Millyz Delivers Straight Bars On “Blanco 4”

Millyz had the rap game shook this week after he made an appearance on Power 106 Los Angeles for his first L.A. Leakers freestyle. The man show-and-proved, tackling Drake’s “Pound Cake” and 50 Cent’s “Follow Me Gangsta” effortlessly. He certainly gained a few new fans with his freestyle and it came at no better time. Just days after the freestyle dropped, he slid through with the fifth installment in the Blanco series.

Millyz latest project is arguably his biggest so far. Following his collaborative venture with Dave East, Blanco IV puts the spotlight on Millyz who flexes his lyrical prowess alongside rap giants such as Jadakiss and Benny The Butcher. Millyz also enlists Asian Doll, G Herbo, Jazzy Amra, and more to round out the tracklist.

FBI Investigating Deshaun Watson Allegations & Possibility Of Extortion In 1 Case

Deshaun Watson’s attorney, Rusty Hardin, says that the Houston Texans quarterback is being investigated by the FBI amidst the 22 active civil lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct. Hardin says that they are also considering the possibility of extortion in one of the cases.

“In April, the FBI came to us and told us they were investigating a matter as to whether one of Mr. [Tony] Buzbee’s clients had committed extortion in the way they were demanding money from Deshaun or what they would do if they didn’t pay it,” Hardin said in a press conference, Wednesday.

He continued: “We were not the ones who contacted them; they contacted us. We talked to [the FBI]. We even let them interview Deshaun — and if y’all can find a lawyer that will let his client talk to the FBI if the lawyer had thought his client had done anything wrong or had any exposure, then I’ll be very, very surprised.”

Watson is currently showing up to practices for the Texans but did not participate in their first preseason game, against the Packers.

For now, it’s unclear how the NFL will punish Watson and it appears commissioner Roger Goodell will wait until the criminal investigation is finished to act.

Chynna’s Posthumous Album “Drug Opera” Is Here

Last year, the rap game received the devastating news of Chynna’s passing. The Philadelphia rapper had been bubbling up in the underground scene while forming a dedicated fanbase that found solace in her vulnerability and openness.

On Friday, fans finally received her first full-length project, drug opera. The album was largely completed prior to her passing with her team and family members making minor adjustments to the project due to sample clearance issues. Drug opera is thirteen songs in length with appearances from A$AP Ant, Kur, and Junglepussy. Maaly Raw, Kirk Knight, Suicideyear, and more also contribute production to the album.

Along with the album, a short film directed by Henry DaCosta for the title track was released.

Kanye West’s Response To Drake Has Twitter In Shambles

Things got interesting on hip-hop Twitter this morning as many woke up to a new song from Trippie Redd and Drake called “Betrayal.” The song sees Drake stepping outside of his comfort zone on some unique hyperpop production, however, it was his bars that got all of the attention. At one point in the track, Drake takes a direct shot at Kanye West and Pusha T as he raps the line “All these fools I’m beefin’ that I barely know/ Forty-five, forty-four (burned out), let it go/ Ye ain’t changin’ shit, it’s set in stone.”

This bar was immediately picked up by fans, leading to quite a bit of virality on social media. Over the last few weeks, rumors have circulated surrounding the idea that Kanye might be delaying DONDA as a way to set up an album release showdown with Drake, who is set to drop Certified Lover Boy. Fans made this connection and assumed that Drake wrote this verse as a way to respond to all of the chatter.

If that wasn’t enough, Kanye broke the internet this afternoon by posting a screenshot of a group DM he apparently shares with Drake. Within the screenshot was a message saying “I live for this. I’ve been fucked with by nerd ass jock n****s like you my whole life. You will never recover. I promise you” with an image of the Joker attached. To make matters more interesting, Kanye had just added Pusha T to the conversation, which is pretty well a declaration of war.

Since posting this screenshot on Instagram, fans have been giving their thoughts and feelings on the whole debacle through social media platforms like Twitter. For instance, DJ Akademiks tweeted about the ordeal saying “Kanye adding Pusha T and Drake to a Group chat on iMessage like he forgot that … the last time he went off the deep end .. drake sent him there wit one emoji…” Andrew Barber was also amused by the whole thing as he referenced this upcoming Thursday’s DONDA event in Chicago: “Kanye going full Joker mode, Thursday night is gonna be wild.”

