Lil Yachty Crashes Out On Karrahbooo & Mitch In Explosive IG Live Rant: Unpacking The Beef

Lil Yachty’s Concrete Boys crew might not be as solid as he thought. That’s especially the case after the rapper hopped on Instagram Live on Thursday night to air out his associates and signees. Despite pledging to stay off the internet for the remainder of the year, Yachty is still keeping tabs on social media narratives, whether or not they are true.

In the late hours of Thursday night, Lil Yachty went on a full-blown rant on Instagram Live where he aired out Karrahbooo for alleged comments she made about her split from Concrete Boys to a Red Lobster employee. Sounds crazy, right? Unfortunately, it didn’t end there as Yachty shifted his fury toward his best friend and A Safe Space co-host Mitch for not defending him against a random Twitter user claiming that the Atlanta rapper is a bad friend. A lot unravelled over a few hours so here’s everything you need to know about the beef so far.

Karrahbooo’s Departure From Concrete Boys

Before we delve into last night’s shenanigans, it’s important to highlight the beginning of this issue. In late July, fans speculated that Karrahbooo left the crew after fans found that she unfollowed her labelmates. Though it was initially rumors, the “Poland” star confirmed that she was, in fact, not a part of the collective anymore. “I’ma say this sh*t one time,” Yachty said on Instagram Live. “We have split ways with Karrah as far as this Concrete sh*t. I have nothing to say. Nothing bad to say, nothing negative to say about Karrah. I wish her the best in her career. That’s that. … I don’t have anything really bad to say or anything good to say. We just split, you know?”

Friction On The Timeline

It turns out that Yachty had plenty of negative things to say that were weighing on his chest. He just needed something minor to trigger the emotions that had been bottled up. The issues with Karrahbooo seemingly took a turn for the worse after an alleged Red Lobster employee claimed that Karrah pulled up to the restaurant when she was asked about leaving Concrete.

“Bro she walked in my job (red lobster) to order biscuits and I asked her why she left and she immediately corrected me and said I didn’t leave they kicked me out,” user @C_Staxxz wrote. “Saying they were really mean to her and bullying her a lot.” The user then added her own speculation to the mix, writing, “She seemed really hurt behind ts tbh like they really did her dirty and i believe its because her name was the biggest behind yachty if we being real I only started listening to him again because of her. They’re haters and i told her she’ll do just fine without them. F*ck em.” She also added a photo with Karrahbooo to corroborate that the rapper did pull up to Red Lobster.

Mind you, Karrahbooo herself didn’t mention anything on the Internet, and much of the tweet was primarily speculation. Plus, no one can really verify whether Karrah said these things. Ultimately, there’s clearly tension between the two, and neither particularly wanted to spill into the public eye.

The Mitch Situation Unfolds

Just a day before this tweet regarding Karrah emerged, A Safe Space released a new episode alongside Key Glock who witnessed Yachty violating his co-host, Mitch. In a clip that circulated across X/Twitter, Yachty took credit for Mitch’s success, going as far as claiming his co-host wouldn’t have anything going in life it weren’t for him. Glock kept mum throughout the segment. However, a fan clipped that part of the episode and wrote, “Lil Yachty disrespecting his friend in front of Key Glock.” At the time of writing, the clip gained 9.7M views while a repost of the clip siding with Mitch garnered 901K.

“Mitch. Lil Yachty is not your homie. There’s a time and place to have these conversations. Not on a podcast in front of millions of people to dissect and observe. This is lame as f*ck,” the tweet read. “Don’t do favors for people and then hold it over their head. That’s foul as f*ck.”

Lil Yachty Pulls Receipts On Karrahbooo

Yachty laid it all out during his Instagram Live last night, beginning with Karrahbooo, who he claimed was verbally abusive, entitled, and lacked any rap skills His explosive rant initially denied claims that she was bullied before pivoting over to her catalog of music, which he said he wrote entirely and even provided receipts. “I slowed the beat down, I put 808s specifically on your verse so when it got to your part and the beat dropped, everyone would be like, ‘this girl is the craziest one,” he said in reference to her debut freestyle on On The Radar. He later shared the reference track to back his claim.

“I wrote every f*cking verse you’ve done… I dressed you. I dressed all five of y’all n***as bro. I dressed five n***as every time we stepped out the house. I put an outfit on everybody. I put eight carats of earrings on everybody ear. I put three chains on all y’all neck,” he continued. “I changed your mother f*cking life and you are here lying, talking about some: ‘We bully you’… That shit got me f*cked up, bro. You got me f*cked up, bro. You disrespectful, bro. You talk to people crazy. You tell people that they are nothing. You tell people you’re going to spit on them. You tell people they poor and you talk to my f*cking label crazy. You claim I was stealing money.” He also alleged that she put Concrete $900K in the hole and he never recouped on his investment.

