Kevin Durant Reacts To Passing Tim Duncan On All-Time Scoring List

Kevin Durant is easily one of the best players to ever step on a basketball court. When all is said and done, he will likely end up top 10 on the overall list of greatest players. Having said that, he is far from finished when it comes to blessing us with his immense talent.

Durant and the Brooklyn Nets are currently on a tear. This includes a ninth win in a row last night, against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Durant was sensational, yet again, and he even hit a huge milestone during the game. Simply, he passed Tim Duncan for 15th on the all-time scorer’s list.

Kevin Durant Speaks

Overall, this is one of those achievements that speaks volumes to Durant’s career. Subsequently, Durant was asked about the feat and how he feels about it all. As one can imagine, Durant is very excited. However, he remained humble noting that this is something he wants to speak with his friends and family about.

“My career to be able to pass an all-time great, legend, somebody who changed the game, it’s something that I’ll call my folks tonight and talk over and just reminisce on how we got here,” Durant said.

KD is currently in the midst of forging a legacy for himself in Brooklyn. It hasn’t always been easy for him, however, he seems to be doing a great job right now. He and Kyrie Irving are playing at a whole new level and at this point, the Nets need to be considered as potential title contenders.

Kyrie Irving & Kevin Durant Get Into It With Steph Curry Fan: Watch

Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant are finding themselves as partners this season. They have been fantastic for the Brooklyn Nets as of late and fans are excited about the future. Overall, they are climbing the Eastern Conference standings and they seem like real title contenders.

Just a couple of nights ago, the Nets were playing against the Golden State Warriors. Kyrie didn’t play, however, the Nets weren’t worried as they scored 91 points in the first half. Eventually, they went on to win the game by a score of 143-113.

Kyrie & KD Clap Back

This was a complete butt-whooping and the Warriors faithful at the Barclays Center were devastated. Without Steph Curry, the Warriors have been looking bleak, and there is this sense they might miss the postseason. Regardless, some of their fans are still feeling kind of bold.

In the tweet down below, you can see an interaction between Irving, KD, and a Curry fan. The Curry fan continues to taunt the duo, saying things would be different if Steph could play. Kyrie subsequently told the fan “It don’t matter cause he gotta guard me so it’s even.”

The fan had no choice but to shut up at that moment as Kyrie proved him to be wrong. At the end of the day, fans like to talk a big game. However, actual NBA players know what they’re talking about. Irving is not going to allow himself to be talked to that way, and with his history of clapping back at fans, this interaction should not be a surprise.

Let us know what you thought about the interaction, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from around the NBA.

Just like LeBron, when an artist in the hip-hop world drops a new album, you can expect KD to make a comment about it. However, unlike LeBron, Durant doesn’t make his comments from the backseat of a car. Instead, he likes to give his analysis on Twitter.

Kevin Durant has always repped for his home state of Maryland. Whenever he has the opportunity, Durant will make charitable contributions to organizations in the area. Additionally, he has expressed support for the schools in the state, especially at the HBCU level.

KD grew up in Prince George’s County, which just so happens to be where Bowie State University is located. BSU is an HBCU, and this week, KD decided to make a massive charitable contribution to the school.

Kevin Durant x BSU

According to blackenterprise.com, Durant’s contribution is upwards of $500,000. This is a massive amount of money that will go towards renovating the school’s basketball facility. Overall, they want to improve the court, while also adding a press box, and more seats.

Subsequently, Kevin’s mom Wanda spoke to the school about this recent donation. As she explained, this is something KD always wanted to do as BSU is located right where he grew up. Moreover, Bowie State president Aminta Breaux made a statement about Durant’s generosity.

“We’re grateful for the resources that Kevin Durant and his family foundation have generously donated to Bowie State University to advance student success in achieving their academic goals,” Breaux said. “His contributions will go a long way towards updating our facilities and ensure a top-tier athletic experience for all of our students. The foundation has already built a network of community-centric services within the Durant Center in Prince George’s County that is exemplary.

