Lazer Dim 700 Is “Keepin It Cloudy” On His Newest Album

You all know about the current leaders of the Georgia rap scene. Young Thug, Future, Quavo, Offset, Playboi Carti, and etc. But there are some newcomers looking to make a name for themselves as we speak. Some of them are making serious strides to becoming the next stars of the Southern hip-hop region, with LAZER DIM 700 being one. Hailing from the city of Cordele, he’s been rapping professionally for about three years. Over the last year or so, he’s really been coming on, and 2024 has seemingly been his banner year so far. He’s mostly been making some noise thanks to his features.

As it stands, his appearance on Denzel Curry’s “STILL IN THE PAINT” single is probably his most notable. But he’s also got work with BabyTron, Trippie Redd, and VonOff1700, rounding things out nicely. If you have not heard any of his material yet, then we highly suggest you spin some music he just released today. It’s a brand-new studio album called KEEPIN IT CLOUDY and it’s got 18 cuts and no features. That’s been a trend so far for him, as none of his projects contain any guests. He wants to get big on his own, which is a highly commendable thing to chase. He’s certainly on his way to becoming a face of Georgia hip-hop thanks to a pretty unique sound that melds the sounds of Carti and the underground all in one. Check out the new project below with the DSP links.

BabyTron Enters The “Lion’s Den” With LAZER DIM 700 On New “Tronicles” Record: Stream

BabyTron’s new album Tronicles is filled to the brim with Detroit bangers, even if its 28-track length might sour this sound as it goes on. However, he still finds plenty of opportunities to diversify the sound and provide some compelling contrasts to his usual style. If you want an example of this, look no further than the record “Lion’s Den” featuring LAZER DIM 700, one of the hottest new-gen MCs working today.

The “Load Out” spitter’s drowsy drawl and flat delivery might sound a bit lacking in energy at first, but it’s an icy and fitting match with the tense, string-embellished, and sharp instrumental. As for BabyTron, the Death Of Slim Shady collaborator fills his verse with the deadpan deliveries, clever wordplay, aloof charisma, and detached confidence that his work before, in, and surely after Tronicles champions. It’s a simple cut, a wholly unsurprising one, but a jam nonetheless.

Also, this is a big collab for LAZER DIM 700, who seems to only go up following his link-up with Denzel Curry and Bktherula on “STILL IN THE PAINT.” If you haven’t heard this new song “Lion’s Den” yet or the album it comes from, find it on your preferred streaming service or check out the official visualizer on YouTube below. Down there, you can also find some standout bars from the cut, as well as the comments section for you to leave your thoughts on it or all of BabyTron’s Tronicles, for that matter. As always, come back to HNHH for more of the best new hip-hop releases around the clock.

Benji Blue Bills & Lazer Dim 700 Are Ready To Get Active On Load Out”

Five-year underground rapper from Georgia, Benji Blue Bills, is back with one of the fast risers in his hometown in LAZER DIM 700 for a new record. It’s actually their first track together and it’s called “Load Out.” It arrives after an Instagram post from the former documenting their link-up. “I fw luh Lazer 👾” Blue Bills wrote about a week and a half ago. Then, yesterday, he shared a teaser of the music video for “Load Out,” which is out now on YouTube.

This track also follows Benji’s third solo project 500k Degrees, which dropped back in late August. As for LAZER DIM 700, he’s been having a nice few weeks himself. In particular, his feature game is thriving. He was on VonOff1700’s “Dead N****s” with Polo G and most recently teamed up with Denzel Curry and Bktherula on “STILL IN THE PAINT.” Overall, “Load Out” is pretty standard fare from both Benji and and LAZER. It’s violent and almost cynical, as well as grungy and dark. Their chemistry is there though, so for fans of each of these MC’s we want to know what y’all think. Check out the single first and then leave your thoughts below in the comments.