Mitch Catches Strays

Quite frankly, this aspect of the entire rant didn’t paint Yachty in the best light. Once again, the powers of social media broke Yachty completely as he bashed Mitch for failing to address random social media users criticizing him. In fact, Yachty’s emotions completely took control of him to the point where he decided to cancel their podcast abruptly. First, he explained that Mitch approached him to do a podcast, which Yachty obliged, in order to help his co-host and friend build a platform.

“I ain’t want to do no motherf*cking podcast n***a, I’m a f*cking rapper… I put $400,000 in Mitch pocket,” he said. “I ain’t f*ckin’ with Mitch, bro. I been sleep all day, I wake up to this crazy sh*t. I say, ‘Mitch, how the f*ck you ain’t go on the internet and tell these folks that we playin’, bruh?’” According to Boat, Mitch downplayed the situation, allegedly claiming, “It’s Twitter, bruh. You know how they is.” Yachty then cussed out Mitch for not defending him on the Internet against strangers and subsequently decided to cancel the podcast. “All I do is help people, bruh. I don’t get nothing from none of this sh*t,” Yachty added.

Mitch Clears The Air

In a series of tweets, Mitch finally addressed the narrative surrounding his relationship with Boat. “please don’t let that clip misguide you it doesn’t represent me and yachty’s friendship at all we joke around pretty harsh sometimes too much fr sometimes but irl it’s nothing but respect and love i can’t even get on here and act like it’s not,” he said.

Later, he made it clear that he has always had his own thing going on, even before meeting Lil Yachty. “i ain’t nobody lil bro never been check my history i had stats before i met bro and got even more now, all i ever wanted to do was just focus on the music and being involved in the culture in a positive way i hope none of this hinders that,” he wrote.

Lil Yachty Clashes With Mitch’s Ex/Cousin?

Though it seemed like the dust had settled, a new party entered the chat: Mitch’s supposed ex, Camille. Sharing a voice note to social media, she slammed Yachty for his alleged treatment of Mitch over the years. “Like, I been telllin’ Mitch you’re a bogus ass n***a. I been sayin’ that sh*t ‘cause you are. You are a bogus ass n***a,” she said. Then, she threatened to pull out receipts backing up everything she said.

In response, Yachty quickly tweeted and deleted a voice note refuting her claims. While Camille claimed that Mitch took on a managerial role for Yachty and often had to be in meetings, Yachty said that his co-host had been lying to her the whole time. He went on to say that Mitch only used Camille for a place to stay before revealing that she was, in fact, the cousin that Mitch claimed to have slept with during an episode of A Safe Space podcast. She later fired back on Twitter Spaces.

Lil Yachty Leaks Reference Track For Karrahbooo’s “On The Radar” Freestyle

Lil Yachty was not playing around on Thursday night. The rapper decided to stop playing nice with his former signee, Karrahbooo, and put her on blast. He not only hopped on Instagram Live to call her out for being “verbally abusive,” but he pulled the rug out from her in terms of writing ability. Lil Yachty claimed that he wrote all of Karrahbooo’s verses when she was with Concrete Boys. This includes verses on her albums and EPs, as well as freestyles. Fans were understandably shocked by this claim, but Yachty went and provided evidence.

Lil Yachty leaked the reference track for Karrahbooo’s “On the Radar” freestyle within hours of his rant. The freestyle is nearly identical, give or take a few pauses. It’s a bit hard to make out everything that Lil Boat is saying, but the flow and the instrumental are identical. It’s damning evidence, with regards to the notion that Lil Yachty has been propping Karrahbooo’s career up. The reference track was just the tip of the iceberg, though. The rapper claimed that Karrahbooo was actually $900K in the hole with him, and needs to pay him back before he starts taking legal action.

Lil Yachty Claims Karrahbooo Owns Him $900K

Lil Yachty responded to a rumor that he’d been stealing money from Karrahbooo, so he felt compelled to state that the opposite is true. “This the problem with you new artists,” the rapper said during his IG rant. “Y’all get popping online, and then you become more popular than your actual music.” Yachty went on to claim that Karrahbooo owed him, in both exposure and in dollars. “You $900K in the hole,” he revealed. “And I got every f*cking receipt, and Ima post it, I dare you, try me.” Lil Yachty also threatened to reveal how much Karrahbooo has made via streaming, which he implies is minuscule compared to what he’s owed.

