Ted Cruz Appears To Fall Asleep During Joe Biden Address

All this time, right-wing conservative voters have tried to sway the left away from President Joe Biden by referring to him as “Sleepy Joe” when, in reality, it was one of their own that deserved the nickname.

Republican Senator Ted Cruz is trending on social media again and, this time, it’s not because he left his state in the middle of the climate emergency. A video has been going viral of the Texas Senator dozing off in the middle of President Biden’s first address to Congress on Wednesday night. During the video, Cruz seems to have difficulty keeping his eyes open, appearing to fall asleep for a short period of time during the important meeting.

“Texas, are you watching?” asked one commenter on social media. “He is supposed to be working for you! You should be embarrassed!”

The viral moment happened when cameras cut away from President Biden during the 65-minute address. The special speech came on Biden’s hundredth day in office. Many have been taking a look at all the President has done, and not done, since being elected to the highest power in America. Clearly, Sleepy Ted was just not interested in hearing what Biden had to say.

Roddy Ricch Refuses To Snitch In 42 Dugg’s Fiery ‘4 Da Gang’ Video

Grammy-winning Compton native comes through with the assist on emerging Detroit rapper 42 Dugg’s new song, “4 Da Gang.” The track, which combines an uptempo, Detroit grunge rap beat with an eyebrow-raising sample of “No One Like You” from German rock band Scorpion, finds the two rappers contemplating loyalty to their respective crews — and flexing on haters, naturally.

The video reflects those sentiments, opening with Roddy facing questions from authorities and refusing to give up Dugg. Dugg, who’s hiding out in a trailer at a nearby junkyard, arranges to have the agents ambushed by the redneck denizens, which include ski-masked little girls and the elderly bearded manager. The agents wind up in the trunk of their own car while Dugg and Roddy rap in front of a burning Confederate flag.

“4 Da Gang” makes Roddy the latest established rapper to lend the up-and-coming 42 Dugg a leg up, after Lil Baby and fellow Detroiter Big Sean also featured him on their songs “We Paid” and “Friday Night Cypher,” respectively. Dugg also popped up on breakout Louisville rapper EST Gee’s 2020 album, I Still Don’t Feel Nun.

The video for “We Paid” was the subject of a police investigation after a shooting during filming, which led to Sacramento rapper OMB Peezy being arrested.

Moneybagg Yo Steps Out Of His Comfort Zone To Conquer ‘A Gangsta’s Pain’ On His Pensive New Album

Moneybagg Yo’s newest album, A Gangsta’s Pain is the Memphis rapper’s third project in 15 months. After beginning 2020 with Time Served, he teamed up with fellow Memphian Blac Youngsta for their Code Red project which arrived later that summer. The quick releases play a decent role in what makes up Moneybagg Yo the artist. The new project is his tenth since the start of 2017. This consistency coupled with a steady improvement from project to project has brought the rapper a new cast of supporters as his artistry becomes more and more refined.

The frequency of Moneybagg’s releases could cause one to pose the question: is being too active a bad thing? Well, the answer to that is both yes and no. Yes, because one could imagine his growth and improvement making a bigger impression if full-length releases were a bit more spaced out. No, because the Memphis rapper has taken an incremental step upward with each project as they arrive. Prior efforts like Federal 3X and Heartless see an artist slowly figuring it out while later admitting to mistakes thanks to hindsight. Recent efforts like Time Served capture Moneybagg in a new tier while A Gangsta’s Pain sees him finding comfort in this zone while setting his eyes on the next level.

Ironically this new zone the Memphis native has stepped into finds him moving out of his comfort zone a bit. Displaying A Gangsta’s Pain means unearthing the emotions that one most likely ignored and gave a cold shoulder to when asked about. On multiple occasions, Moneybagg tones down the clang of his chains to let the sound of his heartbeat echo. From the intimacy behind “One Of Them Nights” with Jhene Aiko to the uncaged sensitivity on “Love It Here,” Moneybagg’s heart slowly thaws with the warmth of a ride-or-die companion. Backed the return of Future’s Hndrxx alter-ego, “Hard For The Next” notes that while love and its longevity may not be guaranteed, making the best of the present moment is a bar Moneybagg will reach for.

