Air Jordan 1 “Shadow 2.0” Coming This Spring: New Photos

Ever since its initial release all the way back in 1985, the Air Jordan 1 has been given a plethora of dope new colorways. However, it is the OG offerings that still stick in the minds of fans, and every so often, Jordan Brand blesses sneakerheads with some retros. Over the past few years, Jumpman has dedicated its time to make unique changes to these classics, and from this movement, we have seen some dope new colorways. Among them, is the Air Jordan 1 “Shadow 2.0.”

This colorway has been teased quite a bit over the past year but thanks to @zsneakerheadz on Instagram, we have some detailed images to share. In the post below, you can see that the sneaker is built on a black leather base, while the overlays, back heel, and Nike swoosh are all grey. This is almost the complete reverse of the original “Shadow” model which is already one of the cleanest Jordan 1s out there. This new 2.0 version is just as great and is shaping up to be a solid addition to any sneaker closet.

For now, the release date has been pegged for May 15th of this year although this date has yet to be confirmed by the brand. With this in mind, keep it locked to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest updates.

PJ Tucker Holds Out From Rockets Amid Trade Frustration

PJ Tucker has been a mainstay on the Houston Rockets for a long time now although he was mostly associated with the team’s glory years when Chris Paul and James Harden were on the roster. This season, the team has completely changed things up and Tucker has been vocal about how he isn’t content with his current situation. It’s been a foregone conclusion that Tucker would be traded although for some reason, it just hasn’t happened yet and Tucker is starting to get annoyed.

In fact, according to Rockets head coach Stephen Silas, Tucker held out of last night’s game against the Sacramento Kings, as he is frustrated with what’s going on. Silas understands that Tucker wants out, and he claims that the team is committed to finding a solution.

“We’re going to try to figure out something that works for him and works for us as far as him not being on the team anymore,” Silas said. “I was under the assumption that he was going to be playing tonight, and he didn’t play. That was disappointing, but there’s no secret that it’s been a rough year.”

With the trade deadline coming soon, there is hope for Tucker on the horizon and hopefully, for his sake, a contender will want to scoop him up. Tucker has plenty left to give, and he would be a huge depth addition as we head closer to the postseason.

DJ Muggs Goes On A Journey With “Dies Occidendum”

DJ Muggs is a legendary producer in his own right, and with an impressive discography to look back on, the Cypress Hill veteran has shifted his focus to the realm of instrumentals. Today, the self-declared Black Goat has delivered his new project Dies Occidendum, a haunting and powerful musical odyssey fueled by religious undertones and occult imagery.

That’s not to say we’re in completely new territory, as Muggs makes sure to keep his signature raw sound prevalent throughout. In fact, there are some songs that all but invite the presence of an emcee, though Dies Occidendum does indeed stand tall as a cohesive instrumental release. In fact, those willing to queue this one up from start to finish will be in for an enlightening and at times unsettling journey, a dark religious awakening where the subconscious holds more sway than the conscious.

For those who can appreciate the vocal-free storytelling chops of a practiced producer, Dies Occiidendum should be considered essential listening. Especially if dark beats and an underlying horror aesthetic are your particular cup of hallucinogenic tea. Check it out for yourself now, and sound off in the comments if you dared to take the plunge into DJ Muggs The Black Goat’s latest.

Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 Coming Soon: Best Look Yet

Air Jordan 1 collaborations have been plentiful over the last few decades and every year, it seems like Jordan Brand comes through with something that tops everything that they have done in the past. Back in 2014, the Fragment Air Jordan 1 was considered to be one of the best colorways ever made. In 2019, Travis Scott’s backward Swoosh Air Jordan 1 was heralded by fans as yet another classic collaboration that will live on for years to come. Now, it would appear as though these two collabs are being merged together, and sneakerheads are very excited.

Yesterday, teasers were posted online but today, it looks like clearer images have hit the internet thanks to the Instagram account @spicychickenwings. As you can see, the shoe has a white leather base, while the toe box and back heel are blue. From there, we have a black backward Nike Swoosh on the sides, with Cactus Jack and Fragment branding found throughout.

While these shoes are simply a rumor at this point, it would appear as though a possible release could be coming as soon as the Fall of 2021. This is huge news although considering nothing is confirmed yet, be sure to keep it locked to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest updates.

KSI, YUNGBLUD & Polo G Catch A Groove On “Patience”

KSI follows his previous single “Don’t Play” with a shocking new release featuring YUNGBLOOD and Polo G. Titled “Patience,” the UK artist’s new single serves as a preview of his upcoming follow-up to his acclaimed 2020 album Dissimulation, and its disparate line-up of artist surprisingly makes for an amazing collaboration and a sleek pop crossover record.

“Patience” is a massive ensemble track that features all three artists shining on a fresh pop-sensible record. Similar to Sonny Digital’s recently released single “Dance,” the KSI, YUNGBLUD, and Polo G collaboration gives a nod to pop nostalgia and heavily channels a disco vibe. “Patience” begins with an impressive Polo G feature, that remains heartfelt and brutally honest despite the Chicago rapper’s sonic experimentation.

