NBA Youngboy Seemingly Responds To Lil Baby Quoting His Lyrics: “He Chose A Side”

NBA Youngboy’s feud with Lil Durk extends to whoever decides to work with the Chicago rapper, including Lil Baby. Over the weekend, the Atlanta rapper made waves after his appearance at the Hawks Vs. Grizzlies game in his hometown where he sat courtside with Jayda Cheaves, and later, linked up with NBA Youngboy superfan, Ja Morant. However, it seems as though YB isn’t particularly fond of Lil Durk’s The Voice Of The Heroes collaborator quoting his lyrics.

Ja Morant became synonymous with NBA Youngboy’s lyric from “Fresh Prince Of Utah,” where he declares, “It’s a parade inside my city, yeah.” Morant’s turned the bar into a triumphant chant for each Grizzlies victory, especially after his post-suspension return. YB hasn’t directly acknowledged the reference, though his label tweeted, “You know it’s gonna be a parade for real behind you @jamorant” over the weekend. Though Never Broke Again LLC has high hopes for Grizzlies this season, NBA Youngboy finally acknowledged Ja Morant, though not necessarily for the right reasons.

NBA Youngboy Shuts Down Lil Baby

In the clip of Lil Baby’s link-up with Ja Morant, you can hear him quoting the infamous bar in the background. Though some fans felt as though it was hilarious, YB didn’t appear to be pleased about it. In a since-deleted tweet captured by No Jumper, NBA Youngboy appeared to send out a warning shot at an unnamed individual that many suspect to be Lil Baby. “That b*tch ass n****a got to run into me too better remember he chose a side,” he wrote on Twitter. “This sh*t get gangsta boy.”

It looks like we probably won’t get a verse from Lil Baby on Don’t Try This At Home. However, the two have previously worked together on the single, “One Shot” from the Fast & The Furious 9 (F9) soundtrack. Despite the critical praise, the two haven’t linked up since. Given his recent tweet, it seems like NBA Youngboy truly isn’t interested in working with anyone who also works with his enemy, Lil Durk. Baby hasn’t responded to YB’s tweet yet but we’ll keep you posted if he does. Check out what NBA Youngboy had to say about Lil Baby above.

Lil Baby Recites Ja Morant’s Favorite NBA YoungBoy Lyric

Lil Baby is a massive basketball fan, and as someone who spends a lot of time in Atlanta, you can imagine he goes to quite a few Hawks games. Overall, there are plenty of celebrities who pop out at Hawks matches, and for good reason. With Trae Young on the roster, the team is actually quite entertaining to watch. Moreover, the team is always hosting some of the best teams around the league. For instance, on Sunday night, the Hawks went up against Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies.

As we already reported, Lil Baby was front and center for this matchup. Overall, he was treated to a great show. Although, it was the Grizzlies who came out victorious thanks to an incredible effort from none other than Ja Morant. After the game, Morant got to link up with Baby. Additionally, Morant decided to gift the rapper his jersey. He even signed the back of it, which makes the uniform that much more valuable. However, we are pretty sure Lil Baby isn’t the type to immediately take memorabilia to eBay.

Lil Baby x Ja Morant

In the clips up above, you can see that they had a very jovial interaction. Moreover, Lil Baby even recited Morant’s favorite NBA YoungBoy lyrics. Of course, the Grizzlies star is always saying “it’s a parade inside my city, yeah” after big wins. The phrase has even been scrutinized by Skip Bayless, who is subsequently being clowned for the way he says it. Ultimately, it was a fun night for both of these men who seem to be at the top of their respective fields right now.

