Joey Bada$$ Calls Out Disney For Kicking Out His Autistic Cousin Over Mask Policy

Joey Bada$$ announced he is “never coming back to Disney again,” on social media Saturday after the resort turned away his autistic cousin who was refusing to wear a mask. He explained that his cousin, an autistic child, could not comprehend the importance of mask-wearing.

With a statement, Bada$$ uploaded a video of himself confronting three Disney employees apparently responsible for his cousin being kicked out of the resort.

“Here’s Luis, Cameron, and Kaitlyn and they just turned away an autistic child at Disney World because he didn’t want to wear his mask,” Bada$$ wrote in the caption. “The child thinks the mask is suffocating, the child also has no idea why it is even a requirement. Not to mention that, kids under 2, doesn’t have to wear a mask. These guys have completely ruined my family’s trip. We came out here 30+ for my daughters’ bday and they turned my lil cousin away, can’t even enjoy this experience anymore.

Disney’s coronavirus safety policy mandates that children younger than 2 years old are the only exception to their mask requirement. Eating and drinking are the only other points when guests are allowed to remove their masks.

“The doctors told me that I had five to 10 minutes,” Lovato tells CBS’ Tracy Smith. “Like, if no one had found me, then I wouldn’t be here. And I’m grateful that I’m sitting here today.”

Lovato previously appeared on CBS Sunday Morning back in 2016, and of that time in her life, she says she had no control: “I was probably 24 when we did the interview. I’m in recovery for a bunch of things and I had been sober for how many years, but I’m still miserable. For the first time in my life, I had to essentially die to wake up.

“I didn’t control any of my life at that period of time. But, yes, I also needed to grow up and take control. And that’s something I haven’t done until the past two years of my life, which is [why] I’m now in control of my finances. I’m now in control of … the food that I eat, how often I work out.”

Fans will be able to stream Lovato’s next album, Dancing With the Devil… The Art of Starting Over, on April 2nd.

OFB BandoKay & Double Lz Deliver The “Drill Commandments”

The UK drill scene has continued to make waves on an international level but it’s the homegrown talent in London that keeps the subgenre exciting. There’s plenty of names that have popped up but it’s the OFB clique that has continued to dominate. Double Lz and BandoKay have worked with each other on numerous occasions over the years but finally, they’ve joined forces for a brand new collaborative project. The two rappers delivered Drill Commandments on Friday. The project is fourteen songs in length with appearances from Mowgs, Loski, Akz, Dezzie, Dsavv, Izzpot, and OFB affiliate Abra Cadabra. Filled with hard-hitting sinister production, and menacing bars, DoubleLz and BandoKay’s latest project should definitely be kept on rotation for the weeks to come.

Tay Money Taps Flo Milli For The Cheeky Track “Asthma Pump”

Tay Money has just unleashed her lighthearted, cheeky Dr. Luke produced single  “Asthma Pump.” She recruited the help of Alabama newcomer Flo Milli, who has been a noticeable force in the industry since her breakthrough hit “In the Party.” She’s since gone on to release her well-received debut project Ho, Why is you here?

Lyrically, the song insinuates that the artists’ lady parts should come with an asthma pump on deck due to the type of results engaging in sexual activity with them may cause. The song is cleverly complete with actual audio of people struggling to catch their breath, honing in the song’s NSFW message.

Alongside the single, the duo unleashed an 80s workout-inspired video to deliver the song’s cheeky message. The Texas rapper has stayed pretty active in the visual department this year, continuing her streak with the new video. She has been dating videographer Cole Bennett since 2019.

Check “Asthma Pump” out below and let us know what you think of the track down in the comments.

Quotable Lyrics:

That shit like bow, ayy (Bow)
Open it up, he like, “Wow” (Wow)
Tay Money tricks, I’ll show them around (Ooh)
You could eat this by the pound
He like how it feel, he love how it sound

BlocBoy JB Compares Himself To Eazy E On “Up” Freestyle

It’s only been a few months since the release of BlocBoy JB’s last single but as usual, he’s back to flooding the streets. Despite having a top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100, the rapper continues to hustle and put out music at any given time without much of a warning. Oftentimes, they are accompanied by music videos, even if it’s a short freestyle.

This week, the rapper returned with a quick freestyle over Cardi B’s latest top 10 single, “Up.” BlocBoy kicks off the freestyle with a shout-out to N.W.A and Eazy E before gliding into the upbeat production with his signature gun talk.

BlocBoy JB released his last project, FatBoy ft. G Herbo, NLE Choppa, and more last fall. Check his new freestyle over Cardi’s hit below.

Quotable Lyrics
I be leanin’, I be swervin’
Connected like it’s WiFi
I just got ’em gone overnight
Called it a red eye
Still remember them days I was whippin’ chickens at Popeyes
After I was makin’ plays, I was servin’ n***as on the north side

Air Jordan 3 “Georgetown” Release Date Unveiled

For the second year in the row, Nike’s Jordan Brand has unveiled a pair of college-themed Jordan 3s in honor of the March Madness tournament. Last year’s “UNC” Jordan 3 was originally aligned to the 2020 tournament that was subsequently canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For this year, the brand added a Hoyas-themed offering for the March Madness occasion. The Air Jordan 3 “Georgetown” arrived this Saturday, March 20th at select sneaker retailers.

The kicks arrive in a Midnight Navy, Cement Grey and White colorway, pointing to a classic “Black Cement” colorway often used by the brand. While the school served as inspiration for the design of the kicks, the school’s likeness in the kicks is not actually all that apparent. The university’s emblem or mascot makes no appearance on the show, not even on the tongue. Rather, the shoe features classical Jordan branding such as Jumpman embroideries and symbols at tongue and back.

The homage arrives by way of the “Midnight Navy” colorway, which matches the Georgetown signatures very closely. The grey cement and leath details further complete the look.

ZillaKami Releases Heavy Banger “CHAINS”

There are few artists who’ve bridged the gap between metal and rap as well as ZillaKami and SosMula. The pair have undoubtedly influenced the rap game, even if they aren’t household names. They continue to flood the streets with new music as much as they can, both as solo artists and as City Morgue, who dropped off their album TOXIC BOOGALOO last summer.

This week, ZillaKami returned with a hard-hitting, head-banging anthem titled, “CHAINS.” The metal influence seeps through the production with crashing drums and distorted guitars while ZillaKami’s scream-rap stylings detail everything affinity for firearms to the array of vehicles he’s acquired.

Check out the latest offering from ZillaKami below and sound off in the comment section with your feelings on his latest track.

Quotable Lyrics
Hangin’ out the whip with your homie’s fuckin’ killa
With the same clip that got the n***a did up
