DJ Akademiks & Saucy Santana Continue Firing Shots At One Another

DJ Akademiks and Saucy Santana continued going at it with one another on social media, Monday afternoon, amid their ongoing feud. Santana came at Akademiks after he dragged him into his other beef with Yung Miami. Akademiks had accused Miami of perpetuating homophobia despite being friends with Santana.

In his latest livestream, Akademiks began by attempting to clarify that he’s on good terms with the LGBTQ community but that no one like Saucy Santana “can talk to me.” From there, he says he’d spit in his face. “Me and you couldn’t even have a conversation., “Akademiks remarked. “You’re a cocks*cker n***a. We don’t talk to n****s like you.” He added that Santana needs to “get right with God.” Before ending, he told Santana to pull up to his headquarters.

“‘Pull up to your headquarters?’” Santana began in response, before saying that he’s in the “streets.” He added: “What the f*ck is somebody meeting you at your headquarters for? That’s the problem. See, I’m starting to think this is your aesthetic. You do the fake internet sh*t and you sit in a room full of motherf*cking cameras and try to make a b*tch crash out.” Later, he threatens “After I beat you, I’ma f*ck you in your ass.” Check out both Santana and Akademiks’ posts below.

Boosie Badazz Claims He Turned Down $250k To Perform At An LGBTQ Event

Boosie Badazz says he once shot down an offer of $250,000 to perform at an event in support of the LGBTQ community. Recalling the offer during a recent interview with The Danza Project, Boosie explained that accepting would’ve gone against his beliefs.

“Companies don’t wanna mess with me for the things I speak about. It’s a lot of losses and it’s a lot of gains also. But I’m not being real for money,” Boosie said. “If that’s the case, I can sell my soul for anything. I’ve been offered a quarter-million to go to perform at LGBT community things, big money. I told them I have nothing against it at all, but that’s not what I push and that’s not what I believe in.”

In addition to losing out on the $250,000, Boosie’s homophobia has also resulted in numerous public feuds over the years. He once called Lil Nas X a slur while telling the then-22-year-old to kill himself. Boosie was upset with Nas’ 2021 performance at that year’s BET Awards, during which he kissed another man. He has also had beef with Gabrielle Union, calling out the actress for supporting her transgender daughter.

Boosie Badazz On Turning Down Offer To Support LGBTQ Community

Despite the numerous incidents and his latest remarks, Boosie has claimed not to be homophobic. Appearing on My Expert Opinion, back in June, he argued that much of the drama has been taken out of context. “People have to understand that it’s not the same stroke for the same folk,” he said. “My fuckin’ assistant manager is gay as fuck. Like, bruh. I don’t know where people get that from. He understands me, he know I don’t have any ill will towards those people. He deals with money, he deals with business. It ain’t never looked at like that. I trust gay people more than I trust regular people.”

Sneako And Lil Pump Kicked Out Of Top Golf After Disrespecting Staff Member

Sneako is once again in hot water. The controversial streamer was doing a stream at a Top Golf with Lil Pump when his party was asked to leave by a staff member. It’s unclear what caused them to be removed. However, the staff member appeared to imply that it was the filming and general disruption they had been causing. Furthermore, Sneako appeared to make things worse when he tried to claim that his cameraman wasn’t with them. Additionally, he claimed that he had been making homophobic comments. As the staff member left, Neon and the unseen cameraman made a number of homophobic comments about the man. The group called him a “gay ass fuck” and said that he “just needed some dick”.

It’s not the only controversy that Sneako has encountered this week. Earlier in the week, a clip went viral on social media of Sneako meeting some of his fans. As he signs autographs and takes pictures with the young boys, the literal children can be heard making incredibly sexist, homophobic, and transphobic remarks. Sneako can be shooting the camera a smug little surprised face. Sneako is open about his disgust and hatred towards the LGBT community. However, it’s also clear just how impactful his vile views are on his incredibly young audience. This, mind you, is a man who once asked a girl “just how underage are you?” on a livestream after hitting on her and being told she was underage.

Sneako Continues Trend Of Hateful Speech

Every week is feels like Sneako or one of his crew has made another incredibly hateful comment. Just a few weeks ago, Sneako and Adin Ross were hanging out with Jake Paul. During their livestream, Sneako asked Paul “how many genders there are”. Paul repsonded, “three – male, female, and mentally ill.” It’s a nasty little interaction that certainly got a fair amount of backlash.

