K. Michelle Disagrees With The Bible’s Take On Homosexuality

K. Michelle has never shied away from proclaiming her faith as a Christian, but evidently, the Memphis-born performer doesn’t agree with everything the Bible preaches. Earlier this week, she was chatting with her followers on Instagram Live when she began to discuss homosexuality, and what the religious text says about it. According to her, she’s not buying the notion that loving someone of the same sex is a one-way ticket to hell while murderers can get off scot-free.

“You’re not supposed to be this in the Bible, you’re not supposed to be gay and this and that, I don’t believe that,” she begins in a clip from the stream. “I don’t believe that you’re not supposed to be gay in the Bible… I just don’t believe that.

K. Michelle Defends Her Stance

The country icon then went on to stress that people are supposed to be themselves. “People are supposed to be what they are on the inside,” she explained. “No sin sends you to hell! Okay, it’s okay for you to kill a person but it ain’t okay for you to be gay? Like, I don’t believe that. You can be gay and you can be who you are.” While K. Michelle’s hot take has sparked a bit of a debate among social media users, she stands by it, taking to The Neighborhood Talk‘s comments section to defend her stance.

“You’re free to believe what you want that’s the beauty of life,” she wrote in part earlier today. “I love the lord and that’s who I worship. I don’t have a heaven or hell to put anyone in it’s not for me to judge. Who are you to judge someone cause they sin differently from you. My relationship with God is mine and it is strong.” What do you think of K. Michelle denouncing the Bible’s take on homosexuality? Do you agree with her? Dee-1 Says He Was Offered Record Deal In Exchange For “Homosexual Acts”

Dee-1 has been making headlines in recent months for calling out major players in the music industry. He’s gone after the likes of Rick Ross, Jim Jones, Meek Mill, and more. The Christian rapper frequently accuses his peers of contributing to “violence” and other harmful behavior, also urging them to change their ways to promote positivity. He’s now made yet another attention-grabbing statement about the industry, claiming that he was asked to take part in sexual acts in exchange for record deals.

During a recent conversation with The Art of Dialogue, Dee-1 was asked whether or not he feels as though there are “gatekeepers” in hip-hop. His response was pretty shocking, to say the least. According to the Louisiana-born performer, he’s stuck to his beliefs despite opportunities to have doors in his career opened for him.

Dee-1 Discusses “Gatekeepers” In The Music Industry

“Bro I’ve had gatekeepers in the music industry who have literally tried to hold a record deal behind their back and let me know like, ‘Look, if you a part of this homosexual act that I’m tryna take part in? Yeah, come on! This door’ll open real quick for you.’ I got a song where I’ve talked about that before called ‘The Devil’s Playground,’” he explained. “This is real, dog. And the only way that type of stuff can work on you is if you let them have all the leverage to where you want what’s behind that gate that bad. So that’s a real thing.”

Dee-1’s comments put him at odds with Joe Budden last month, who accused the “I Know God” artist of clout-chasing. Dee-1 fired back by calling Budden an “easy target.” He also claimed that he recorded a diss track, though he says he won’t drop it for his own good. What do you think of Dee-1 claiming that he was asked to take part in “homosexual acts” for record deals? What about him claiming that he’s refused to bow down to the “gatekeepers” of hip-hop? Barack Obama Reportedly Spoke About Daily Gay Fantasies In 1982 Letter To Ex-Girlfriend

A letter that President Barack Obama wrote to his ex-girlfriend in 1982 has made some major revelations about the former commander-in-chief’s sexuality. “In regard to homosexuality, I must say that I believe this is an attempt to remove oneself from the present. A refusal perhaps to perpetuate the endless farce of earthly life. You see, I make love to men daily, but in the imagination,” Obama wrote. The letter was sent to Alex McNear, his girlfriend while studying at Occidental College. “My mind is androgynous to a great extent. And I hope to make it more so until I can think in terms of people, not women as opposed to men. But, in returning to the body, I see that I have been made a man, and physically in life, I choose to accept that contingency.”

Originally, McNear had redacted the more salacious parts of the letter, which is currently in the possession of Emory University. However, Obama biographer David Garrow had a friend transcribe the letter by hand and send him a copy. This had to be done as Emory does not allow photos of the letter. Furthermore, Garrow defended what the former President wrote. “I’m a historian, not a psychologist. But I think it’s ‘public record’ news that a (vast?) majority of human beings have sexual fantasies!” he said via email to The Post.

Obama’s “Gay Letter” Resurfaces

People are discussing the letter after it was mentioned in an interview by Garrow. He wrote the 1400-page biography, Rising Star: The Making Of Barack Obama, in 2017. “So when Alex showed me the letters from Barack, she redacted one paragraph in one of them and just said, ‘It’s about homosexuality,’” Garrow told Tablet. “So I emailed Harvey [Klehr], said, ‘Go to the Emory archives.’ He’s spent his whole life at Emory, but they won’t let him take pictures. So Harvey has to sit there with a pencil and copy out the graph where Barack writes to Alex about how he repeatedly fantasizes about making love to men.” Garrow further noted that Obama was something of a “sex machine” after moving to New York to attend Columbia.

Garrow also painted comparisons between Obama and his successor, Donald Trump. “I’ve sometimes said to people that I think Barack is actually just as insecure as Trump. But in ways that are not readily perceived by the vast majority of people,” he said. “I think that’s probably my most basic takeaway. [Obama] has no interest in building the Democratic Party as an institution. I think that’s obvious. “And I don’t think he had any truly deep, meaningful policy commitments other than the need to feel and to be perceived as victorious, as triumphant.”
