Tuesday night was one for the books. In perhaps one of its most engaging battles since its inception last year, Verzuz welcomed classic New York Hip-Hop groups The LOX and Dipset into the ring, and the battle was nothing short of captivating. In addition to revisiting throwback fan-favorite tracks from both groups, viewers were treated to quite the spectacle as well, as Jadakiss’ infectious energy led to a scene-stealing performance.

As a result, many people who watched the Verzuz have crowned Jadakiss and The LOX the undisputed champions over Dipset, but still, one fan on Twitter was curious as to what Lloyd Banks thought about the show.

“Banks, you watched the Lox v.Dipset versus last night ? what are your thoughts?” a fan asked the former G-Unit member on Twitter.

Apparently, the Course of the Inevitable rapper took a break from putting in work in “the lab” because he responded to the fan in a matter of hours. Rather than getting too deep into what he liked or disliked from the LOX v. Dipset matchup, however, Lloyd Banks got right to the point and revealed who the true winner during Tuesday’s Verzuz was.

“Amazing night for hip hop,” Lloyd banks says, perfectly summing up what pretty much every Hip-Hop enthusiast has likely been thinking about last night’s entertaining Verzuz battle between The LOX and Dipset.

All of the New York-isms were on full display at the Hulu Theatre at MSG last night when The LOX and Dipset went hit-for-hit. Going into the Verzuz, fans of the Diplomats were certain that Cam’ron and co. would be leading the evening with classic anthems. The LOX, and Jadakiss, specifically, showed out on Tuesday night with bangers on bangers and proved everyone wrong.

Throughout the evening, The LOX would take the stage to perform a hit, step back, then allow Dipset to do their thing. However, it appears that at one point, Jim Jones got a little lost and overestimated the space on stage. A viral video emerged this morning from the sidelines of Verzuz showing Jim Jones taking a tumble off of the stage. Thankfully, it wasn’t while he was performing but fans immediately caught a glimpse of the rapper being engulfed by the crowd. While Juelz Santana approached the side of the stage in an attempt to pull up his fellow Dipset member, Jim Jones put all of that weightlifting training to use and pulled himself back on stage.

Needless to say, the Internet had plenty of jokes about Jim Jones little tumble. “That’s them weak legs finally giving out from only working on his upper body [too] much,” one user wrote.

Former President of the United States Barack Obama will have to compromise with the coronavirus in order to celebrate his big milestone 60th birthday, which just so happens to be today. The Obamas had been planning a huge birthday bash at their Martha’s Vineyard estate for months – one that would be hosting nearly 500 celebrity figures and his staff of about 200 members. Despite their best efforts to keep the event COVID-compliant and safe, the emerging rise of Delta variant cases across the nation has forced the grand celebration to be canceled. The recent breakthrough information shared by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that the Delta variant can cause vaccinated people to spread the virus very similarly to non-vaccinated individuals was enough cause for concern to shut down the large celebrations.

Instead, the former President will hold a gathering that’s more intimate in nature, with just close friends and family in attendance at their $12 million estate in Massachusetts. Though there hasn’t been any word on an actual headcount, it’s assumed to be a far cry from the initial numbers of assumed guests for the large birthday bash. A representative for Obama said that the former President is “appreciative of others sending their birthday wishes from afar and looks forward to seeing people soon.”

Leading up to the former President’s August 4th birthday, he has been keeping busy in different roles. Obama recently joined NBA Africa as a strategic partner, with hopes to work to expand the league’s reach in countries across the continent.

Despite the unfortunate news of the scaled down celebrations for Barack’s big 60th birthday, his wife Michelle posted a heartfelt message and photo on Instagram to celebrate the occasion. “Of all of your accomplishments, I know that being a present, loving father to our girls tops them all. Thank you for never letting the weight of the world get in the way of being a wonderful husband and father,” her caption reads for the post, which includes a photo of the couple with their two daughters, Sasha and Malia.

Happy Birthday, Barack Obama!

The self-proclaimed “big trend setter” almost broke the internet on Tuesday when she dropped a set of naked selfies where she used angles and stickers to prevent showing it all off on the Gram.

