Draya Michele Identifies Baby Daddy Jalen Green As “My Man” While Sharing IG Post About Relationships

While the two share a child together, the dynamics of reality TV star and designer Draya Michele and NBA star Jalen Green‘s relationship has never been revealed. Michele may have provided fans with a hint over the weekend in her latest Instagram story that mentioned him in association with “My Man.” The shared post reads: “I don’t wanna ‘figure it out on my own’ I wanna CALL MY MAN.. y’all is crazy.” Under the repost by Rich Lashayy, Michele wrote, “Excuse me one sec… (Call Jalen).”

The story sent social media into a frenzy. Many refer to the assumed couple’s 16-year age gap in mixed comments. After Shade Room broke the news, One user wrote, “Gotta wait til he gets outta school at 3:45,” while another joked, “Dude still on his parents’ Blue Cross insurance.” While another user followed with, “She’s gonna call him, and he’s gonna tell her, ‘Hold up, let me ask my mama.’” A joke about health insurance received many likes. The comments remained constant, switching from age to healthcare to money. A user commented, “This is from a financial standpoint, guys,” while another added, “I mean, if you’re figuring out finances, it makes sense.” The jokes didn’t stop there. “Being 40 and asking a 20-year-old what to do is crazy,” another remarked, while someone else pointed out, “Shorty, you way older than him… he needs to call YOU.”

Spotted out on multiple occasions, with Draya attending Houston Rockets games. However, the two have kept their relationship low-profiled. Michele supported the news of Green receiving a new contract with the Houston Rockets last month, which led to a social media backlash. Used to high-profile relationships, Draya seems to be taking it all in stride, unbothered by the chatter surrounding her love life. Her or Green have responded to the comments at this time.

After 1,756 days and 15 consecutive losses, the Houston Rockets finally defeated the Golden State Warriors, edging them out 91-90 on Wednesday night to advance to the NBA Cup semifinals. The win marked Houston’s first victory over Golden State since February 20, 2020, breaking the league’s longest active losing streak against a single opponent.

Alperen Sengun led the Rockets with 26 points and 11 rebounds, powering Houston to a dramatic 9-1 run to close the game. Down six with two minutes left, the Rockets rallied, sparked by Fred VanVleet’s clutch three-pointer with 1:16 remaining. Sengun followed with a layup to bring Houston within one, setting up a critical sequence in the final seconds.

With 3.5 seconds left, Jalen Green hit two go-ahead free throws after a loose-ball foul on Golden State. On the Warriors’ final possession, Jabari Smith Jr. delivered the decisive block, sealing Houston’s first lead of the fourth quarter and the victory.

“It’s big growth for us,” Sengun said of Houston’s resilience. “Against a championship team, we finished the game good — that was great.”

Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 19 points but missed a pivotal three-pointer late. Buddy Hield, meanwhile, achieved a milestone, becoming the 17th player to reach 2,000 career three-pointers — doing so in just 656 games, second only to Curry’s 597.

The Rockets now head to Las Vegas to face the Oklahoma City Thunder in Saturday’s NBA Cup semifinals.

Fred VanVleet Addresses Drake’s DeMar DeRozan’s Diss

Houston Rocket’s Fred VanVleet commented on new Texan Drake‘s caution regarding the Toronto Raptors hanging Demar DeRozan‘s jersey in their rafters when he retires on Draymond Green’s podcast. Drake’s actions and comments toward DeRozan at Sacramento Kings against the Toronto Raptors last week went viral, with the Raptor’s ambassador claiming he would pull down Demar’s jersey should the team retire it with the organization. “If you put up a banner and, I’ll personally pull it down,” said Drizzy when asked about DeRozan by commentators.

A trending topic, Draymond asked VanVleet, a former Raptors player before signing a massive deal with the Rockets, if DeMar DeRozan, now playing for the Kings, can have his jersey retired with the Raptors. When asked about DeRozan’s retirement, Fred VanVleet said: “Yeah, I think it should. I think it should. I think that when you look at what he did, you know, especially when you want to give the history of the franchise and what Vince and all of those guys meant at the beginning and what that meant for Canadian basketball.”

Drake May Not Think So, But Fred Vanvleet Thinks DeRozan Can Be Retired In Toronto

Drake and Demar’s issues stem from the Compton-bred basketball star’s appearance in the music video for the Drizzy diss track “Not Like Us” by Kendrick Lamar. In previous interviews, Demar shared that he appeared in the video because of his West Coast roots but did not have an issue with Drake. Many believe that Drake lost the iconic clash against Kendrick Lamar with “Not Like Us,” which spawned an Amazon-presented concert that united Los Angeles hip-hop. Demar responded to Drake’s comment about retirement after the game by saying, “He going to have a long way to climb to take it down.”

VanVleet played for the Raptors from 2016 to 2023. Traded to the Rockets in 2023, Drizzy made headlines trolling Fred during a regular-season game against the Raptors. Drake refers to Fred as his “look-alike.” Hip-hop shared mixed reviews of Drake’s antics towards the basketball stars. Do you think Demar will retire in Toronto? Will the 6 God seriously rip down the jersey if Toronto hangs it in their rafters? Share your thoughts in the comments section below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Moreover, there are some who believe he is not ready to be the face of a franchise. That said, things have seemingly gone from bad to worse for the young man.

According to NBC New York, Porter Jr. was arrested after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend. The girlfriend in question is WNBA star Kysre Gondrezick. Houston Rockets Look To Trade Kenyon Martin Jr

Kenyon Martin Jr. is the latest NBA player to be linked with a trade this offseason. As the start of free agency approaches, more and more news is emerging about the various plans of some of the league’s biggest stars. June 30 began with indications that a deal to send James Harden to the Clippers was in the works. Meanwhile, Kyrie Irving has gone from one team interested in him to at least six. One of those teams is the Houston Rockets, who are now looking to potentially trade Martin.

Kenyon Martin Jr. played in 82 games this season, starting 49 of them. He averaged a per-game line of 12.5/5.5/1.5. That left him 6th on the Rockets in points per game and 4th in rebounds per game. Taken in the second round of the 2020 draft, Martin Jr. took some major leaps forward in his most recent season. It may be that massive improvement that has the Rockets seeing him as a valuable trade piece.

Rockets Look To Cash In On Martin Jr

Per Kelly Iko of The Athletic, trade talks surrounding Martin Jr. has increased in recent days. “To be clear, Martin has not requested a trade since this time last season. But with Houston still seeking avenues to improve their financial flexibility heading into July, Martin’s combination of age, upside and salary makes him an attractive candidate on the market.” Furthermore, the Rockets drafted Villanova SF Cam Whitmore in the first round of the draft. Whitmore’s slide to #20 was one of the biggest surprises of the draft. However, the reality of the situation is that Martin would be battling for minutes with the highly-touted rookie.

Furthermore, as mentioned, trading Martin Jr. is just one of the many threads linked to Houston. It appears that new head coach Ime Udoka is looking to build a blend of balance and youth as the Rockets attempt to finalize their rebuild. The Rockets have their stable of young stars – Whitmore, Alperen Sengun, Jabari Smith Jr., Amen Thompson, Jalen Green, etc. However, they have also been linked to a number of big-name veterans. These include Kyrie Irving, Fred VanVleet, and Dillon Brooks. It appears that the Rockets are going to been one of the most interesting teams to watch in the coming weeks.