When it comes to Morant, he and the Memphis Grizzlies are second in the Western Conference. They want to make a deep run in the playoffs, and they are certainly in a good position to do so. Whether or not they will be able to execute their plans, completely depends on Morant and their young core. Either way, it is going to be very fun to watch. Ja Morant Hilariously Mocks Skip Bayless: Watch

Ja Morant made his grand return to the NBA this past week. Overall, he has been excellent since his suspension. While some were worried that his off-court antics would prove to be a distraction, it appears the opposite. For instance, just a couple of nights ago, Morant dropped an impressive 27 points against the Hawks. Moreover, he helped his team win the game, cementing the Grizzlies as a second seed in the Western Conference. Furthermore, the team is just three games out of first place, which is truly impressive given everything that went down only three weeks ago.

If you have watched Grizzlies games, you know that whenever the team wins, Morant says the NBA YoungBoy lyric, “It’s a parade inside my city, yeah.” Morant echoed this phrase during his first game back on the Grizzlies’ sideline. This subsequently led to a segment on Undisputed in which Skip Bayless mimicked the saying, but in a goofy cadence. From there, the clip went viral and the Grizzlies have been embracing the meme. In fact, even Ja is self-aware of the whole situation.

Ja Morant Sees Everything

In the video up above, Morant enters the Grizzlies’ tunnel after a game and immediately says his signature phrase. However, he made sure to say it exactly as Skip would. It was a pretty hilarious moment that had the internet in an uproar. As for Bayless himself, he really has no choice but to tip his cap to Morant. After all, the Grizzlies superstar is playing great basketball and it feels like he cannot be stopped. Hopefully, Bayless realizes that these lyrics are not bad at all and that Ja has turned the corner on his past behavior.

As for the Grizzlies, they have an opportunity to make something happen in the postseason. They are staring down a rematch with the Minnesota Timberwolves, which could subsequently lead to a rematch with the Golden State Warriors. Although, this team is more mature than they were last year and it will be interesting to see how they respond. They have a young core, and this postseason could very well prove to be their coming-out party. Stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sports world.

Ja Morant Receives Massive Standing Ovation

Ja Morant is someone who has been watched closely by fans and the league as of late. Overall, this is due to the fact that he was engaging in some significant off-court antics. The straw that broke the camel’s back was when Morant decided to flash a gun on Instagram Live. Subsequently, he was suspended eight games by the NBA, without pay. However, he is now back with the Memphis Grizzlies, and on Wednesday night, he played his first game since being suspended.

This matchup took place against the Houston Rockets, who are easily one of the worst teams in the entire NBA. It proved to be a fruitful game for the Grizzlies who managed to win by a score of 130-125. Moreover, the team had Morant coming off of the bench. Head coach Taylor Jenkins was looking to ease him back into things, and Ja did not disappoint. He had 17 points in 24 minutes and even came through with a poster dunk. As for how he was received by fans, it’s clear that Memphis still loves him.

Ja Morant Welcomed Back With Open Arms

In the video clip above, obtained by TMZ, you can see Morant receiving a standing ovation from all of the fans in Memphis. This standing ovation took place as Morant was checking into the game for the very first time. Overall, it was an amazing sight to see as every single fan got up on their feet. Despite everything that has happened, Memphis still has all of the love in the world for Morant. The fans understand he made a mistake and that he is improving every day. Furthermore, he is the key to this franchise winning its first-ever championship.

The Grizzlies currently sit in second place in the Western Conference standings. This is a great place to be, especially since their first round would be against a play-in team. Subsequently, they could very well see the Warriors again in the Western Conference Semi-Finals. Needless to say, this would be a playoff run full of familiar faces. Tee Morant Supports His Son With Special “Redemption” Hoodie

Tee Morant has been subjected to a lot of criticism as of late. Overall, this has been due to his son Ja’s actions. As we all know by now, Ja flashed a gun on Instagram Live which eventually led to his suspension from the league. Moreover, people began to point the finger at Tee, claiming that he should step up and be more of a father. These criticisms were a bit of an overreach as no one actually knows the dynamics of Tee and Ja’s relationship. However, the internet loves to talk, and that is precisely what we saw in this particular instance.