However, it remains to be seen what Sneako will do next. His various transphobic and homophobic comments are starting to attract more and more attention. Various LGBT organizations and news outlets are starting to focus more and more of their content on the concerning impact that he has on his very young audience. Despite this, it’s unlikely that Sneako is going to change his ways anytime soon. After all, for every person who criticizes his content, there will be several literal children validating him.

Beyonce Offers Tribute To Fan Killed In Alleged Homophobic Attack

Beyonce is currently on the RENAISSANCE tour where she recently got to perform in Massachusetts. Overall, this concert proved to be an interesting one thanks to the fact that she seemingly addressed the Erykah Badu and Lizzo drama. As always, she put on a fantastic performance, and fans were grateful to witness it. Unfortunately, in the midst of this, the Beyhive is currently mourning the loss of O’Shae Sibley, a Beyonce fan who was recently stabbed and killed in Brooklyn.

For those who don’t know the story, Sibley was reportedly at a gas station, dancing to a song off RENAISSANCE. Subsequently, a group of men came up to him and it led to a violent confrontation. Sibley was stabbed and eventually died in hospital. It was incredibly tragic, with many deeming this a homophobic hate crime. Following the incident, Beyonce updated her website with a message, saying “”Rest in Power O’Shae Sibley.”

Otis Pena, a friend of Sibley, spoke about the incident after it took place. They were clearly heartbroken over the incident, and understandably so. The message was a powerful one, and it’s hard not to be moved by it. “They murdered him because he’s gay, because he stood up for his friends,” Pena said. “His name was O’Shae and you all killed him. O’Shae was just a beacon of light that just influenced everybody. We may be gay, but we exist. We’re not going to live in fear. We’re not going to live hiding.”

Hopefully, Sibley eventually gets the justice that he ultimately deserves. This was a horrible act, and our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time. Stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will always keep you informed of the biggest news from the biggest artists.

Kyle Kuzma Posts Hug Picture With Michael Rubin

Because the world is a puritanical hellscape that hates gay people and upholds rampant toxic masculinity, people are very upset at Lil Baby right now. During Michael Rubin’s Fourth of July party, a photo emerged of Lil Baby enjoying a group hug with a couple of dudes. The internet got very weird about this, saying things like “It’s normalizing the gay agenda”. 50 Cent even got in on the action, proclaiming that he was very confused and upset about the picture of a consensual hug that he was not involved in. Boosie Badazz later took some subtweet potshots at Fif over his outrage.

For his part, Lil Baby went all in on “huggate”, posting from Rubin’s private jet, where he loudly promised Meek Mill and others “drunken hugs in Vegas”. Not to editorialize too much but there is nothing wrong with dudes hugging dudes. You are more than welcome to not hug the dudes in your life. However, if your anti-dude hugging is strong that you have to object to other dudes hugging their dudes, that sounds like a you problem. Regardless, now Kyle Kuzma is getting in one the fun.

Taking to his Instagram story, Washington Wizards centerpiece Kyle Kuzma showed that he was not afraid of the dude hug. “We can always hug my brotha,” Kuzma wrote over a picture of him hugging Rubin. Kuzma also added three sobbing emojis and tagged Rubin. The picture was reshared by DJ Akademiks, where the comments were predictably trash. “Those lil baby photos worse than gunna snitching”, “Next thing you know, they gonna normalize kissing. It’s all part of the agenda”, and “They not even trying to hide this gay shi anymore smh”.

But why does any of this matter? Why should we care that some people are upset about the very normal action of some dudes hugging? Because at the end of the day, angry bigots online are just the tip of the iceberg. According to the ACLU, they are tracking 491 active bills in state legislatures that can be described as anti-LGBTQ+. A separate anti-trans bill tracker claims to be tracking 561 bills in state legislatures. The fundamental right of LGBTQ+ people to simply exist is under attack. If we allow for there to be a “both sides” argument about whether it’s okay for two heterosexual men to platonically hug, we are allowing the door to remain open for bigotry. This is two men hugging because they are friends. And yet people feel comfortable enough to say that it’s part of some sort of LGBTQ+ “agenda”.