Overall, this is great news for Bowie State as they will be able to provide their students with an incredible athletic experience. Hopefully, the renovations go well and Durant gets to attend a game in the future.

Shannon Sharpe Urged By KD To “Toughen Up” After Skip Bayless Spat

Shannon Sharpe is one of the greatest tight ends in the history of the NFL. Of course, he won three Super Bowl titles. This includes two with the Denver Broncos and one with the Baltimore Ravens. Additionally, he is in the Hall of Fame and even holds the record for the best statistical game by a tight end.

Overall, he is a player who should be respected by everyone. He helped change the game for tight ends, as the position would never be the same following his career. He is a pioneer in the game of football, and to question his credentials is simply ludicrous.

Shannon Vs. Skip Bayless

Unfortunately, that is exactly what his co-host Skip Bayless did on Monday. In the clip down below, you can hear Skip telling Shannon that Tom Brady is better than him. Moreover, he even suggests that Shannon is jealous of Brady, which is a truly ridiculous notion.

Of course, Shannon Sharpe was livid with Skip’s commentary, and it led to some tense moments on set. Unfortunately, Bayless continued to poke the bear, and wouldn’t let up. Now, there is this sense that the two will never have the same chemistry on air.

KD Has Advice For Shannon Sharpe

The clip was posted by DJ Akademiks on Instagram this morning, which led to a quick response from none other than Kevin Durant. As you can see below, KD told Shannon to “toughen up.” It was a pretty bold piece of advice, and we’re sure Sharpe isn’t going to appreciate it.

After all, if there is anyone who has yet to “toughen up,” it would be KD. The Brooklyn Nets star is constantly getting into social media battles with nobodies. However, it seems like Durant is still dead set on getting his shots in.

Let us know what you think of KD’s advice to Sharpe, in the comments section down below.

Drake Calls Kevin Durant His “Executive Producer”

Drake loves basketball. The Toronto rapper runs his own rec league, the championship of which he’s won twice now, and obsessively shares his son’s skills in the sport on social media. He’s also friends with quite a few professional players, including Kevin Durant.

On Thursday, Drake shouted out his friend, who was celebrating his thirty-fourth birthday. He also gave him an unexpected title. “More life to my exec producer @easymoneysniper,” the 6 God wrote in an Instagram Story.

Drake and Durant have had an amicable relationship for a while. Back in 2016, Drake shouted out KD in his song “Weston Road Flows” off of Views.

Now, it seems like they’re more buddy-buddy than ever. A couple weeks ago, Durant and Drizzy were spotted on a night out in New York City. The two were celebrating, and people speculated it was an early birthday bonanza for Durant. Unsurprisingly, the two were swarmed by adoring fans as they left a party and got into their vehicles.

Both men have been experiencing a bit of drama as of late. Drake recently got into a bizarre beef with YouTube music critic Anthony Fantano. “Your existence is a light 1,” Drake DM’d Fantano, referring to the critic’s rating scale. “And the 1 is cause you are alive. And cause you somehow wifed a black girl. I’m feeling a light to decent 1 on your existence.”

Durant, meanwhile, has been embroiled in a tumultuous relationship with the Nets, which seems to have settled down for the time being. Happy birthday, KD.

Kevin Durant Is Sick Of Talking About His Trade Request

Kevin Durant’s trade request from the offseason was a complete and utter failure. He tried to big-time the Nets and it did not work the way he thought it would. The team reminded him that he is under contract for four more years, and it ultimately made him rescind his request. Now, KD is in for a difficult season in Brooklyn, where he will have to get this team back to the top of the East standings.

Durant is trying to leave this trade request behind him, however, the media isn’t letting him do that. In fact, earlier today, Nick Friedell of ESPN asked KD if there were any inaccuracies surrounding the reporting of his trade request. That’s when KD clapped back at the media, saying that it’s time to let it go.