The pains and struggles of yesterday’s inflictions are also laid on wax throughout A Gangsta’s Pain. He questions life and the many let-downs he experienced through it all on “If Pain Was A Person.” His hurt is merely an emotion that rattles the brain and weighs on the heart, but personifying this emotion creates a one-sided discussion that allows Moneybagg to vent and get what he needs off his chest. Strong moments like these come on the heels of weaker ones and as the nostalgic keys of Ashanti’s “Foolish” play underneath a mellow bass, Moneybagg’s “Wockesha” admits to repeatedly succumbing to the toxic drink that always counters his attempt to push it away with a defeating punch like the one Kamaru Usman delivered in front of the world not too long ago.

In between the rain of emotion that flows on A Gangsta’s Pain, the thunder and flash of Moneybagg’s rap prowess arrive to balance out the album. It’s how the Memphis native best knows how to present himself and why many of his fans fell in love with his music. He accomplishes this through assertive raps laced with overt confidence about the man and rapper he’s grown into over the years. Moneybagg isn’t someone who’s done his people wrong, he tells us that on “Projects” with lines like, “If you ever gave your word, then you must stand on that,” adding, “Just jumped off a private, took ten black trucks to the projects.” The self-solidifying talk continues on “Certified Neptunes,” an effort supported by a cold hook from Pharrell that brings listeners back to his days as a Clipse sidekick. “If your loyalty don’t match mine, it ain’t sh*t wit’ you,” Moneybagg proclaims, detailing a simple quality that is foundational in his world, and one that serves as the root of his gangsta’s pain when broken.

When you take a look into the past, it’s hard to deny the progress Moneybagg has made in his career, especially the last five years he’s spent inching closer and closer to the mainstream spotlight. A Gangsta’s Pain is the Memphis native’s most diverse project to date thanks to a deeper and more concise dive into the personal side of his life as well as tapping into production his fans had yet to hear him with him, like The Neptunes for example. A slight critique of the project would be its length as a 22-track — 21 songs and an interlude — effort will often be a bit of drag to listen to no matter the artist. However, when it comes time to detail A Gangsta’s Pain, one may take advantage of all the time they have to get the story across well, something Moneybagg Yo very much accomplished.

Tim Tebow Reportedly Worked Out With Jaguars As A Tight End

Tim Tebow is one of those names that always seems to elicit a polarizing reaction. The quarterback was a star with the Florida Gators although it was clear that his throwing mechanics were simply not good enough for the NFL. Despite this, he was able to start a few games with the Denver Broncos and even won them a playoff match. However, Tebow eventually bounced around the league for a bit before leaving and trying out baseball, which didn’t end up working out.

Now, Tebow is back and it seems like he is trying to get back into the NFL. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Tebow reached out to the Jacksonville Jaguars in hopes of getting a workout. This time around, Tebow wants to be a tight end and he even got an opportunity to work out with the Jags’ tight end coach.

What makes this development even more interesting is the fact that the Jaguars are actually considering signing him. Years ago, Tebow was told to become a tight end to save his NFL career although, at the time, he didn’t listen. Now, it seems like he will do anything to have another shot at glory.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s Layzie Bone Debuts New Teeth With Heartfelt Instagram Post

In 2021, cosmetic surgeries and procedures are commonplace in the entertainment industry. The public’s perception of plastic surgery is still pretty shaky, as recently seen with the Hip-Hop community’s polarizing responses to the rumors flying about that Drake has undergone liposuction. On the other hand, more minor enhancements to one’s appearance, such as getting veneers, are generally more accepted by the masses.

With that said, it appears that Bone Thugs-N-Harmony‘s Layzie Bone has followed in the footsteps of rappers like 21 Savage, NBA YoungBoy, and Plies because he has now revealed that he has gotten new teeth. In a recent post to Instagram, the veteran artist unveiled the drastic before-and-after of his extensive dental work.

“I went from this smile and having a ton of insecurities which none of you onlookers would have never knew about me,” Layzie Bone writes in the caption under the awe-inspiring post. “I am learning to love myself more than I ever have. To take care of myself better than I ever have. My fight has always been for equality amongst my peers and humankind in general. I am humbled and feel extremely blessed to share this moment.”

Layzie Bone continues, saying, “Thank you @clearchoicedental thank everybody that has supported me and what I stand for. Now keep the camera rolling because this half of my life is a movie that I intend on getting the Oscar for [fist emoji] say Cheeze Burna [folded hands emoji].”

Sydney Chase Doubles Down On Tristan Thompson Cheating Claims

Tristan Thompson is not being let off easily. After several days of rumors about the NBA star’s infidelity following an episode of the No Jumper podcast, Tristan’s cheating accuser spoke out again, reiterating that her claims are legit.