Justin Bieber’s Dad Doubles Down On Homophobia

In now-deleted tweets, Jeremy Bieber, father of Justin Bieber, decided to vent his frustrations about Pride Month. Bieber shared a meme of a rainbow with the caption, “Don’t forget to thank a straight person this month for your existence.” He also tweeted that people “need to celebrate families” and that “U know the reason we’re all here! The things this generation glorifies is unbelievable!.” Unsurprisingly, Bieber’s homophobic ravings went down like a lead balloon.

Jeremy has since pinned a 2018 tweet that reads “Family isn’t an important thing, it’s everything!.” Meanwhile, most of Twitter has been joking that he’s an irrelevant “nepo parent”. However, seemingly having not learned his lesson, Jeremy decided to try and clarify his comments by being a whole lot more homophobic.

Jeremy Bieber Digs Him Into A Homophobic Hole

In another now-deleted tweet, Bieber lamented that “I didn’t expect to be thrown into this political arena, but I’m being forced in. Insensitive perhaps but a bigot I am not! #buckleup #truths,” which is a weird thing to say about the voluntary tweets he made. “Love whomever you want that’s your business not ‘mine’ my problem is the hostile takeover of our cities and schools by LGBTQ this is the concern of many,” he continued. To clarify, there is zero evidence for a “hostile takeover” of “cities and schools” by “LGBTQ”. In fact, quite the opposite is true. The ACLU reports that there are 491 anti-LGBTQ bills that have been filed across 46 states in 2023 alone. When people talk about an LGBTQ invasion, they are usually referring to a willingness to acknowledge that LGBTQ exists.

Now, we shouldn’t bash Jeremy too hard. However, it takes some mental gymnastics of gold medal-caliber to fuck up apologizing this badly. Furthermore, Jeremy’s bravery should be applauded. This man is out here promoting the importance of family when he has four children by three women. Furthermore, he has been accused of being a deadbeat dad on multiple occasions. Additionally, he’s not the only Canadian having a bad Pride Month. The Toronto Blue Jays DFA’d pitcher Anthony Bass just one day after announcing that Bass, who had made similar homophobic comments earlier in the year, would catch the first pitch at the team’s Pride game.

DaBaby Reflects On 2021 Homophobia Controversy

DaBaby is something of a controversial figure in the rap community but nothing stands out more than his beef with the LGBTQ+ community in 2021. While performing at Rolling Loud, DaBaby launched into a homophobic rant on stage. “If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up,” he told attendees. “Ladies, if your pussy smell like water, put your cellphone lighter up. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking dick in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up,” the rapper told the crowd.

Days later, DaBaby appeared to double down on his comments. “My gay fans, they take care of themselves. They ain’t no nasty gay n—as. See what I’m saying? They ain’t no junkies in the street. The hell you talking about, n—as? Then I said if you ain’t sucking dick in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up. You know what my gay fans did? Put that motherfucking light up, n—a, ’cause my gay fans ain’t going for that. They got class. They ain’t sucking no dick in no parking lot.” While he later issued an apology, he then turned around and dropped a music video that included him using “AIDS” in a lyric and also a visual that read “My apologies for being me the same way you want the freedom to be you.”

DaBaby Admits He Should Have Handled Things Differently But Doesn’t Denounce His Comments

Music professionals came out both in support of and opposition to DaBaby at the time of the controversy. While the likes of Boosie, T.I., and Nick Cannon defended the rapper, he was condemned by the likes of Dua Lipa, Demi Lovato, Elton John, QuestLove, and Madonna. DaBaby did eventually formally apologize on Instagram in early August, but fans noted that the apology was deleted less than a week later. Additionally, DaBaby was dropped from several festivals prior to his apology.

However, nearly two years later, DaBaby has once again spoken up about the controversy. Appearing on The Shop Uninterrupted, DaBaby was asked if he would handle the controversy differently if he could. “Absolutely,” DaBaby began, “That’s what came out my own mouth and said as of late, not even as of late, I would maybe handled it the way he handled it. I apologized but I didn’t mean to apologize because I’m this type of person. I’m gonna fight to the tooth and nail, like if I, you know what I mean? My character and my intentions – that’s something I am never going to let you make me out, I’m not a bad person. I’m unfaltering on that.” While it is a sign of change in the rapper’s mentality since 2021, his comments on The Shop weren’t exactly a denouncement of his hateful comments in 2021.
