Diddy is facing several new lawsuits as of Wednesday morning, with one accusing him of allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting a man identified as “John Doe” in New York in 2001. The claim, filed by attorney Tony Buzbee, alleges that the man, who once worked as a stuntman on RoboCop, met with the Bad Boy mogul at a hotel near Central Park for what was believed to be a music video audition. After consuming a Diet Coke, John Doe alleges he blacked out. He allegedly woke up to Diddy sodomizing him with one of his bodyguards and another man in the room.
John Doe says he fled the hotel in shock but left behind his beloved RoboCop stuntman jacket. He never saw it again. “Once back at home, Plaintiff tried to put the event out of his mind, but was reminded of it when he painfully defecated a used condom and realized he was bleeding rectally. When the bleeding did not stop for a couple of days, Plaintiff visited a local clinic and then a proctologist, who repaired Plaintiff’s a*** with a laser procedure,” the complaint reads, as caught by AllHipHop.
As for damages, John Doe alleges he sought medical treatment for rectal bleeding and a broken tooth. He also says he dealt with alleged emotional trauma. Diddy’s already repeatedly denied all of the allegations he’s faced over the last year. In a statement previously provided to CNN, his team slammed Tony Buzbee’s “barrage of lawsuits” as “shameless publicity stunts designed to extract payments from celebrities who fear having lies spread about them, just as lies have been spread about Mr. Combs.”
Diddy currently resides at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Authorities arrested him on charges of alleged sex trafficking and racketeering back in September. He’s already pleaded not guilty. His trial will kick off on May 5 of next year.
Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal issues aren’t slowing down by any means. Currently locked up as he awaits federal trial on trafficking charges, the disgraced music mogul continues to see the lawsuits pile up on decades-old allegations surrounding sexual assault. This week, two new lawsuits emerged that alleged Diddy assaulted two minors including one who was 10 years old at the time of the assault. Below is a breakdown of the latest lawsuits against Diddy.
Spearheaded by attorney Tony Buzbee, a lawyer who said that he planned to file 120 lawsuits against Diddy amid RICO charges, a John Doe filed a complaint against the music mogul claiming that he had been sexually assaulted in 2005 in an attempt to gain some sort of footing in the music industry. Per Variety, the lawsuit claims that Doe’s parents hired a music consultant to aid his aspirations to become a musician. The consultant allegedly helped link Doe and Diddy during a trip to New York City where Diddy held an “audition” for the then 10-year-old.
The lawsuit, which has been filed to the Supreme Court of the State of New York, claims that Diddy asked to meet the boy alone before his family joined them. Doe claims the consultant left him with Diddy at a hotel where he performed a couple of songs for the mogul. However, Diddy allegedly told the boy that he would “make him a star” before asking him how badly he wanted to make it. As stated in the complaint, the boy responded that he would “do anything.”
Alleged Spiked Sodas
The complaint then details the moments before the alleged assault. Doe said that someone gave him a soda before he began feeling “a little funny.” The accuser’s attorney said something was slipped into the drunk “including but not limited to GHB and/or ecstasy.” Diddy allegedly told the boy “you have to do some stuff you don’t want to do sometimes” after he consumed the drink. The lawsuit claims that Diddy forced Doe to perform oral sex on him, despite resisting, and the complainant fell unconscious. The boy allegedly woke up to Diddy whose “pants were undone, and his anus and buttocks hurt badly.” When the boy complained, Diddy reportedly threatened to harm his parents.
In another lawsuit filed by Buzbee, John Doe claims that Diddy sexually assaulted him during a 3-day audition for the mogul’s MTV show, Making The Band. Doe said the incident happened in 2008 when he was 17 years old, and when he had his one-on-one meeting with Diddy, “Combs asked Plaintiff hypothetical questions about handling situations involving sexual pressure,” per court documents obtained by CNN. “As Combs described these scenarios, he began to sexually assault Plaintiff by touching Plaintiff both over and under his clothing, including groping and fondling his penis and instructing Plaintiff to undress.”
A common theme in the allegations paints Diddy as a fear-mongering executive who leveraged his status and power over his victims. Doe said that Diddy stressed that he could “make or break” his career. According to the suit, the abuse continued over the three days with the Bad Boy founder allegedly demanding the 17-year-old “to demonstrate the ability to embody a ‘sex idol’ persona” before sexually assaulting him again. On the third day, Doe said he was eliminated after Diddy and his bodyguard allegedly assaulted him.” The lawsuit states the elimination occurred “as Combs claimed that Plaintiff was untrustworthy due to his reservations about performing oral sex on his bodyguard.”
