Big Daddy Kane and UK rapper Kamanchi Sly almost threw hands at a Hip Hop 50 event in London. The event went down at the O2 Forum Kentish Town, and while Kane was on the stage, Sly came on the stage in a mask, eventually being confronted by the Hip Hop icon.
“You’re doing too much playboy,” Kane said. “I need the stage. You’re doing too much.”
It would continue to escalate as Kane didn’t back down, and the “Smooth Operator” stepped closer and was getting ready to scrap before it was all diffused.
HipHopDX states fans in attendance were informed that UK acts were being rescheduled throughout the card to appease American acts, while another states Sly and his crew missed their performance slot. There is no official confirmation on the root of the issue. You can see the encounter below.