Fashion model Sydney Chase uploaded a video on TikTok starting with an apology for the comments she made regarding her intimate relations with Tristan claiming he had a “peek-a-boo d**k,” but was quick to defend her honor regarding their alleged hookup in January 2021.

“I did disclose personal information about Tristan which I do apologize for because that’s not okay and I shouldn’t have done that,” the model explained.

Sydney claimed relations with the Celtics’ power-forward started when they first met in November 2020. However, it was widely known that the NBA star reconciled with Khloe back in summer 2020. The couple was rumored to be engaged since December of last year.  In the podcast interview posted on April 22, she claimed she asked him, “Are you single?” to which he responded, “yes.”

Once Chase found out this was not true, she immediately cut ties.

However, Tristan allegedly tried to contact her again his and Khloe’s daughter True’s birthday party in early April. Thompson was absent from the celebration due to being in Boston and posted a social media tribute in her honor.

The model also revealed that Tristan messaged again, right after the NoJumper interview dropped, but failed to reveal the details of their exchange.

Thompson’s infamous cheating scandals started in 2018, when he cheated on Khloe Kardashian several days before she gave birth, with Instagram model Lani Blair. A year later, Tristan was exposed for cheating with Kylie Jenner’s former best friend, Jordyn Woods.

Air Jordan 4 “White Oreo” Release Date Delayed

One of the best silhouettes to ever come out of Jordan Brand is the Air Jordan 4. It is one of those classic Tinker Hatfield creations that has stood the test of time, and every single year, Jumpman comes through and delivers new colorways. The shoe recently celebrated its 30th anniversary although it seems fairly clear that this model will not be going out of style, anytime soon. There are some dope colorways set to release this year, including the “White Oreo” offering which can be found below.

In many ways, it resembles the infamous “White Cement” model although there are certainly some obvious changes here. For instance, there is no black to be found on this model as the entire midsole is dressed in the grey and black speckled aesthetic. Meanwhile, the upper is covered in white leather all while red highlights are sprinkled throughout. It makes for a pretty amazing-looking shoe that will be highly sought after.

As for the release date, it was supposed to come out in late May although now it will be dropping on June 19th for $190 USD. Let us know what you think of these, in the comments below. Also, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from the sneaker world.

Meek Mill’s Artist Tafia Drops New Single “Flood The Streets” With DJ Drama

Meek Mill has signed a bunch of artists over the years as he looks to build his own roster of budding rap superstars. Signed to his Dream Chasers label, Florida rapper Tafia has been making a lot of noise in the last year with his various releases. The rising artist made the news this month after a fiery car crash nearly took his life. Then, it was reported that he was charged in a wire fraud scheme just a few days ago.

Despite the legal difficulties he’s currently facing, Tafia remains one of the strongest voices in the streets of the Sunshine State. He recently teamed up with the iconic DJ Drama to “Flood The Streets” on their new single, which precedes their Street Clarity collaboration, which is expected tonight.

If you’re just learning about Tafia through the headlines and want to learn more about what kind of music he’s been making, check out the track below to catch a feel for his vibe.

Quotable Lyrics:

Diamonds like some popcorn, I made a play and buck court

Got a big 40, like a big shorty
Flood the streets like Jordans, get the money sorted out
What they talkin bout, all that sucka shit I call it out

6ix9ine Fan Selling Allegedly Stolen Hat For Thousands

All hell broke loose after Tekashi 6ix9ine jumped into the crowd at his most recent concert in Florida. The highly controversial rapper booked one of his first live shows since his release from prison last weekend, diving into the audience and instantly regretting his decision. The rapper was wearing $2 million worth of jewelry and after fans started yanking at his chains, one of them fell to the ground. Security quickly scooped up the expensive piece but 6ix9ine ended up losing his hat in the scuffle.

According to DJ Akademiks, one of 6ix9ine’s close friends, the rapper’s stolen hat is presently up for sale on eBay for a pretty ridiculous price. The blue St. Louis Cardinals cap was allegedly swiped by somebody who is trying to catch a quick lick off of it. It has reportedly been posted on eBay where it’s currently being auctioned off for $15,000. There are forty-nine active bids on the hat, so it’s clear that some people are still interested in getting some 6ix9ine memorabilia.

There likely isn’t a way to verify if this is actually the hat that 6ix9ine wore at the show. The rapper is performing another concert in Miami this weekend, where he will probably be a little more cautious before jumping into the crowd with millions of dollars worth of jewelry on his body.
