Drake Shows Off Travis Scott Fragment Jordan 1s On Instagram

Drake has been making rounds on social media for a few weeks now, with people criticizing the Canadian rapper’s Certified Lover Boy hair and strange outfit choices.

Drake’s newest hot-topic wardrobe choice comes with a hefty price tag as the rapper debuted his fresh Travis Scott Fragment Jordan 1s yesterday on his Instagram story, showing off the blue and white shoes in a candid fit pic. The outfit was met with mixed reviews, though many were jealous of the rapper’s coveted kicks.

Travis Scott and Drake have collaborated numerous times, the most well-known of which being 2018’s “SICKO MODE” off of Travis’s 2018 Astroworld project. Thus, it’s not too surprising that the 6 God had special access to the new shoe. Fans and sneaker heads have been clambering for the shoe ever since the high model sold out immediately upon release in July with the low model following suit last week. The Fragment 1s follow up Travis’s first Jordan 1 iteration in 2019, which featured the signature reversed check over a mocha background.

Still, fans have had mixed opinions over the tan fleece and beige cargo pants Drake paired with the shoes. “Bro dressing like a dad,” wrote one instagram user while another wrote “Man woke up and chose to not match.” Others hilariously brought up other recent pictures Drake has posted of his outfits, which have spurred comparisons to “teenage girl” poses: “Why does he look like a teenage girl posing for these pictures lol,” one Instagram user commented.

Check out the post below. Do you think Drake’s wearing the shoes right?

LaMelo Ball On Skipping College For NBA: “We Don’t Need School”

LaMelo Ball is one of the best young players in the NBA, and the 19-year-old basketball star doesn’t have any regrets about not pursuing higher education goals, explaining in a new profile with GQ that, “We don’t need school.”

The Charlotte Hornets guard has shown flashes of brilliance on the court and off the court, he claims to be a pretty intelligent man. At least, he believes that he doesn’t “need” education, which he said during an interview with GQ.

“You wanna go to the league, so school’s not your priority,” said Ball about leaving high school to play professional ball overseas. “We not trippin’ off school. We not dumb. We know how to learn. We don’t need school. And school not even teachin’ you shit — what the fuck is school?”

LaMelo also added that he believes the NCAA should provide more options for college athletes to get paid for their play on the court.

Considering the fact that LaMelo won Rookie Of The Year last year, he may be right in that he did not require an ordinary educational path to achieve his dreams. However, the fact of the matter is that in most professions, education will set you up to succeed.

Chris Cuomo On Brother Andrew Cuomo’s Scandal: “I Did Urge Him To Resign”

It was less than a year ago that the Cuomo brothers, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, seemed like an unstoppable duo. Andrew was receiving massive love from the international community for his daily briefings on New York’s COVID-19 conditions while appearing as a guest on his brother’s show to further his positive public image.

However, sexual harassment and misconduct allegations from a number of staffers has put more than a damper on the Governor’s popularity; it has put his career in jeopardy. Chris Cuomo, who caught heavy criticism for ignoring the allegations and even aiding his brother in refuting them, finally took to CNN to describe his side of the situation.

“My advice to my brother was simple and consistent: own what you did, tell people what you will do to be better, be contrite, and finally accept that it doesn’t matter what you intended. What matters is how your actions and words were perceived,” Chris Cuomo told viewers of his CNN prime-time show.

Chris Cuomo caught heat after he largely ignored the allegations and even helped his brother in crafting a defense statement against the allegations. “It was a mistake, because I put my colleagues here, who I believe are the best in the business, in a bad spot. I never intended for that, I would never intend for that, and I’m sorry for that,” Cuomo told viewers in May.

Though Andrew Cuomo relentlessly defended himself and refused to resign even after the New York State Attorney General found the claims to be true, he eventually resigned as of last week. His brother told viewers that he had urged Andrew to do so: “while it was not something that I ever imagined ever having to do, I did urge my brother to resign, when the time came.”

Chris Cuomo will continue as a CNN host.

Future’s Ex Brittni Mealy Accuses Him Of Shutting Down Her Instagram

For the last few days, Future and his ex-girlfriend, Brittni Mealy, have been at odds on social media. The former couple has one child together but there couldn’t be any more bad blood between them.

It all started when Brittni shared a screenshot of her son’s text messages with Future, in which the rapper allegedly refers to her as a “hoe.” After both he and his mother responded to her allegations by telling their followers to “Pray For Her,” Brittni went a step further, accusing Future of having her business page shut down on Instagram after she started selling merchandise related to their feud. She posted an audio message of Future allegedly telling her that he never loved his other ex, Joie Chavis, and that seems to have kicked off the latest leg of their beef.

According to Brittni, her page was suspended again from Instagram, the day after she had her access restored.

“So I get my page back yesterday now it’s gone again today I’ll be wrong if I post something else,” she wrote on her main page. “Yall know who behind this it’s bullying and harassment!”

She’s still promoting her “Pray For Him” merch, hoping to make a quick buck off the publicity she’s getting right now, and she’s got tons of receipts to back herself up, it seems.

Do you think Brittni will post something else to make her ex look bad?