“Nobody would even know who the f*ck Karrahbooo was if it wasn’t for me,” Lil Yachty asserted. “I’ve been nothing but loving and caring… I paid your bills and gave you money.” The rapper completed his rant by getting aggressive and expressing confusion over Karrahbooo’s arrogance. “What the f*ck are we even talking about, bro,” he asked. Karrahbooo has yet to respond to Lil Yachty’s rant, but the leak, coupled with the claims of owed money, do not look good for her. The situation continues to get more and more messy.

Lil Yachty Claims He Wrote All Of Karrahbooo’s Music In Explosive Rant

Lil Yachty really let loose on August 22. The rapper caught wind of the rumors that Karrahbooo was talking bad about him and Concrete Boys. A fan who met with Karrahbooo went as far as to allege that Yachty bullied Karrahbooo into leaving. Yachty didn’t appreciate the accusations, and hopped on IG Live to set the record straight. Well, a little more than that, actually. The rapper decided to put Karrahbooo on blast. He not only called out her alleged bad behavior, but took credit for all of her music in the process.

“Bro, go ahead [and tell] people how you talk to people,” Yachty said during his IG rant. He goes on to say that Karrahbooo is a liar who claims to be broke and homeless to elicit sympathy. He also claimed that Karrahbooo was verbally abusive to those in the Concrete Boys camp. “You talk to people like they were nothing,” Yachty asserted. “Like they’re small, like they’re beneath you.” The rapper didn’t stop at broad accusations, either. He proceeded to provide specific examples of Karrahbooo’s allegedly mean behavior. “How you told me you ‘gon spit on me when you see me,” he said. “Your brain is clinically imbalanced…”

Lil Yachty Accused Karrahbooo Of Being Verbally Abusive

Lil Yachty has a reputation for being cordial and friendly. It’s rare to see the rapper clash with people in a public space, Bobbi Althoff interview notwithstanding. This reputation is what makes Yachty’s assertions so surprising. The gloves really came off when the rapper claimed to have written all of Karrahboo’s rap verses when she was with Concrete Boys. He also claimed to have styled her look and instructed her on how to behave to become popular. “I’ve given you a career and time and time you just disrespect me,” he explained. “I wrote every f*cking verse you’ve done, I dressed you.”

Furthermore, Lil Yachty told viewers that Concrete Boys have withheld her behavior from the public in an attempt to give her the benefit of the doubt. “Internally, we have withheld your actions,” he added. “Since the beginning of me giving you this career… I been letting you do this whole thing where you act like you a princess.” Lil Yachty really doubled down on that last point. He pointed out that Karrahbooo worked as a server before he gave her a co-sign. “I changed your motherf*cking life,” he concluded. “You out here lying.” The frustration in Yachty’s voice really comes through toward the end of the rant. Things officially got ugly.

Karrahbooo Fan Claims That Lil Yachty Bullied Her Out Of Concrete Boys

Karrahbooo shocked fans when she decided to leave Concrete Boys in July. The rapper was dubbed the first lady of Lil Yachty’s rap collective. There was widespread speculation as to what caused the split, but both Karrahbooo and Yachty kept quiet. Maybe the split was as amicable as they both said it was. A post by one of Karrahbooo’s fans, however, suggested otherwise. The fan, who goes by Twitter name Moon, claimed that she spoke with the rapper and learned there was much more to the split than we thought.

The fan posted a photo alongside Karrahbooo, and claimed the rapper came in to the restaurant where she worked. Things got juicy, though, when the fan claimed that Karrahbooo opened up about the true reason why she left Concrete Boys. “I asked her why she left,” the fan noted. “She immediately corrected me and said I didn’t leave they kicked me out.” Karrahbooo reportedly went on to lay the blame at the feet of Lil Yachty, who founded the group. “[She said] they were really mean to her and bullying her a lot. She doesn’t talk about it.”

Karrahbooo Was Allegedly Kicked Out Of The Group

The fan then did some reading between the lines, and inferred that there was some possible jealously on the part of Lil Yachty. “I believe it’s because her name was the biggest behind Yachty,” she wrote. “If we being real I only started listening to him again because of her… I told her she’ll do just fine without them, f*ck ’em.” This fan account is far cry from the diplomatic, albeit vague, statement that Lil Yachty made when Karrahbooo left Concrete Boys.

