Stephen A. Smith Reveals He Has Personal Issues With Kyrie Irving

If you have ever seen Stephen A. Smith do his thing on First Take, you have probably seen him get into an argument about Kyrie Irving. Overall, Smith is very harsh on Kyrie and he can be unrelenting. Consequently, fans have admonished Smith for this. They don’t like it when he goes hard on Kyrie as they feel as though he doesn’t do the same thing against white athletes or figureheads. For instance, he barely had anything to say about the Jerry Jones controversy. Of course, this was the picture in which Jerry Jones was on the evil side of a segregation protest.

Recently, Jay Williams accused Stephen A. of being personal with Kyrie. Smith was very angry about this and made it known on First Take. Subsequently, Smith got to talk about this interaction during an episode of The Mike Missanelli Podcast. As you will hear below, he was, indeed, angry with Jay Williams. However, Smith also admitted that at the end of the day, things are personal between him and Kyrie. Although, we still do not know the exact reason why this is the case.

Stephen A. Vs. Kyrie

“Now Kyrie and I have our differences on a personal level, which is none of anybody’s business and I’ll never tell why,” Smith said. “He knows why. And his daddy knows why. They know how I feel about how they’ve acted towards me and they know how I feel about them and I know how they feel about me. But I can say that to anybody out there because I know that that does not interfere with my reporting on him and my perspective based off of the facts.”

Overall, this is an admission that is going to raise quite a few eyebrows. Ultimately, people want to know what Kyrie may have done to Stephen A. There are plenty of theories out there, although there is no telling what the truth is. For now, it seems clear that Smith is keeping this all to himself. However, if Kyrie says anything else about Stephen A., then we could see this entire saga unravel. Let us know what you think of all this, in the comments below.

Kyrie Irving Reacts To Ja Morant Situation

Kyrie Irving is the newest player for the Dallas Mavericks. Of course, he had been playing for the Brooklyn Nets since 2019, although it didn’t go so well. Consequently, he demanded a trade and wound up next to Luka Doncic in Dallas. So far, the two have struggled to find their chemistry. The playoffs are on the horizon, and there is no telling if the Mavericks can realistically make a deep run in the playoffs. If they don’t then there is this real sense that Kyrie could leave, as he has done to other teams.

Recently, Kyrie Irving took to Twitch where he spoke on a plethora of topics. As we reported yesterday, Irving touched on his critics and some of the narratives that surround him. Additionally, he spoke about the recent controversy surrounding Ja Morant. Morant is now suspended indefinitely, and many are worried about him. However, as is typically the case, Kyrie had a different perspective.

Kyrie Irving Speaks

As you can see above, Irving claims that Morant is a celebrity and that people place different rules on celebrities. Although he thinks that should not be the case. At the end of the day, we are all human beings who should be afforded forgiveness. “Y’all saw what’s going on. We don’t have to get into (Morant),” Irving said. “We don’t even have to go into that because (Morant) isn’t the only one that’s dealt with real life circumstances. He’s not the only one. He won’t be the only one. I’m going to stand, and make sure I’m there for my family and friends. We all make mistakes. We all do things we regret. But somehow when you’re a celebrity and you’re famous, you’re underneath different rules.”

Kyrie certainly makes a good point. Although there is no denying that Ja Morant has done something wrong here. Either way, Kyrie is a “free thinker” so we’re not surprised he went with a whole different outlook on what went down. That said, let us know your thoughts on Kyrie’s remarks, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the sports world.

Kyrie Irving Rips Critics During Twitch Stream

Overall, Kyrie Irving is one of the most hated players in the NBA. Although the criticisms against Kyrie are not always fair, there are certainly some valid critiques out there. For instance, Irving is someone who is very rarely available for his teams. Furthermore, he had a difficult time fitting in with teams like the Celtics and Nets. Now, he is on the Dallas Mavericks, and a lot of people are watching Irving closely. They want him to succeed, however, the chance of failure here is quite large.

That said, Kyrie Irving has always been hyper-aware of the criticisms that exist out there. Overall, he is very active on social media, and he remains tapped into the discourse. Last night, Kyrie decided to hop on Twitch where he clapped back at his critics. Mostly, he spoke to those who call him a locker room cancer. Irving believes this assessment of him is completely unfair. Furthermore, he thinks that people only criticize him because they are bitter and that it brings them more clicks.

Kyrie Irving Speaks

“’What’s Ky gonna do this summer? Does Ky like Dallas? What happened in Brooklyn, what happened in Boston? What happened in Cleveland?,’” Kyrie said mockingly. “‘Why did you leave LeBron? … Why did you leave all of these people?’ … Me, you would think I’m the cancer in the locker room, as if basketball is an individual sport that one person is supposed to take blame for. It’s 15 guys on the team, and I’m the one cancer in the room? That’s what it’s portrayed as, that’s what you guys get that’s what they have fun doing. That’s why these older, bitter gentlemen and women keep my name in their mouths every day.”

Kyrie and the media have always seemingly had an adversarial relationship. Following these latest comments, that probably will not change. Overall, the media does not like to be called out like this. On the flipside, Kyrie does not like to be criticized in any capacity. Put these two dichotomies together and you have a real beef brewing. Let us know whose side you are on here, down in the comments section below.

