DMX Receives Tribute From “Ruff Ryders” Biker Gang

DMX’s Ruff Ryders label is an iconic entity in the world of hip-hop and it has expanded to become a brand that many throughout the world recognize. Even the logo for Ruff Ryders is something that is instantly recognizable and hip-hop fans continue to hold it in very high regard. This is especially true given the unfortunate set of circumstances surrounding DMX right now. He is currently in the hospital in critical condition following a drug overdose and many throughout the world are praying that he pulls through.

In fact, according to reporter Lisa Evers, the Ruff Ryders Biker Gang has pulled up to White Plains Hospital in New York, where they are showing solidarity and support for the artist. Many of the bikers are wearing Ruff Ryders merch and many have signs that express well wishes for the rapper.

As it stands, the bikers are still at the hospital going strong, all while more continue to roll in. Of all the tributes we have seen this weekend, this is by far one of the most touching, and we hope all of X’s loved ones are able to see it.

Fousheé And Justin Bieber Carry This Week’s “R&B Season” Playlist

This week’s R&B season playlist has all the good vibes you need to get you through another long week, and some of our favorites come from Justin Bieber and Fousheé.

Bieber’s new album Justice has received a lot of attention since its release, some good and some bad. Some were angry at the pop star for using Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. samples, which he asserts was just to spread a positive message. Aside from the controversy, “Peaches,” which features Giveon and Daniel Caesar, made history after it became the #1 song alongside Justin’s #1 album, making Bieber the first male solo artist to do this.

Fousheé came through this week with “gold fronts,” which features rap legend Lil Wayne. The mellowed-out track is a huge feature for Fousheé despite not even having an album out yet, as the R&B singer gained popularity for her song “Deep End,” which went viral on TikTok.

Gallant also holds a spot on the playlist for his track “Comeback,” which comes off of his new project Neptune. Gallant has been a major figure in R&B for the last few years, but this new release really shows off the breadth of his abilities as an artist. Smooth vocals and a sensual beat shine through on “Comeback,” and the track is certainly not one to be missed.

Check out this week’s update to the R&B Season playlist below and be sure to subscribe to HNHH on Spotify.

6ix9ine Admits He’s Been Unhappy: “Fame & Money Mean Nothing To Me”

Tekashi 6ix9ine is indisputably one of the most controversial figures in hip-hop history. Ever since his high-profile federal RICO case that he walked away from with minimal jail time by cutting a deal with the feds, the derogatory “snitch” label has been attached to his image. He’s landed in many pubic feuds with other rappers since his release, continuing to shift public favor away from him. In a moment of vulnerability, the rapper opened up about struggling to find happiness lately.

Sharing footage of himself in the Dominican Republic on Saturday (April 3) with an associate handing out cash and posing with fans, he offered a bit of transparency to fans about where he’s been.  To all my fans I love you … I’m sorry I been away from music,” began the rapper in the caption of the post.

He went on to confess, “In all reality I’m not happy. The fame and the money doesn’t mean anything to me because it doesn’t bring me joy. I say all this because when your chasing your dreams in life remember God comes first.”

Never lose sight of that. He blesses you in life because he sees the good in your heart and with that blessing you learn to bless others. I will continue my journey to find happiness within myself and find the joy I once had,” finished the Brooklyn native.

Usually one to be incredibly active on social media, his last post on Instagram was in early March. He also has stayed out of getting into it with other artists online, which makes sense with the revelation.

His first and only single of the year “ZAZA” arrived in February and he’s yet to release a follow-up since. Do you think 6ix9ine could possibly be hinting at stepping out of the public eye for good? Let us know down in the comments.

Kodak Black Eats A Fish Eyeball For Good Luck

Kodak Black effectively doubles as both an entertaining media personality and a skilled lyricist. When he’s not busy cooking up hits in the studio, you can usually find him getting into some antic well documented on his social media platforms. It seems to have been a pretty eventful Easter weekend for the Pompano native, who unleashed his fiery new single “Easter In Miami,” and also debuted a new haircut. He also ate a fish eyeball while having Easter dinner, sharing footage of the ordeal he explains will bring him good luck.

The 23-year-old rapper uploaded videos to his Instagram story of the exact moments he faced the fish eyes. Gripping the fish in his hand, he explained, “Imma just go ahead and smack the whole head,” before biting down. He can be seen tussling with the fish’s skull a bit, shimmying it around to suck both eyeballs out as onlookers in the background watched in awe.

A wave of “Boy, you nasty as hell!” can be heard in the backdrop by his associates, all of which are ignored by Kodak as he finished off the second eyeball.

After successfully eating the fish, Kodak proudly flexes the empty fish eye-sockets, exclaiming at the end, “Good luck to me!”

He added in a separate post, “They say you eat the fish eyeball fa good luck… well.” Kodak has had pretty good fortune in the past few months, so it makes sense his desire to continue this streak.