Some fans just want the beef to end, while others think Kanye is about to go off the deep end. It’s almost impossible for people to have a lukewarm take on the whole beef, and as both artists gear up to drop new albums, we could be in for a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

Enchanting & Kali Are Running It Up On “Track & Field”

The new 1017 is thriving, even if a few key members are dealing with some unfortunate legal issues. While Gucci Mane has continued to build up the label with new acts, it seems that he’s putting a lot of effort behind Enchanting. She’s been delivering some stellar freestyles as of late, along with a few loose singles but from the looks of it, a new album could be coming shortly.

This week, Enchanting tapped Kali for their brand new record, “Track & Field.” Thumping bass and sinister keys fill up the spacious instrumental as the ladies pop their shit. “I been runnin’ through this bag like it’s track & field/ Only f*ckin’ with them n***as got them racks for real,” Enchanting raps on the hook, reminding the fellas that they need more than just a good personality to be messing with her and Kali.

Check the song below.

Quotable Lyrics
B*tch, I’m all pressure, lil’ body, big stepper
Gotta talk heavy, you ain’t met a b*tch better
Girl, these n***as ain’t got it like they said for real
F*ck his bag up, run off like it’s track & field

Kanye West Directly Addresses Drake: “You Will Never Recover”

Drake is currently the biggest story in hip-hop right now thanks to his feature on the new Trippie Redd track called “Betrayal.” This song immediately took the internet by storm, especially due to the fact that Drake sent some shots at Kanye West and Pusha T. With the line “All these fools I’m beefin’ that I barely know/ Forty-five, forty-four (burned out), let it go/ Ye ain’t changin’ shit, it’s set in stone,” Drake was clearly addressing the GOOD Music camp, and Ye fans aren’t too happy about it.

Earlier today, Consequence addressed Drake noting that his subs won’t be taken lightly. The Kanye West collaborator also claimed that “it’s party time” which is certainly an ambiguous statement. Now, however, Kanye is getting directly involved in the situation and he is hoping to bring Pusha T wish him.

On Instagram today, Kanye posted a photo of a group DM he allegedly participates in with the likes of Drake and many others. As you can see in the post below, Kanye sent the group chat a photo of Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker character, while also saying “I live for this. I’ve been fucked with by nerd ass jock n****s like you my whole life. You will never recover. I promise you.”

Needless to say, these are some pretty menacing statements that were complemented by a note in the chat that claims how Pusha T was also added to the conversation. Based on this alone, it’s quite clear that Kanye and Push are ready to bring an obscene amount of negativity to this beef.

If this DM is, in fact, real, then it’s clear we could be in for a steady stream of diss songs over the next few weeks. DONDA is supposed to drop this week, and if you weren’t hyped enough already, well, now you should be.

Stay tuned to HNHH as we will continue to bring you the latest updates pertaining to this situation. In the meantime, you can listen to the Drake and Trippie Redd song, below.

Toosii Says He’d Give Up His Career For His Relationship

Toosii might have the kind of love we’ve all been looking for… and he’s not afraid to admit it. Fresh off of the release of a brand new mixtape this month, the rapper’s professional life seems to be going just as well as his love life. Still, this doesn’t seem to be enough for his hungry fans who are worried that his relationship is getting in the way of his career. He’s allegedly been receiving hate for it and took to Twitter on Thursday to shut down anyone claiming that his girlfriend is interfering with his work.

“Mfs basically telling me being in a relationship is hindering my career. Bro f*** this career I love my girl and if the world don’t like that s*** I’ll stop making music,” Toosii tweeted. It looks like he’s pretty fed up with all the hate, though his dedication to his girlfriend is pretty remarkable.

It seems he regretted issuing the statement and deleted the tweet shortly after it was posted. Later that day, he tweeted, “excuse my last tweet… I’m still here.” Adding, “I won’t ever stop rapping I’m one of the only few real ****** left in this s***.”

Perhaps Toosii came off a little too strong at first, though his love for his girl still shouldn’t be doubted. Fans were initially upset about Toosii’s priorities, but plenty of women came to his support. One wrote, “Continue to love your woman! because love lasts and this industry shit doesn’t! Ppl are really wishing for real love out here don’t let em tell you different!”
