Future Will Appear In Court This Month For Child Support Case With Eliza Reign

Future is expected to head to court, later this month, regarding a child support case with the mother of his daughter, Eliza Reign. The parents will reconvene in Florida on August 26 for the trial.

Reign originally sought $53,000 per month in child support; however, Future rejected the deal and offered just $1,000 in return. Later, a judge found that he must pay $3,200.

The mother wants Future to provide his record label contracts and business deals, as she believes he is hiding the true extent of his wealth. Future has done his best to block these attempts thus far.

Future has accused Reign of “ruining his reputation” throughout the lawsuit.

The “Mask Off” rapper has children with numerous other women as well, including Brittni Mealy. Future recently faced backlash after reportedly texting his and Mealy’s son that his “mom is a hoe!” Mealy shared images of the texts on her Instagram story, last week.

When some claimed that the images were fake, she replied on her Instagram story: “On GAWD YOU SAID IT THEY NEED TO CANCEL YOU. Cruelty to children! Haven’t seen him in 3 months but in the same State I can Keep Going!”

“I DO NOT PLAY ABOUT MY KIDS!” she added.

To help promote this brand new album, Dame has linked up with Adidas for a brand new sneaker collab on the Adidas NMD R1 V2. The shoes can be found in the images below, and as you can see, this is a pretty bold colorway.

Most of the shoe is black although pink highlights make their way throughout. On one side we have the phrase “we just strivin’ for equality/acknowledge me,” while the other side has a barcode. The Dame D.O.L.L.A logo is then placed on the tongue, which acts as a nice finishing touch.

“I was contemplating whether I should do this or keep my business to myself but I think it’s more important for me to do this,” started Capo. “I urge everybody to stay safe out there. COVID is real. I was runnin’ ’round here thinking I was Superman and COVID knocked the socks off Superman. So I urge and encourage everybody to please continue to mask up, please continue with hand sanitizer, social distance as much as you can, try to stay away from as many packed and crowded places. This shit is no joke. I really felt it and I don’t want nobody to feel like how I felt.”

Jones continued to say that he’s not trying to force anyone to get vaccinated, but that everyone should be taking this massive health crisis seriously. He added in his caption that he’s since tested negative, saying, “I’m grateful for all those who called to check up on me. I’m negative and it’s time to get back Healthy. God is good.”

Cam Newton Is Fed Up With Being Asked About Patriots QB Situation

During the New England Patriots’ first preseason game, the team’s first-round draft pick Mac Jones had himself a phenomenal game. Fans were impressed with his poise in the pocket, and with Cam Newton underperforming, questions started to arise regarding who would be the team’s starter for Week 1. By all indications, Newton will keep his starting job heading into the regular season, however, reporters continue to ask him about his status with the team.

Recently, Newton expressed frustration with these questions as he offered a very honest take about where he is with the team. Simply put, Bill Belichick hasn’t told him anything out of the ordinary, and for now, his goal is to keep getting better each and every week.

“Y’all sitting up here asking silly questions to me and I’m looking at y’all with the same thing. I don’t know what y’all want me to say,” Newton said per Pro Football Talk. “So every single day I’m coming out here with the intention to just get better. That’s the only thing I can do. I can control that. But as far as somebody else’s analogy or interpretation for what Week One is, I’m trying to focus on what tomorrow brings, and making adjustments in tonight’s meetings.”

Newton went on to say that the quarterback situation between himself and Jones is something that he can’t dwell on this season. After all, Newton had a disappointing 2020, and if he wants to bounce back this year, he is going to have to tune out all of the distractions, including those on his own team.

“I don’t take [your questions] personal. I just want you guys to understand, everything y’all know, I know,” Newton said. “There’s no hidden motives or things like that. I do know those things like that, I can’t worry about. Because each and every day, I don’t necessarily care about who’s starting, I mostly care about making sure I put the best product out there for me, and I know Mac is feeling the same way, I know Brian [Hoyer] is feeling the same way and everybody else, going down each and every position.”

Needless to say, Newton has a lot to fight for this year, and if he wants to keep his job, he will need to find that MVP form he had just a few years ago.

The Kid Laroi And Justin Bieber ‘Stay’ On Top Of The Hot 100 Chart For A Second Week

Last week, The Kid Laroi earned his first No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart last week with his Justin Bieber collaboration “Stay.” Now, the single has lived up to its name: On the Hot 100 chart dated August 21, the track has remained in the No. 1 spot for a second consecutive week.

Meanwhile, a notable debut on the chart is the latest single from The Weeknd, “Take My Breath,” which premieres at No. 6. Elsewhere, Olivia Rodrigo’s “Good 4 U” remains at No. 2, where it has been for some time. In fact, it’s held that spot for a record-tying amount of time: The only ever song to spend at least 11 weeks at No. 2 is Whitney Houston’s 1995 single “Exhale (Shoop Shoop).”

When “Stay” debuted at No. 1, Laroi and Bieber made their home countries proud: The song is Bieber’s eighth No. 1, which ties him with Drake for the most all-time among Canadian artists. Meanwhile, as for Laroi, “Stay” is the first song by an Australian-born solo male artist to top the Hot 100 in 40 years, since Rick Springfield’s “Jessie’s Girl.” He’s also the first Australian-born artist to top the Hot 100 since Sia, who was No. 1 for four weeks in August 2016 with the Sean Paul collaboration “Cheap Thrills.”

Chance The Rapper Explains Why He Won’t Sign New Artists Even Though He Follows Them

Chance The Rapper is one of the better-established artists in rap right now, which begs the question: Why doesn’t he have a label with a roster full of little homies like so many of his peers? “Young Thug is the king of that sh*t,” he tells Showtime hosts Desus & Mero. “He got 50 people in this sh*t, put them in great positions.”

However, as he explains, “I’m in a position where I can’t sign anybody. I can’t put nobody on.” He elaborates, “You get to a certain space in the industry, and then people are like, ‘Okay, who are your underlings?’ … I’ve never been a person that signed anybody, so when somebody is hot and people are like, ‘Yo check this person out,’ and I’m like, ‘Yeah, I listen to this person every day.’ I don’t have anything for them. I can’t advance their career. I can tell them not to sign. That’s the best I can do for n****s right now.” One such rapper he does shout out though is Beaumont, Texas’ Teezo Touchdown, with whom he’s performing at Summerfest in September.

Desus also challenges Chance to answer the age-old question of which city’s pizza is better between Chicago and New York. Chance goes with his hometown, but he offers an intriguing rationale: “I think the problem with New York pizza is you have too much of it.”