Although YUNGBLUD doesn’t get a verse of his own, the weird! artist absolutely crushes the chorus and furthers the single’s magnetic vibe. As the lead artist, KSI takes a slight backseat to his collaborators, but his performances on the song’s second verse and bridge fit the song perfectly. With Polo G, YUNGBLUD, and KSI’s contributions all put together, “Patience” is an unexpectedly superb collaboration.

Listen to KSI’s latest single below, and get ready for the artist’s second album.

Quotable Lyrics

No patience, I’ve had enough
Spent too much time through these phases, it’s just not addin’ up
Felt all alone on those stages, wanna get my passion up
It’s over, pack it up

Khalid Remixes Singer-Songwriter Watts’ Mellow 2018 Single, ‘Feels’

It’s been a while since Khalid’s last album, Free Spirit, but he’s kept busy in the interim, popping up on collaborations with Kane Brown and Swae Lee (“Be Like That“), Alicia Keys (“So Done“), Victoria Monet (“Experience“), and Justin Bieber (on “Peaches” with Daniel Caesar from the upcoming Bieber album Justice). He lends his latest vocal assist to singer-songwriter Watts, remixing Watts’ 2018 single “Feels” and releasing a trippy, 3D-contrast visualizer to bring new life to the mellow ballad.

There’s little information out there about Watts, other than his real name, Jacob Watts, and origins, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A Genius profile for Jacob Watts lists his songwriting credits: He’s got a song called “Talk About It,” another called “Right, Alright,” and a collaboration with Adam Agin titled “Quicksand Arms.” Whatever he’s been up to since 2018, it looks like he may intend to make a comeback this year, and judging from his scant discography, he’s got the chops to craft a solid career if he can turn up the consistency of his releases.

Khalid, meanwhile, plans to follow up Free Spirit this year as well, according to what he told a fan on Twitter in September.

Rick Ross Spits Bars Over Isaac Hayes Sample

Rick Ross has been steadily working on his upcoming album Richer Than I’ve Ever Been, a project set to follow-up his 2019 album Port Of Miami 2And while it was originally speculated to arrive at some point in 2020, the Boss ultimately moved to press the delay button, presumably in order to add a few final touches. Now, Renzel has taken to Instagram to share a glimpse of what’s to come, queuing up a snippet that finds him getting busy over a promising instrumental.

“Top down on the block, throwing up the gang,” he spits, over a piano-driven instrumental sampling Isaac Hayes’ “Ike’s Mood I.” “Praying for my downfall–” the snippet proceeds to cut out, though not before giving us a bit of an idea of what’s to come. From the sound of it, this one appears to be a promising addition to Richer Than I’ve Ever Been, and we look forward to catching a few more details about the project — particularly the release date, though we’ll settle for a month at this point.

In the meantime, check out the new snippet below, and revisit Renzel’s recent contribution to Drake’s standout “Lemon Pepper” freestyle. In fact, it’s rumored that Rick Ross and Drake actually have a joint album in the vault, though it’s unlikely that it will see the light of day anytime soon. At least, not until Richer Than I’ve Ever Been and Certified Lover Boy arrive, presumably later this year.

Tom Brady Reacts To His Latest Contract Extension

When Tom Brady came into the NFL back in 2000, he was a complete underdog. Having been taken in the sixth round of the NFL draft, no one really expected him to amount to much. In the end, however, Brady proved all of the doubters wrong and went on to win seven Super Bowls. In fact, at the age of 43, Brady is far from finished as he is committed to finishing his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and getting himself to an eighth Super Bowl title.

The Bucs just made that path a little bit easier for him as the team announced that Brady would be signing a four-year contract extension that voids into just one year. This allows the Bucs to get some cap space off of the table, and open up room to sign more players. Following the news, Brady took to Twitter with his reaction, and as one can expect, he is very excited about the future.

In pursuit of 8…LFG @Buccaneers we’re keeping the band together,” Brady wrote. This Bucs team is poised to repeat as champions and at this point, it’s a bit hard to bet against them, especially when they have Brady under center.

It remains to be seen how much longer his career will last, but for now, his goal of playing until 45 appears to be intact.

Vanessa Bryant Expresses Joy After Daughter Natalia Gets Into University

Things have been incredibly difficult for the Bryant family over the past year. With the loss of Kobe and Gianna, Vaness Bryant has been holding strong and has done everything to support her three daughters. Her oldest daughter Natalia is 18 years old and over the past few months, she has been hard at work looking for universities. The eldest Bryant daughter has numerous schools in mind and recently, Vanessa revealed that Natalia got into one of her very first choices.

That choice just so happens to be Loyola Marymount University which is fairly close to Los Angeles. Regardless, Vanessa joked about the distance in her IG story, saying “So glad you got accepted but too far… j/k.” It just so happens that Natalia also got into the University of Oregon. She also applied to USC but has yet to get a response. For now, however, Natalia has yet to make a decision on where she will go.

Bryant had contemplated going to NYU as it was one of her first choices but considering the distance, she opted to not go through with the application. This saga was documented by Vanessa Bryant back in January where she wrote “So cute. 💜 NYU is one of her top schools.(@nataliabryant chose not to apply ED to her top 5 schools). I will do my best to keep her in Cali just like I kept her daddy here.”

No matter what, we’re sure Kobe would be very proud, and it’s awesome to see Natalia thriving despite everything that has happened. We wish her nothing but the best of luck moving forward.