Kevin Durant Gets Honest About Kyrie Irving Trade Request

Kevin Durant is currently a member of the Phoenix Suns. Overall, this would not have happened without Kyrie Irving and his infamous trade request. With Kyrie claiming to want a long-term deal, the Nets made it clear that they had some reservations. Consequently, Irving was offended and he decided to ask for a move. Subsequently, he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks which then led to the Durant trade.

Now, the entire Western Conference has been shaken up. Although some fans hate how quickly the NBA can change, others find this exciting. The West is going to be extremely interesting come playoff time, and in the eyes of many, the Suns are favorites to win it all. However, there are others who are curious about Durant’s feelings toward Kyrie. On the most recent episode of The ETCs, Durant revealed exactly how everything made him feel.

Kevin Durant Speaks

“I’m disappointed that we didn’t finish the season, but I also know that we’re all our own separate entities,” Durant said. “We all move and do the things that we wanna do for our careers. I can’t fault somebody for doing that, even though it might have been at our expense as a team. But that’s who he is and that’s what he wanted to and I can’t have a problem with that. I don’t wanna act like I wasn’t upset that we didn’t finish the season because I love playing with Kai, I wanted to see where we can go with that because we were both playing at a high level. … We haven’t had a conversation but eventually we will.”

Clearly, Durant and Kyrie are still cool with one another. At the end of the day, Kyrie made a decision and KD respects that. Although, there is no doubt that these two could have made a run together in Brooklyn. Now, it seems like KD is much better suited for a deep playoff run. Let us know what you think of KD’s remarks, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from the sports world.

Kyrie Irving’s Rumored Plans For The Offseason Revealed

Kyrie Irving is one of the best point guards in the entire NBA. Although some people don’t find his antics to be worth it, there is no doubt that a lot of teams could use him. The Dallas Mavericks certainly thought so as they traded for the former Nets star. Overall, Kyrie has only played a handful of games with the Mavericks, leading to a record of 2-3. He and Luka Doncic have a lot of work to do, although they could certainly cause some damage in the postseason.

This is a very interesting experiment for the Dallas Mavericks. Kyrie is going to be a free agent in the summer, which means he can go anywhere he wants. Overall, this means that Irving could simply be a rental for the Mavericks. Aside from Luka, who they drafted, the team has not been good at attracting other superstars. That being said, there has been speculation that Irving would walk for a team like the Lakers. However, according to Bleacher Report’s Eric Pincus, it seems like executives around the league believe Kyrie will stay put.

Kyrie Has A Choice

“Kyrie will be on his best behavior until he gets paid; after is a different story,” one higher-up said. “Unless he and Luka actively despise each other, I don’t see Dallas letting him go.” This was subsequently followed by the words of another executive who is thinking the exact same way. “Kyrie’s goal in pushing out of Brooklyn was to get his rights with a team willing to pay him,” they explained. “Dallas is where he’ll want to be.”

This is definitely an interesting scenario. It seemed like Kyrie and the Lakers were a sure thing. Now, however, Irving could experience some stability in Dallas. That said, it is hard to imagine him and Luka co-existing for more than just a postseason. Only time will tell whether or not we are wrong. Let us know where you want to see Kyrie play, down in the comments below.

LeBron James & Kyrie Irving Reunite: Watch

LeBron James is in his 20th season of NBA basketball. Overall, he is still playing at an incredibly high level. However, this has not put the Lakers into a playoff position, at least not yet. The team is currently battling for a play-in spot, and they even have a chance at getting the sixth seed. Although, it is not going to be easy. They have to play some pretty good teams to get there, and last night, they had to take on the latest dynamic duo in the league. Of course, we are talking about Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving.

Luka and Kyrie have had some struggles together. That said, they are incredibly talented and can definitely take down a team like the Lakers. Instead, on Sunday, the Lakers came out victorious. At one point in the first half, the Lakers were down by 27 points. Despite this, they were able to make an impressive comeback that featured some heroics from LeBron and Anthony Davis down the stretch. It was a horrible loss for the Mavs, but a massive win for the Lakers.

LeBron x Kyrie

Subsequently, after the game, LeBron was able to greet players from the Mavs. In the clip above, you can see that this included Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. Overall, Luka and Kyrie didn’t seem to be too upset about the loss. They simply dapped up LeBron with huge smiles on their faces. In fact, Irving looked incredibly happy to see James as they executed what seemed to be a pretty involved handshake. It is just another example of how much these two love each other.

Unfortunately, for the Mavericks, this could very well spark some rumors about what Kyrie will do in the offseason. He is going to become a free agent which means he is free to do as he pleases. The Lakers are a team that would love to have Kyrie, although who knows what will happen at this point? Let us know what you thought of yesterday’s Lakers Vs. Mavericks game, in the comments below. Kyrie Irving & Luka Doncic Secure First Win Together

When Kyrie Irving was traded to the Dallas Mavericks just a few weeks ago, fans were curious to see how that would work out. Overall, Irving is someone who has had some issues when it comes to gelling with his teammates. However, he is now playing with Luka Doncic, who some feel is an MVP candidate. One would have to assume that these two would become a dynamic duo. Sure, Luka might be ball dominant, but he has never truly had a superstar teammate. Now that he has that, Mavericks fans should be very excited about a potential postseason run.

