Now that he’s out of the Oval Office, former President Donald Trump has a new set of legal issues. The controversial leader has once again become a hot topic across social media platforms after CNN reported that the Trump Organization will now be investigated in a “criminal capacity.” The investigation into the Trump Organization was reportedly first launched in 2019 to determine whether or not it “misled lenders and insurance companies” regarding property values. Authorities also wanted to determine if the company “paid the appropriate taxes.” The former President’s tax returns are also a part of the investigation.

What began as a civil case has been changed and it’s stated that New York Attorney General Letitia James will now be working in partnership with Manhattan’s district attorney’s office. “We have informed the Trump Organization that our investigation into the organization is no longer purely civil in nature,” a spokesman for James told CNN.

“We are now actively investigating the Trump Organization in a criminal capacity, along with the Manhattan DA,” he continued. “We have no additional comment.” Trump has previously complained about the investigation, calling himself a political target. There have been repeated calls for Trump to release or share his tax returns and according to CNN, this investigation has found many of Trump’s relatives, including his children, as well as his employees’ records under close scrutiny.

Some fans will do just about anything to obtain just a piece of their favorite artist. We’ve seen auction blocks rake in millions from selling items such as poems, letters, silverware, vehicles, furniture, and clothing from the rich and famous, but recently, it was six strands of hair that captured the attention of Nirvana fans.

It was back in 1994 when Nirvana icon Kurt Cobain lost his life in a reported suicide—an event that has gone down in conspiracy theory history. As fans worldwide continue to debate whether or not the “Smells Like Teen Spirit” artist was murdered or took his own life, one lucky person has recently purchased a few strands of the late singer’s hair for an exorbitant amount of money.

According to TMZ, six strands of Cobain blond locks were sold by Iconic Auctions for $14,145. The approximately 2.5-inch strands were reportedly snipped as Cobain received a haircut during his 1989 “Bleach” tour. The singer was reportedly getting his hair trimmed by his friend Tessa Osbourne and the winning bidder also took home photos from the meet-up. In the picture, Osbourne poses alongside Cobain while holding his hair in her hand.

It’s reported that Osbourne gave the strands to a Seattle artist before that person handed them over to a “historic hair” collector. Last June, one of Cobain’s guitars fetched over $6 million at auction. If you’re into looking at famous people’s hair strands, you can check out a photo below.

There’s a lot more coming from Kenya Barris and it’s causing quite the stir. Black-ish creators have recently announced that the eighth season of the series will be it’s last, but that doesn’t mean that the “ish” train is slowing its engine. We’ve already received the Grown-ish spinoff as well as Mixed-ish, which is also ending after two seasons.

The latest “ish” to be announced is reportedly Brown-ish, a series that Kenya Barris is reportedly creating with the help of Eva Longoria. “Brown-ish is still a concept that is in development, we haven’t rolled out the firm plans around that yet,” ABC Chief Craig Erwich told Deadline. There were also rumors of Old-ish, a series that would be centered on Laurence Fishburne and Jenifer Lewis’s characters. “On old-ish, we have no current plans to make it as a pilot.”

Although Brown-ish is just in development, the very news of the series caused an uproar on social media. Some people complained that the show would only feature White Latinos, while others still haven’t forgiven Longoria for saying during election season, “You saw in Georgia what Black women have done, but Latina women were the real heroines here.”

Often, we’re hit with news about rappers making unlikely business moves, and Lil Jon is the latest to take the Rap game by surprise. He’s known for getting the party started with any one of his several hits that have gone down in music history as classics, but Page Six reports that he’s gotten himself into the home renovations game. According to the outlet, Lil Jon now has his own show on HGTV titled, Lil Jon Wants To Do What?

The megaproducer’s series will feature him offering “skeptical homeowners startlingly unconventional renovation ideas that seem impossible to execute.”

“His undaunted team can take Lil Jon’s creative vision — to maximize features that homeowners overlook or never considered — and make it a reality,” reports HGTV. The show will reportedly make its premiere during the summer months and production has been filming in Atlanta.

“I love walking into someone’s house and turning it upside down. When people hear my name, they automatically think… fun!” said Jon in a statement. “That same energy goes for my designs as well. I don’t love following design trends — I would rather be the trendsetter.” Of course, we’re expecting an onslaught of “What!?” and “Okay!” shoutouts. It’s unclear if Lil Jon will feature any of his famous friends on the series, but we’d hope so.

The Bay Area music scene is mourning the tragic loss of one of its own. There has been a string of gun-related deaths in the Hip Hop community for decades, but the increasing number of losses in recent years has given artists and leaders within the scene pause. This latest news regarding rapper Mike Darole, reported father of three, comes directly from his loved ones who set up a GoFundMe to help his young children.

“On May 15th, 2021 we tragically lost Michael’s life due to gun violence as he was walking his dog outside of his family home,” the description in the GoFundMe reads.

Darole has reportedly been with his girlfriend for 12 years and has been working at his Rap career for nearly two decades. “Michael had a contagious laugh and smile and always wanted to see the people around him happy,” GoFundMe continued. “His passion for his music and lyrics made him loved and adored by his many thousands of fans across the world. Michael was a loving father who always made sure that his children were provided for and taken care of, they were the light of his world and what kept him motivated to succeed in every career venture that he took; from music to his own clothing line, he did it all for his family.”

“Michael will be deeply missed and his memory will live forever.” According to reports, Darole was walking his dog when someone attempted to rob him in the street. He fought his assailant before gunfire rang out. Darole was reportedly shot six times and although rescue efforts were attempted, his injuries were too severe.

Back in 2015, Darole was shot several times and shared an image of himself on social media as he recovered in the hospital. “I thank the man above for this second chance,” Darole wrote at the time.
