland

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers were in Cleveland last night where the team took on the Cavaliers. The Cavs are a team on the come-up right now, especially thanks to the efforts of Donovan Mitchell. With Mitchell on the roster, many think this team could win the East.

However, James and the Lakers were trying to spoil the party last night. Of course, James has a lot of history with the Cavaliers as he had two separate stints with the team. Whenever he shows up in Cleveland, it is a huge moment, and last night was no different.

Despite this, LeBron was still someone that the media wanted to hear from after the game. He dropped 21 points and 17 rebounds, so it’s not like he played poorly. As you can see below, he showed a lot of love to Cleveland and even touched on the memories the city gives him.

LeBron James Reiterates Tom Brady’s GOAT Status

LeBron James has always been a huge fan of Tom Brady. These two men have excelled at their respective sports at the exact same time. While Brady might be eight years older than LeBron, there is no doubt they are comparable. Despite their ages, they are still at the top, which is truly impressive.

Additionally, they are multiple-time champions. Brady has won seven Super Bowls, while LeBron has four NBA titles. With 11 championships combined, it is no surprise that fans believe each one of them is the GOAT of their respective sports. However, there is a considerable amount of debate when it comes to LeBron’s side of the equation.

LeBron James Dubs Brady “The GOAT”

This season has been tough for Tom Brady as he has struggled at times. Last night, his Tampa Bay Buccaneers took on the New Orleans Saints in what proved to be a difficult match. For instance, the team got off to a horrible start. Consequently, the Bucs found themselves down by a score of 16-3 at one point.

However, with about three minutes to go, Brady led his team down the field twice. He scored two touchdowns in the final moments, and it gave his team a stunning 17-16 win. It was a shocking victory that displayed how Brady still has that dog in him.

Subsequently, LeBron took to Twitter where he gave his reaction to the massive comeback. As you can see, LeBron simply wrote “TB12” along with a gif of an actual GOAT. Clearly, LeBron believes Brady is the greatest to ever do it.

With the win, Brady and the Bucs are 6-6 and are destined for the playoffs, purely because their division is awful. Either way, once Brady gets to the playoffs, there is a chance for him to go all the way.

LeBron James Roasted After Co-Signing Tory Lanez Album

Tory Lanez came through with a 20-track new album for his fans on Friday, called Sorry 4 What. The album has been getting praise from his supporters on social media, although there are plenty of people swearing off the album due to his ongoing shooting case against Megan Thee Stallion.

One person who is looking past that and enjoying the music is none other than LeBron James. LeBron has always been an avid rap listener, and on Friday, he replied to CuffsTheLegend on Twitter with some praise for the album. As you can see, he wrote “He never misses. That boy talented as hell man! Bangers for days!!”

Twitter was not happy with LeBron’s response, as they felt like it was a betrayal of some of the things he has said in the past regarding the need to protect black women. While Tory’s case against Meg has yet to be settled or resolved, there are a lot of people who see Tory as guilty, which has many calling LeBron a hypocrite.

In the tweets down below, you can see that Bron has been the subject of relentless criticism that doesn’t seem to be dying down. “What a thing to wake up and see. What a betrayal to all the Black Women who have had Lebron’s back. Wow. I’m actually speechless,” one person wrote. “This tweet is a DECISION OF SUPPORT for a man who shot Megan multiple times. The lack of value we are shown as Black Women has no depths.”

Other fans have stood up for LeBron, claiming that Twitter is not real life and that outside of the app, no one actually cares about him listening to Tory Lanez. Either way, people are upset right now, and Twitter is giving everyone a platform to voice that displeasure.

Give us your thoughts on the Tory album, in the comments below.

LeBron James Comes Under Fire For Saying Tory Lanez ‘Never Misses’ On Twitter

Let’s face it: the average NBA fan would probably love to be able to dunk — especially on an all-time great like LeBron James. They’ll probably never be able to, though, so they’ll just have to settle for dunking on him on Twitter. That’s exactly what they’ve been doing for the past hour or so after the athletically gifted forward put his proverbial shoe in his mouth on the app. Long hailed as one of the NBA’s best rap critics — seriously, having one of your songs soundtracking an LBJ workout video is probably better than a million spent on promotion these days — ‘Bron’s latest music opinion about Tory Lanez has got him ducking flak instead.

Responding to an NBA podcaster’s assertion that “love him or hate him.. The Lanez Of Tory consistently makes damn good music,” LeBron agreed, “FACTS!!!! He never misses. That boy talented as hell man! Bangers for days!!”

lebron james tory lanez tweet
Twitter

Oh. Oh no.

Look: We all know what he meant. But that there is just a very poor choice of words (RIP Heath!).

Tory Lanez, who until recently was best known as being a sort of budget Drake — his Chixtape mixtape series was a fan favorite, though — has become more infamous for allegedly shooting fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion in the back of her feet after an argument following a Hollywood party. He’s facing trial for assault in the coming months — provided he doesn’t request to have it pushed back yet again — and has been basically persona non grata to a large swath of hip-hop fans (naturally, he has his supporters, because mistreating women is just America’s default setting).

Bron, of course, was probably referring to Tory’s music but I shouldn’t have to explain why the diction there is just all kinds of awkward — and I don’t, because seemingly everyone on Twitter is already doing so. Here are just a few examples:

As a wise person once said: “Each day on Twitter there is one main character. The goal is to never be it.” LeBron appears to have fallen short today — but as they say, great shooters have short memories. Maybe he’ll have better luck tomorrow.

LeBron James Has These Plans For Anthony Davis

Anthony Davis and LeBron James are a solid dynamic duo that can dominate the league when healthy. Of course, LeBron is much older than Davis, which means that the future of the Lakers franchise is really in AD’s hands. In a couple of years from now, AD could choose to leave, but in the interim, LeBron sees AD as the one who will take over once he retires.

This is something that was relayed by reporter Chris Haynes, who said LeBron is “in his ear about taking over the reins of the team.”

Ronald Martinez/Getty Images

As for Davis’ thoughts on all of this, he is simply taking things day by day. He just wants to do what he can and then ride it out from there.

“All I can do is lead by my actions,” Davis said. “I’m excited for this challenge and what’s ahead. I think we have a great group of guys to get the job done. It’s now about putting in the work.

Steph Chambers/Getty Images

The Lakers are a team that underperformed last year, and they will be looking to prove themselves in 2022-23. It won’t be easy, but if these two stay healthy, they have a realistic shot at making a playoff run.