Unfortunately, their first two games together weren’t amazing. While Luka and Kyrie had solid individual performances, the team lost two games in a row. Subsequently, the All-Star break came which allowed both players to get some time off. Furthermore, it gave them some time to hang out off of the court. As it turns out, this worked out perfectly for them as on Thursday night, they secured their first win together.

Kyrie & Luka Pop Off

While playing against the lowly San Antonio Spurs, Luka and Kyrie were able to combine for 51 points. Luka finished with 28 while Kyrie had 23. Overall, it was a blowout win for the Mavericks who were playing against a Spurs team that has lost 15 in a row. Throughout the game, Kyrie and Luka showcased some great chemistry, and it is clear that they are going to dominate for the rest of the year. Whether or not they can make a deep playoff run still remains to be seen. After all, the West is a deep conference right now, and it would be a very tough road to the NBA Finals.

This is a bit of an experiment for the Mavericks. Kyrie is going to become a free agent this summer, and he could choose to leave the franchise entirely. If that is the case, then the Mavs have just one shot to make this work. Overall, this trade was an indication that Dallas is going all in. Let us know whether or not you think it will pay off, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the sports world.

LeBron James Reveals How Proud He Is Of Kyrie Irving

LeBron James is someone who has played for 20 years in the NBA. Overall, he has seen a lot of players come and go. Additionally, he has been able to play with some truly exceptional guys. This includes none other than Kyrie Irving. James and Kyrie were teammates on the Cleveland Cavaliers, and they even won an NBA title together. It was an amazing partnership that fans are very nostalgic for. Even now, LeBron and his fans yearn for that partnership to be rekindled.

In fact, when Kyrie demanded a trade from the Brooklyn Nets, LeBron made it clear that he wanted Irving on the Lakers. However, the Lakers never made the trade that James was asking for. Instead, he had to wait on a trade that sent Russell Westbrook to the Jazz. Subsequently, LeBron even told ESPN in an exclusive interview that he was disappointed to not have Kyrie on his team. Needless to say, if LeBron James could shake up the league right now, he would make sure that Kyrie is his point guard.

LeBron James Praises Kyrie

During the All-Star draft yesterday, LeBron made sure to draft Kyrie Irving to his team. The two of them shared a long embrace, and overall, it was a whole lot of fun. Afterward, LeBron was asked by reporters about his relationship with Kyrie. This is where James made it clear how much he loves the Mavericks star. “It’s always good to see him. I’m very proud of him. Very proud of the man that he has become in his life right now,” LeBron said. Overall, it was a huge endorsement of Kyrie, who has been through a lot over the past few years. Irving is someone who is still finding himself, and LeBron appreciates that growth.

Hopefully, Kyrie continues to find what makes him happy. He is now in Dallas which is a nice fresh start for him. Moreover, he is a free agent in the summer, which could lead to a reunion with LeBron. No matter what, it is an exciting time to be Kyrie right now. Stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the sports world.

James Harden On Kevin Durant & Kyrie Irving Trades: “I Don’t Look Like the Crazy One”

James Harden says he no longer looks like “the crazy one” following the Brooklyn Nets’ recent trades before the deadline. The team sent Kyrie Irving to the Dallas Mavericks and Kevin Durant to the Phoenix Suns. Harden himself left the Nets, last season, after a tumultuous stretch with the team. Harden discussed his tenure with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant following the Philidelphia 76ers’ 101-98 win over the Nets on Saturday night.

“I didn’t just ask to leave for no reason,” Harden said after the game. “I was in a really good place in Houston. Obviously, we didn’t have a chance to win a championship, but I was comfortable. So for me to up and leave my family, all the things I created there, to come to Brooklyn for a year and a half to try to just get up and leave, it was for a reason, you know what I mean? But I’m happy for the organization and what they’ve got back. They got some really good pieces.”

James Harden’s Comments

“Frustrating,” he said of his time with the Nets. “It’s a lot of what-ifs, I think when you play less than 20 games together. So it’s a little bit frustrating, but it is what it is. Hopefully, everybody’s in a good place now and we can move on.” He continued: “I don’t look like the crazy one. I don’t look like the guy or the quitter or whatever the media want to call me. I knew what was going on and I just decided to…hey, I’m not built for this. I don’t want to deal with that. I want to play basketball and have fun”

Harden joined the Nets back in January 2021, immediately making the team a favorite to compete for NBA titles. However, their potential was never realized and the team failed to even make it to the conference finals. By February 2022, the Nets shipped Harden to the 76ers. Harden lobbied for the deal as he could sense things were moving in a bad direction for the Nets.

Harden also addressed whether Kyrie Irving’s antics factored into his decision to leave the Nets: “That’s not something that I’m going to answer. But the reason I made that decision to get out of my comfort zone which was leave Houston and do everything that I did to get out of there was to come in and play with KD and Kyrie.