“I’mma say this sh*t one time,” he said on Istagram Live. “We have split ways with Karrah as far as this Concrete sh*t. I have nothing bad to say, nothing negative to say about Karrah. I wish her the best in her career.” Karrahbooo has yet to comment on her feelings toward Lil Yachty and the rest of the Concrete Boys. That being said, she previously bumped heads with Yachty during an episode of the Safe Space podcast. Karrahbooo tried to defend her use of the N-word and Yachty proceeded to shut her down in front of the host. “That won’t happen,” he announced. “You shouldn’t say it.” It sounds like there’s more of the story to come.

Lil Yachty Breaks Silence On Karrahbooo Leaving Concrete Boys

Karrahbooo was the first lady of the Concrete Boys. The collective founded by Lil Yachty always put forth the notion that they were a tight knit group. Which is what made the decision to remove Karrahbooo from the Concrete Boys Instagram bio so surprising. Fans quickly took note of the fact that the rapper was no longer included as a member. They also noticed that Karrahboo decided to unfollow Lil Yachty and the rest of the group on Twitter. Yachty confirmed the rumors on July 29.

The rapper hopped on Instagram Live to set the record straight about Karrahbooo. Right away, Lil Yachty makes it clear that it’s an awkward topic to discuss. “How do I wanna say this,” he says aloud. “I’mma say this sh*t one time. We have split ways with Karrah as far as this Concrete sh*t.” The rapper asserted that there are no hard feelings between Karrahbooo and the rest of the Concrete Boys. He also made it clear that he wants Karrah to have continued success. “I have nothing to say,” he explained. “Nothing bad to say, nothing negative to say about Karrah. I wish her the best in her career.”

Lil Yachty Voices Continued Support For Karrahbooo

Lil Yachty does not get into the specific reason Karrahbooo decided to leave. He reasserted his stance, despite noting at the onset that he would only explain himself once. “I don’t have anything really bad to say or anything good to say,” he added. “We just split, you know?” This is not the first time Lil Yachty and Karrahbooo have had a difference of opinion. In 2023, Karrahbooo experienced backlash for her use of the N-word in her music. Despite being of mixed, Lil Yachty took the side of Karrahbooo’s critics. He stated that the rapper should no longer use the word when she raps.

“I do, like, get kinda annoyed how everyday somebody’s commenting, ‘Why do y’all keep letting her say n-gga?’,” Karrahbooo said on the Safe Space podcast. “So why don’t y’all go ahead and defend me to everybody right now?” Karrahbooo’s plea to her label boss for support, however, did not go according to plan. Lil Yachty took the side of her critics. “That won’t happen,” he explained. “You shouldn’t say it.” Karrahbooo has not yet commented on her exit from Concrete Boys.

Lil Yachty Leaves Karrahboo Stunned, Refuses To Back Her Use Of The N-Word

Rising rapper Karrahboo found herself in a state of shock when fellow artist Lil Yachty declined to defend her use of the controversial N-word. The exchange, caught on video, has left fans buzzing with conversations about cultural sensitivity and the responsibilities that come with growing influence. In the video, Karrahboo expressed her frustration with the criticism she receives for using the N-word. “I do get kinda annoyed,” she admitted, shedding light on the daily types of messages she recieves questioning her choice. “Every day somebody calls me, like, ‘Why do y’all keep letting her say ni–a?’ Or they be like, ‘Can you stop saying that?’” she explained, visibly seeking support from Lil Yachty. “So why dont y’all go ahead and defend me in front of everybody right now?” she asked.

However, Yachty’s response was unexpected. “That won’t happen,” he asserted. He essentially shut down any notion of defending her use of the term. “You shouldn’t say that,” he added bluntly, leaving Karrahboo and viewers taken aback by the refusal to offer solidarity.

Moreover, Lil Yachty’s stance, asserting that Karrahboo “shouldn’t say that,” was one that many social media users agreed with. It speaks to the evolving conversations within the genre about cultural appropriation and the responsibility artists bear in influencing their audience. “To ‘want’ to use that word is weird. Let’s expand our vocabulary,” one person commented. “Idk if she shocked that they really feel like that or if she shocked they said that on camera…Girl you know you should not be saying that stop it,” another said.

As the video circulates on social media, opinions diverge on whether Lil Yachty’s refusal is a stance against cultural insensitivity or a reflection of a broader conversation about language and identity within the hip-hop community. The incident serves as a reminder that artists, regardless of their status, can spark significant discussions about cultural appropriation and the weight that certain words carry in the ever-evolving landscape of hip-hop.