Diddy’s Responds
As the allegations began to make headlines, Diddy’s attorney issued a statement to CNN that didn’t directly address the latest lawsuits but denied the claims of trafficking and abuse. “As we’ve said before, Mr. Combs cannot respond to every new publicity stunt, even in response to claims that are facially ridiculous or demonstrably false,” Combs’ attorneys said in a statement, in part. “Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor.”
The Houston-based attorney has been at the forefront of the dozen-plus lawsuits filed against Diddy. In addition to the two John Does accusing Diddy of assaulting them as minors, 10 others, both men and women (some teens at the time), who accused Diddy of sexual misconduct. Per People, he also opened a hotline for alleged victims, claiming that he received 12,000 calls in one day after his press conference.
Diddy’s Indictment
The latest lawsuit adds to the nearly two dozen filed against Diddy since last November. Following Cassie’s bombshell lawsuit, Diddy faced allegations surrounding heinous acts behind the scenes. Last month, federal agents arrested him on claims that he controlled a “criminal enterprise” that actively engaged in sex trafficking, forced labor, and physical abuse. After appearing in court, he pleaded not guilty to charges of trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. The court has set a tentative date for his court hearing for May 2025. We’ll keep you posted on any further updates.
As the allegations emerged in the past year, the mogul’s kids, often by his side, finally broke their silence. In a statement issued to Instagram, they flatly called out the “conspiracy theories” and “false narratives” while showing support for their dad. “The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media. We stand united, supporting you every step of the way,” the statement read. They continued, “We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD,” the statement read.
Kanye West and Adidas have officially agreed on an out-of-court settlement after years of legal conflict between the two sides. The brand originally cut ties with the controversial rapper after he made several antisemitic comments in 2022. They’ve been caught up in multiple lawsuits with one another in the time since. Ye has slammed the company on numerous occasions on social media.
CEO Bjorn Gulden confirmed the decision during a conference call on Tuesday. “There isn’t any more open issues, and there is no… money going either way, and we both move on,” Gulden told reporters, according to CNBC. “There were tensions on many issues, and… when you put the claims on the right side and you put the claims on the left side, both parties said we don’t need to fight anymore and withdrew all the claims.” Details of the agreement were kept private, but Gulden noted they didn’t exchange any payments.
West’s antics in 2022, which also included wearing a “White Lives Matter” T-shirt, resulted in him losing out on far more brand deals than just Adidas. Gap, Balenciaga, and more fashion houses all cut ties with him, while several social media sites kicked him off their platforms. “Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech,” the company explained in a statement at the time. “Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.”
More recently, West has been performing overseas for his Vultures listening events with Ty Dolla Sign. He’s also gearing up for the release of a new solo album, Bully. Be on the lookout for further updates on Kanye West and Adidas on HotNewHipHop.
Diddy is facing a new lawsuit from a woman who alleges that the Bad Boy mogul raped her at a hotel in Manhattan when she was just 19 years old. The woman, who only identifies as Jane Doe in the filing, alleges she met Diddy at a photoshoot for Da Band in 2004 where he invited her and a friend to an afterparty. Before the party, he asked they stop by his hotel room where the alleged incident then took place.
“You know what you are here for,” Diddy allegedly remarked once they were alone. The lawsuit adds: “Combs continued getting gradually more aggressive with the two women and eventually began forcibly touching them without consent. When they resisted, Combs ordered Ms. Doe’s friend to perform oral sex on him or else he would have them both killed. Once she was undressed, Combs forced himself on her and began to sexually assault her. Combs fondled, molested, and ultimately raped Ms. Doe, all while she was begging him to stop.”
The latest alleged victim has hired Tony Buzbee, the attorney who went viral earlier this month for claiming to have 120 more alleged victims. “When we talk about the ages of the victims when the conduct occurred, it’s shocking,” Buzbee said at the press conference. “Our youngest victim at the time of the occurrence was nine years old. We have an individual who was 14 years old. We have one who was 15.” According to Rolling Stone, Buzbee said Monday that he’ll be coming forward with several more lawsuits against Diddy in the coming weeks.