Last night, Ja Morant was able to make his grand comeback. His eight-game suspension expired on Monday, and the Grizzlies were slowly bringing him back to the lineup. Wednesday night proved to be a fruitful one for the Grizzlies as they defeated the Houston Rockets. Furthermore, Morant was able to have a solid game coming off the bench. He dropped a total of 17 points in just 24 minutes, including a beautiful poster dunk. Additionally, Tee Morant was in the building and he was definitely making a statement with his clothing.

Tee Morant Back In The Stands

In the Twitter post up above, you can see that Tee was wearing a hoodie that read “Redemption.” The shirt also depicted Ja Morant dapping up Tee courtside. Overall, it was a nice message that showcases what Ja is trying to accomplish right now. In many ways, he feels as though he has let down the franchise and the fanbase. Although, he is now being given a chance to redeem himself. This is especially true now that the playoffs are here.

As it stands, the Grizzlies are second in the Western Conference. If the playoffs were to begin today, then the team would end up playing the Minnesota Timberwolves, who they played against last year. The Grizzlies have consistently been great this season, and there will be huge expectations in the postseason. Let us know what you thought of Ja Morant’s return, in the comments below. Ja Morant & His Daughter Quote NBA YoungBoy After Return To The Court

Ja Morant is one of the best players in the entire NBA. However, he has gotten into some trouble as of late, and it has kept him off of the court. The instance that truly hurt him though was when he flashed a gun on Instagram Live. This subsequently led to an eight-game suspension from the league. On Wednesday night, Morant was allowed to come back. His team was playing at home against the Houston Rockets, which means there was a solid chance he would secure a victory in his return. In the end, that is exactly what he and the Grizzlies did.

Although, it should be noted that Morant was coming off of the bench last night. This is due to the fact that he had been away from the team for some time. Either way, Morant found a way to make an impact immediately. He scored a total of 17 points in 24 minutes of action. This included a beautiful poster dunk that had the whole crowd on its feet. Overall, it was a great way for Morant to come back, and the fans appreciated his efforts.

Ja Morant Is Excited

After the game, Morant was interviewed on the court while he held his infant daughter. It was here where Morant quoted NBA YoungBoy lyrics. “It’s a parade inside my city yeah,” Ja Morant said with excitement on his face. Additionally, he had his daughter say it which made for a very cute moment. Ultimately, the excitement inside of Memphis is palpable, and for good reason. The Grizzlies are rolling right now and with the second seed in the Western Conference, the world is theirs.

Following this game, fans can expect Morant to start matches again. Head coach Taylor Jenkins was simply trying to get Ja acclimated to the system again, and it seems like he is ready for any challenge. Overall, this is great news for the Grizzlies, and their playoff campaign will be fun to watch. Let us know what you thought of last night’s game, in the comments below. Ja Morant Speaks at Practice: ‘I Never Had an Alcohol Problem’

Ja Morant Speaks at Practice: 'I Never Had an Alcohol Problem'

Ja Morant rejoined the Memphis Grizzlies at practice on Tuesday after his suspension, and he admitted he was a bit uncomfortable. After the practice, Morant had his first media availability with the wide press, and he ensured everyone knew that he did not have a drinking problem.

“I don’t got an alcohol problem, never had an alcohol problem,” Morant opened. “I didn’t go there for alcohol, I went there for counseling.”

Morant combatted the fact that he was said to be under the influence of alcohol by responding: “I went there to learn how to manage stress, cope with stress in a positive way instead of ways that I dealt with it before that caused mistakes.”

Shortly after announcing his suspension, Morant sat down with ESPN and Jalen Rose for a candid interview.

When asked about the gun incident in the strip club, Morant said that the gun was not his and he doesn’t condone any violence. “The gun wasn’t mine. It’s not who I am. I don’t condone any type of violence, but I’ve taken responsibility for my actions. But in the future, I’m going to show everybody who Ja really is, what I’m about, and change this narrative that everybody got.”