In an effort to bounce back from her much-maligned XXL Freshman freestyle, Coi has remained confident and maintained her obvious carefree attitude, dropping an off-the-cuff freestyle about cereal, which she spat live from the grocery store aisle. Unfortunately, it seems the general public doesn’t know how to have fun, as that wasn’t received well either, but Coi continued to brush the haters away and responded with, “Yall Weird. Live a Little.”

She’s clearly taking her own advice. The first of Coi’s shares finds the rapper pulling two of her signature braids across her face in order to frame her eyes, mask-esque. Coi cropped the photo at her arm, providing coverage to her chest and showing off her wrist tats.

A second photo appears to be an un-cropped version where Coi (almost) bears it all, self-censored by a strategic hat placement and a pink bunny sticker. The star took to Twitter an hour later, sharing two quotes which clearly reflect her mood lately: “What other people think about you isn’t about you. It’s about them,” read one of the quotes, alongside, “sometimes you must hurt in order to know, fall in order to grow, lose in order to gain because life’s greatest lessons are learnt through pain.”

Ice-T had time today. The Law & Order: SVU star decided to clap back at critics who recently took issue with his wife, Coco Austin, still breastfeeding their 5-year-old daughter occasionally. Coco confirmed that she’s still breastfeeding in a recent interview in US Weekly, receiving a fury of backlash from trolls online ever since.

Ice-T took to social media to defend his wife and daughter this morning, first sharing a picture with the words: “Jealousy will have people hating on someone that they should be learning from.” When a follower wrote, “Not sure that I’m jealous of a 5 yr old breastfeeding,” Ice-T shot back, “You are.. You’ve never sucked a pretty titty.”

He later chimed in and said his daughter eats real food, but stills likes to suck on moms breast every now and then, just like he does.

“News Flash! I’m still Breastfeeding! Every chance I can….,” the star said. “News Flash! We feed Chanel FOOD…, She just likes to suck moms boob every now and then… Me Too!!!” he added right after that.

Coco Austin recently opened up about continuing to occasionally breastfeed Chanel, calling it “a big bonding moment for a mother and your child.” “Why take that away from her? … If she doesn’t want it, all right, that’s where you stop it,” she said. “But I’m not just going to say no.”

Earlier this year, Twitter formally established itself as former President Donald Trump’s arch-nemesis when it banned him from the text-based social media platform, and now, it appears that Instagram has been met with its match as well. Ever since his outlandish quarantine antics last year, Boosie Badazz has repeatedly violated Instagram’s rules and regulations to the point where the like-driven platform had to make a final stand and ban him from using the app.

Still, that hasn’t stopped Boosie from returning to the social media platform on multiple occasions. Eventually, the veteran rapper gets banned once again, and at this point, there’s practically a neverending war between Boosie Badazz and Instagram.

Despite the cold shoulder that he continues to receive from Instagram, however, Boosie always finds his way back onto the social media platform, and now it looks like he’s operating under the burner account @hesbackagain2021.

Boosie recently slammed Head of Instagram Adam Mosseri for repeatedly removing him from IG, and he even called Mosseri a “b*tch” and instructed his fans to spam him. According to the Neighborhood Talk, Boosie is back on the app with a vague message that some may think is directed at the Head of Instagram.

“I bet not never catch you slippin [winking emoji],” Boosie Badazz allegedly wrote in note that was to @hesbackagain2021.

Megan drew one of the largest crowds during Lollapalooza’s big festival weekend and she continues her hustle, seemingly with no days off. 

Calvin Klein’s “In My Calvins” ad campaign has included models such as Kendall Jenner and stars such as Justin Bieber. Back in March, Megan Thee Stallion broke down yet another wall by being one of the few Black female rappers to work with the brand for an official campaign. 

As her relationship with the iconic underwear brand continues, Megan offered up some CK promo with a share on her Instagram on Tuesday, simply captioned with the brand’s phrase signature “#mycalvins” hashtag.

In the flicks, she poses in an all-white bedroom, wearing different Calvin Klein crop tank tops and underwear sets. For the main shot, she even went on all fours, showing off her physique. In the gallery images that follow, she posed sitting on the bed, or looking-back-at-it dreamy-eyed, yet still sultry.

As always, the poses received praise from Megan’s die-hard “hotties” and many famous friends, including Tinashe and Chloe Bailey. The fashion brand’s official Instagram wrote “All of this” in the comments while Pardison Fontaine hyped up his girl with a long line of flirty tongue-out emojis.