The latest accusation comes as Diddy remains behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn while awaiting trial in his case regarding charges of alleged sex trafficking and racketeering. He’s already pleaded not guilty to those charges. As for Buzbee’s cases, one of Diddy’s lawyers, Erica Wolff, already denied all of the allegations in a statement to Rolling Stone. Be on the lookout for further updates on Diddy on HotNewHipHop.
Attorney Tony Buzbee announced in a press conference on Tuesday that he’ll be representing over 120 individuals ready to take legal action against Diddy with claims of rape, sexual assault, and more. The group of accusers encompasses both men and women, 25 of whom were minors at the time of the alleged incidents. Buzbee will not handle the case as a class-action suit and instead file all the claims individually.
“Our team has had, at this point, 3,285 individuals with people claiming to be victimized by Sean Combs,” Tony Buzbee said as noted by XXL. “The youngest victim at the time of the occurrence was 9 years old.”
Diddy’s Attorney Speaks Outside Of His Bail Hearing
Buzbee also hinted at other high-profile names that will be mentioned in future updates. “The day will come when we name names other than Sean Combs,” he said. “The names we are gonna name are names that are gonna shock you.” It’s not the first time an attorney for one of Diddy’s accusers has referenced other celebrities being involved. Attorney Ariel Mitchell-Kidd recently claimed on News Nation that she has a tape featuring another “high-profile” star with Diddy.
Tony Buzbee Speaks On Diddy Lawsuits
The lawsuits come after authorities arrested Diddy in New York, earlier this month, on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. He’s pleaded not guilty to the crimes and plans to argue his case in court. Check out Tony Buzbee’s full press conference regarding Diddy below. Tony Buzbee, an attorney based out of Houston, says he has “well over” 100 alleged victims including both men and women who are ready to file lawsuits against Diddy. They accuse him of rape, sexual assault, and more. According to FOX 26 Houston, Buzbee plans to discuss the cases at a press conference at 1:00 PM, CST on Tuesday.
“This is an important matter that we intend to aggressively pursue,” he said in a statement to the outlet. “We will leave no stone unturned to find all potentially liable parties, to include any individual or entity who participated in or benefitted from this egregious behavior. As we do this important work, we ask that the public understand it is very difficult and takes an incredible amount of courage for victims to come forward. I ask that we treat these brave individuals with the dignity and compassion that they deserve as they go through this trying time.” He also asked anyone else with allegations against Diddy to reach out to the Sexual Assault Hotline number at 1-800-200-7474. Fox 5 News New York reports that the new allegations could possibly lead to new charges as well.
Buzbee’s announcement comes after authorities in New York arrested the Bad Boy mogul, earlier this month, on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. Diddy’s already pleaded not guilty and plans to fight his case in court. “I don’t see it happening… because he believes he’s innocent,” his attorney, Marc Agnifilo, told TMZ regarding the idea of taking a plea deal. “He believes he’s innocent and what’s more, he believes that he needs to stand up not just for himself, for his family and for everybody who has been targeted by the federal government.”
Russell Simmons has been going through his fair share of legal woes as of late, but according to him, that has nothing to do with his decision to reside in Bali. Currently, the Def Jam co-founder is being sued for alleged assault by a former employee. The anonymous woman, going by Jane Doe, additionally accuses him of forging her signature on a document.
Earlier this week, AllHipHop reported that Simmons had no plans to leave Bali amid his legal battle, as he’s lived there since 2018. “I am not physically present in New York and I do not have an intention to live in New York in the future,” he told the outlet, “I own no property in the United States. I have been living in Bali since 2018, which is where I intend to remain. For at least nine years before I moved to Bali, I lived in California. As a California resident, I paid California resident taxes in the years immediately prior to moving to Bali. Currently, I pay California non-resident state taxes.”
Unfortunately, it looks like his comments backfired, leading some to believe that he was hiding out in Bali because he was afraid to come back to the U.S. According to him, however, that couldn’t be further from the truth. He clarified with AllHipHop again recently, stating that his decision not to come home doesn’t mean he can’t.
“People saying that I somehow can’t come home when I’m there all the time wears on you,” he explained. “It wears on me after a while to keep hearing the same narrative, which is false. I’m always in L.A., I’m always in New York and Miami. And I’ve never had any reason to feel unsafe in America.” What do you think of Russell Simmons claiming that he’s free to roam the U.S. amid his legal battle? King Combs has shared a diss track aimed at 50 Cent in which he addresses the backlash his father, Diddy, is facing amid several ongoing alleged sexual misconduct lawsuits. Combs also speaks on the Homeland Security raids conducted on Diddy’s Los Angeles and Miami properties. Akademiks played the song during his live stream on Sunday night.