Ja added: “Obviously, he said things I need to be better at, but more of just showing his support towards me. I accepted that, and I also sent my apologies to everybody—to the league, myself, my teammates, my family for putting that negativity towards all of us with a bad decision.”

Morant went on to continue to apologize for his recent actions. “I used that as an escape, which I shouldn’t have. I feel like that’s the reason I made many bad decisions in my past, which doesn’t pretty much describe me, doesn’t describe Ja as a person. I’m a totally different person than what’s been shown in the media. That’s my job now. That’s why I took that time away, to become a better Ja, so everybody really can see who Ja really is and you know what he’s about.”

You can watch the interview here.

Ja Morant Responds To Alcoholism Rumors

Over the past few weeks, Ja Morant has been a key figure throughout the NBA. Overall, the narrative surrounding Morant hasn’t exactly been all that complimentary. This is due to the fact that Morant was suspended for eight games after flashing a gun on Instagram Live. Although he did not face any criminal charges, the NBA did not like what this did for its image. Moreover, this came at a time when Morant was being accused of other alleged instances of misconduct. Needless to say, it is easy to see why the NBA sat him down.

Now, however, Morant is going to be back on the floor as of Wednesday. The Memphis Grizzlies will be taking on the Houston Rockets in that game, and it should be an interesting return. That said, the media scrutiny around this game will be quite intense. Even now, Morant is already feeling it as numerous reporters swarmed him today after Grizzlies practice. During the scrum, Morant was asked about his recent visit to a counseling program in Florida. Below, you can see how he was even asked to address the rumors that he is an alcoholic.

Ja Morant Speaks Out

“I don’t have an alcohol problem,” Ja Morant said matter-of-factly. Overall, this is a rumor that materialized due to some viral videos of Morant drinking on a flight. The video seemed quite harmless, however, the internet decided to make a big thing about it. That is what the internet is good for these days, and Morant has been finding that out the hard way. Either way, it is good to hear this from him directly. You never want to see someone go down a dark bath such as alcohol abuse.

No matter what Morant does to close out the year, he will continue to be a big story. Fans are always drawn to negativity, and there are those who want to see that expand. However, most rational people just want Morant to succeed and have a prosperous time in the league, moving forward. Let us know what you think of all this, in the comments below. Ja Morant’s Return Timeline Gets Massive Update, Fans React

Ja Morant has been the biggest story in the entire NBA over the past few weeks. Overall, this is due to the fact that he flashed a gun on Instagram Live. He was subsequently suspended by the NBA for a total of eight games. Moreover, during the midst of this controversy, he was accused of threatening a teenager and a mall cop. These alleged instances had happened in the past, although they were definitely publicized quite a bit throughout this controversy.

Now, however, Morant is allowed back with the Memphis Grizzlies. Morant was reinstated by the league on Monday. That night, his team had a game against the Dallas Mavericks, although he did not play. Instead, the team wanted him to gradually get back into the swing of things, instead of just going full force back into the game. It was a solid decision that ultimately allowed Morant to have fun with his teammates yesterday. According to TMZ, head coach Taylor Jenkins even offered a nice update on Morant and what he did on Monday.

As Jenkins explained, Morant got to address the team on Monday, where he outlined his changed behaviors. Additionally, Jenkins suggested that Morant will likely return to the court on Wednesday, which is tomorrow. The Grizzlies are set to play the Houston Rockets in Memphis, so it’s the perfect time for Morant to return. He won’t be dealing with any of the vices from the road, and he will be playing a very easy opponent. No matter what, the Grizzlies fanbase will be happy to have him back.

This whole situation has been very stressful for Ja, the franchise, and of course, the fans. However, it seems like the matter has been resolved, at least for now. It will now be up to Morant to showcase that he has truly changed. Hopefully, this last stretch of the season goes off without any issues. Below, you can find what fans have to say about all of this.
