Nia Riley Reacts To Soulja Boy On “Verzuz” & Says She Stayed Offline “Most Of The Day”

The Verzuz between Soulja Boy and Bow Wow went off without a hitch, and it has been praised among Hip Hop fans as one of the most entertaining thus far, but it almost didn’t go down so smoothly. We watched as the matchup between the longtime friends finally took place on a Los Angeles stage, and while there were plenty of epic moments that occurred on camera, there was a bit of a snag prior to the show when Soulja got into an argument with security.

He was able to straighten things out and has continued his viral sensation status even after the show’s end, but his ex-girlfriend, Nia Riley, commented that she did her best to avoid any mentions of the rapper.

Riley recently came forward with allegations against Soulja Boy, accusing him of causing her miscarriage and of domestic violence. The daughter of music icon Teddy Riley has been ridiculed over her accusations by many of Soulja’s fans, and she responded to a few Twitter users in recent days regarding his Verzuz appearance.

Madame Noire reports that Riley retweeted a message that stated, “Sending love to the women who are watching literally thousands of people praising their abusers.” Riley reportedly replied, “The gift of acceptance is real. s/o to big man upstairs.” She also told a Twitter user, “I stayed off the net most of the day. I’m not irrational [about] the situation but people who know me know, and if they entertained that s*** on my line [scissor emoji].”

Cardi B Denies Claims She Wanted To “Knock Nicki [Minaj] Out”: “The Lies!”

The previous beef between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj seems like old news, but there are still moments when their fanbases blow life into the embers of controversy. Years ago, the ladies participated in a fight that went down in Hip Hop and fashion history, but they’ve both seemed to have moved forward from the animosity, at least publicly.

Internet personality and Love & Hip Hop star Jessie Woo was sharing a few thoughts recently and revived the drama by saying that she was “spilling tea” regarding an alleged interaction she had years ago. “I met someone that was on Cardi’s team back in 2017 and they literally told me, this is something that was told to me, that yeah like, ‘Putting Cardi out, our goal was to knock Nicki out.'”

“That was the first time I heard that topic. Then, not too long later, the whole Nicki and Cardi thing happened,” Woo continued, referencing the infamous fight between the ladies and their teams at New York Fashion Week back in 2018. “I remember just thinking to myself, yo, so-and-so told me this is what they were trying to do.”

Jessie Woo went on to speak about women in the industry going at it, and after Hollywood Unlocked shared the clip, Cardi B jumped in the comments to defend her name, team, and career.  “The lies !!! I hate that I gotta address sh*t that is so irrelevant,” said the rapper. “Jessie woo is the same person that I got on my dm askin me advise because she sign to my old record label and she felt like my old manager played her.”

“If anybody ever told you that about another woman then why would you go and sign with them as well ?” Cardi asked. “No matter how stressful my 3 years of litigation when with my old managers was I know he will never say that since he a Queens nikka and the last thing in our head was another woman when we was just trying to make it which we did .And yes I got the dms !”

Erica Mena Gives Birth, Safaree Samuels Shares First Photos Of Newborn

Congratulations are reportedly in order for Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels now that the latest addition to their family has been born. The couple has been going through some tough times recently as they’ve announced that they’re divorcing, and the news of the split came weeks after they shared they were expecting their second child together.

Hours ago, Safaree revealed that Erica had given birth after sharing a photo of himself holding their newborn. “MR Straittt jr is here!!” he wrote in the caption alongside a series of praying hands emojis.

Weeks ago, Erica posted videos and images of herself in the hospital. It was reported that in court documents, she stated that the stress from her relationship issues with Safaree put her pregnancy at risk and she was hospitalized to not give birth prematurely. The former couple has also been reportedly arguing over custody of their children, and it looks as if there was some resolution as to whether or not Safaree would be allowed inside of the birthing room.

Baby Samuels makes for Safaree’s second child and Erica’s third. She shares her eldest son, 14-year-old King, with Raul Conde. Check out Safaree’s posts below.

Nikki Bella Apologizes For 2013 Interview Remarks About Late WWE Icon Chyna

Those old tweets are known to bite celebrities in the butt and Nikki Bella is the latest to catch backlash. The professional wrestling star’s 2013 interview on Fashion Police resurfaced where Nikki commented on Chyna’s appearance, remarking that she didn’t know if Chyna was a “man or a woman.” WWE icon Chyna, real name Joan Marie Laurer, passed away from an accidental overdose in 2016, and her remaining dedicated fans continue to remember her fondly and defend her legacy.

After a Twitter user reposted the clip, Chyna’s official Twitter account executed a post-and-delete, as reported by TooFab, regarding the resurfaced interview. “That video from the @BellaTwins is disrespectful,” they wrote.

“I want to sincerely apologize for a comment I made over 8 years ago on Fashion Police. I am sorry and embarrassed by my 29 year old self, who offended Chyna and, in turn, hurt her family and others,” Nikki wrote. “I wish I could take it back. Please learn from me, it’s not worth hurting someone’s feelings for a meaningless laugh.”

“Chyna will always be remembered as an icon and pioneer who helped create the opportunities for women in wrestling that exist today. Thank you Chyna!” Check out the resurfaced interview, Nikki’s apology, and Chyna’s Twitter account’s response to Nikki’s post below.

Styles P Addresses Gangsters Who Call Citizens “Snitches”: “You’s A F*ckin’ Dummy”

The debate of what does and does not qualify as snitching is a conversation that Hip Hop knows all too well. There have been artists and label executives accused of snitching or cooperating with authorities, and each time those instances are brought up, the public, as well as rappers, weigh in with their opinions. Styles P took some time to speak on the topic recently and he made it clear that regular folks living lives outside of crime shouldn’t be labeled as snitches.

“A lot of you are getting things confused because OGs f*cked you up. You don’t have enough clarity of what’s going on,” said P. “Let me explain something to you. A regular citizen who has not broken the code or does not live a life of crime or is not an everyday criminal is not a snitch.”

“You should expect them people to call the cops,” he continued, before repeating himself to make sure his point was heard. “I don’t who your OG is, like I say, I don’t give a f*ck what set you in, n*gga. If a regular citizen who does not break the law calls the police on your stupid ass, and you didn’t expect that and you callin’ them a snitch, you’s a f*cking dummy.”

“I don’t know who teaching y’all, I don’t know who’s bloodin’ and crippin’ y’all n*ggas in or gangin’ y’all n*ggas in, but you have no f*ckin’ idea on what’s going on.” Styles P then apologized for his insults because many don’t know the difference because their “OGs taught y’all wrong.”
