Will Travis Scott Go On A Stadium Tour For ‘Utopia?’

With the release of his new single, “KPop,” Travis Scott fans’ anticipation for the rapper’s upcoming album, Utopia, has just ballooned. Although the musician’s previously announced concert at Egypt’s Great Pyramids of Giza in Eygpt seems to be in trouble, that isn’t the only way to see Scott’s high-energy stage show. So when will Travis Scott go on a stadium tour run for the album Utopia?

According to an Easter egg in the “KPop” music video, you won’t have to wait much longer. The visual — filmed at the Allianz Riviera stadium in Nice, France — revealed signage suggesting that Scott was in the midst of rehearsals for the Utopia Stadium Tour. No date appears on the banners plastered around the venue. Still, these graphics were strategically placed for a reason, it would seem, just as with the mystery billboards that appeared around different cities, suggesting that July 21 would mark a huge date for Scott.

That wasn’t the only Easter egg hidden within the video for the track. Shortly after the 30-second mark, the entertainer strikes a pose while the motorcyclist performs a daring stunt. While most would draw their attention to the cyclist, Scott’s wardrobe that you should be taking notes on. On his feet is a pair of “Cut The Check” sneakers, his latest footwear collaboration with the Jordan brand.

Although Scott hasn’t confirmed when his album, tour, or sneaker will be released, fans speculate that his headlining set at Rolling Loud Miami 2023 tomorrow (June 22) will reveal more details.

Travis Scott, Bad Bunny, And The Weeknd Are On ‘KPop’ Levels Of Fame With Their New Collab

Travis Scott is back — and he’s brought some friends with him. On his new song, “KPop,” Scott is joined by fellow hitmaker heavyweights Bad Bunny and The Weeknd, as they all come through with the heat.

Over a smooth, percussive beat, Scott delivers his signature brand of rap-singing. Of course, in true Travis Scott fashion, there’s no shortage of “skrt” or “it’s lit” adlibs.

Bad Bunny pops in, with the intent to charm a lady on the dancefloor — no matter how her man feels about it.

Meanwhile, The Weeknd — in his first musical contribution since the end of season 1 of his controversial HBO series, The Idol — seeks to continue a debauched night long after the club closes.

The scorching new single arrives a week before his hotly-anticipated fourth studio album, Utopia. Utopia marks Scott’s first album in five years, and also, his first since the Astroworld tragedy.

Scott will celebrate the release of Utopia next week with a special concert at the Giza Pyramids in Egypt — despite rumors of its previous cancellation due to alleged cultural insensitivity. The album will also come in five different artworks.

You can listen to “KPop” above.

Utopia is out 7/28 via Epic Records and Cactus Jack. Find out more information here.

Travis Scott Will Launch The ‘Utopia’ Era With His ‘KPop’ Single With The Weeknd And Bad Bunny

We’re inching closer toward Utopia.

Travis Scott will actualize his forthcoming album at the Pyramids Of Giza in Egypt on July 28, despite reports that the event had been canceled. There have been other questions about whether The Weeknd will be featured on Utopia, and Scott has now answered that as well.

“Flame Abe Benito Out Tomorrow Night,” Scott joint-posted with The Weekend on Wednesday evening, July 19, confirming his single with Bad Bunny and The Weeknd. According to Scott’s official website, the track is titled “KPop” and is available in digital, CD, and vinyl form.

In late May, videos circulated online of an alleged Utopia showcase at Lilly’s Club in Monaco, where Scott is said to have teased an unreleased song featuring Bad Bunny. Benito addressed it as the cover star for Rolling Stone‘s July/August 2023 issue.

“We worked on that a while back — and I think Travis has been working on his project for a minute,” Bad Bunny told the publication.

While Utopia still doesn’t have an official release date — though it’s rumored to be arriving on July 28 — it’s worth noting that Scott will serve as a headliner at Rolling Loud Miami on Saturday, July 22. Nothing about this Utopia rollout has been predictable, but it’s probably safe to expect the “KPop” live debut at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium this weekend.