“I dare one of you n****s scream out ‘no diddy’” Combs raps on the song, referencing the viral meme relating to his father’s allegations. Later, he adds: “Police raid the crib like they think we selling crack, but we out here selling tracks / multimillion dollar plaques.” From there, he brings up 50 Cent, who has since responded to the track on Instagram.
As for that response, 50 captioned a photo of Combs and Diddy. He wrote: “I feel so threatened by the things Christian is saying on his record. I’m afraid for my life, please don’t hurt me guys. I never mentioned or posted anything about puffy’s kids because KEEFE D said he killed 2Pac. [shrugging emoji]. LOL.” Check out the diss as well as 50’s response below.
Federal agents raided Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami back in March as part of an ongoing investigation. He has yet to be charged with any crimes and maintains his innocence. Additionally, several alleged victims have come forward with lawsuits detailing accusations of abuse regarding Diddy in recent months; however, he’s also denied all of those claims. Regardless, 50 Cent has spent the last several months incessantly trolling Diddy over the situation. Be on the lookout for further updates on King Combs and 50 Cent on HotNewHipHop.
In November of 2021, tragedy struck Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival, when a deadly crowd crush claimed the lives of 10 attendees. The incident resulted in 10 wrongful death lawsuits being filed by the victims’ families against Scott, Live Nation, and more. Now, according to the Associate Press, nine of the suits have been settled outside of court.
One lawsuit filed by the family of Madison Dubiski, who was 23 when she was killed as a result of the crowd crush, was originally expected to go to trial. Jury selection was scheduled to begin later this month. During a court hearing today (May 8), Live Nation’s attorney Neal Manne said that the case has been settled. An attorney for Dubiski’s family, Noah Wexler, also confirmed that the case “is resolved in its entirety” during the hearing. Terms of the settlement have not been revealed. The attorneys declined to comment outside of court due to a gag order.
The lawsuit that remains was filed by the family of the youngest person killed in the crowd crush, nine-year-old Ezra Blount. The family’s attorney says the case is ready to go to trial. The attorneys for the defendants being sued, however, say they’re not ready. News of the settlements comes after Scott’s motion to be dismissed from the lawsuit was denied last month.
“No one disputes that tragedy struck the Astroworld Festival,” the performer’s attorneys argued at the time. “But promoting and performing at a concert do not equate to the power to control a crowd or to design a venue safely. Basic tort principles prevent imposing liability on the Scott Defendants for a tragedy arising from forces legally controlled by others.” What do you think of Live Nation settling nine out of the 10 wrongful death lawsuits to come out of the Astroworld Festival tragedy? G Dep, a former Bad Boy Records artist, recently spoke about the allegations plaguing Diddy and argued he deserves the “benefit of the doubt.” Speaking with Fox 5 New York about the topic, he also pleaded with the industry veteran to help him out as he’s gotten hundreds of songs in the vault following his prison release.
“I’m like, when? When did that happen?” he asked the outlet. “We were in the studio for months on end. I don’t know where this is coming from.” From there, he called for Diddy’s help. “Got a lot of songs, bruh,” he said. “I’m looking for you so we can get, you know, some type of musical situation going.”
G Dep isn’t the first associate of Diddy’s to speak out in his defense. Stevie J recently denied all the claims against him during an interview with TMZ. “I’ve never seen my man doing anything foul like they talking about,” Stevie told the outlet. “I’ve never seen it, I’ve known him for 29 years.” The drama for Diddy began when Cassie sued him for sexual abuse and more back in November. Although they quickly settled, a number of other alleged victims came forward in the months since. Finally, Homeland Security agents raided his properties in Los Angeles and Miami as part of a sex trafficking investigation, last month. Check out G Dep’s full comments on the matter below.
G Dep Speaks On Diddy Relationship
Throughout the stretch of time, Diddy has denied all of the claims against him and isn’t facing any criminal charges. His lawyer, Aaron Dyers, labeled the raids on his properties a “gross overuse of military-level force” in a statement at the time. Be on the lookout for further updates on Diddy on HotNewHipHop.