Dustin Satloff/Getty Images

“Can we move on past that at some point? I know it’s an interesting story,” Durant said. “I know that it took up most of the offseason and drama sells, I get that, but I didn’t miss any games, I didn’t miss any practices, I’m still here. There’s a lot of sh** that was inaccurate but it’s like I don’t want to go through it right now. We don’t got that much time right now.”

The Nets have been soaked in drama over the last couple of years, so it makes sense that KD would want to move past it. With that being said, he still wanted to get his GM and coach fired, which is something that needs to be answered for.

Kevin Durant Celebrated with Birthday Cake at Nets Practice

Kevin Durant is back with the Brooklyn Nets, and on one of the opening days of training camp, Easy Money Sniper was celebrated with a birthday cake.

Ahead of training camp, Durant was on hand at the 2022 Media Day and spoke about his return to the Brooklyn Nets.

Ahead of training camp, Durant was on hand at the 2022 Media Day and spoke about his return to the Brooklyn Nets. Many wondered what the relationship with head coach Steven Nash would be like after a tough summer relationship. Nash spoke to ESPN about the issue.

“We’re fine,” Nash said to ESPN. “We’re good. Ever since we talked, it’s been like nothing’s changed. I have a long history with Kevin. I love the guy. Families have issues. We had a moment and it’s behind us. That’s what happens. It’s a common situation in the league.

“We all were hurting, seething, to go through what we went through last year, not being able to overcome all that adversity. Sometimes you lose perspective because you expect to win, but the reality is we were able to talk and discuss what we can improve on from last year. And also keep perspective. We went through a ton of stuff.”

The Brooklyn Nets will kick off their season hosting Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans.

Kevin Durant Surprised With Birthday Cake At Nets Practice

Kevin Durant has had some turbulent times with the Brooklyn Nets over the past few months. Back in July, Durant requested a trade from the Nets, although the team was unable to find a proper suitor. Eventually, Durant decided to scrap his request and simply ride it out with his team. After all, he is under contract for four more seasons, which gives the Nets all the leverage.

This week, Durant started training camp with the Nets, and it comes at a very interesting time for Durant. We say that because today marks Durant’s 34th birthday. He is in his 16th NBA season, and he is only a few years younger than his rival, LeBron James.

Dustin Satloff/Getty Images

Despite the issues he’s had with the franchise, they still came through for his birthday as the team gifted KD a birthday cake in the middle of practice. As you can see in the clip below, the cake was wheeled out in front of the whole team, and Durant seemed pretty embarrassed by it all. Regardless, it was a nice little team bonding moment.

Durant and the Nets are looking to turn things around this season, and they have a real opportunity to. Hopefully, Durant can prove doubters wrong as he tries to regain confidence in Kyrie Irving and his new teammate, Ben Simmons.

Stephen A. Smith Delivers Harsh Words To Kevin Durant

Stephen A. Smith has been a staunch critic of Kevin Durant over the past few years. With that being said, there is a lot to critique KD over. This is especially true when you consider how KD tried to hold the Nets hostage this past summer. Durant requested a trade from the team that never actually came to fruition. He lost his battle with team owner Joe Tsai, and Smith has had a lot of fun with his criticisms of the situation.

Durant got to speak on Monday during the Nets’ media day. KD was asked plenty of questions about his commitment to the Nets, especially in light of his previous trade request. Durant was quite defensive when answering the question, and he even claimed that his play on the court speaks for itself and that his commitment cannot be questioned.

Rodin Eckenroth/Getty Images

Stephen A. certainly doesn’t see it that way, and he let his feelings be known during yesterday’s episode of First Take. As you can see in the clip down below, Smith accused KD of wanting to run from the grind, while also saying that this is KD’s team and it is his responsibility to make it work.

“Essentially you were ready to cut and run. That’s your team. … When your that dude and you don’t like the way things are, you’ve got some influence to change it!” Smith said.

Let us know what you think of Smith’s take, in the comments section down below.
