Saweetie Calls Out LA Rapper Chasing Clout Off Her

Saweetie and Quavo have officially broken up and their split has not been pretty so far. After they quietly unfollowed each other on social media, rumors of their split captured the attention of hip-hop fans across the nation, who had previously hailed the pair as “relationship goals”. Now that Saweetie has effectively accused Quavo of cheating on her with other women, it’s clear that there was much more happening behind the scenes than they cared to show in their pictures.

Social media has been abuzz with speculation about who Saweetie and Quavo could potentially move on with. While some people have joked that Saweetie is angling for a date with the one-and-only Drake after telling her ex Quavo to “take care”, one particular Los Angeles-based rapper was trying to claim that the Icy Girl was actually moving on with him. According to Saweetie though, that’s big cap.

LA rapper Ray Vaughn posted a video of Saweetie over the weekend, telling his followers that they “got 1 in the vault”. After fan pages called out the rapper and said that the video was months old, Saweetie herself jumped in to call out Vaughn, confirming that the video was taken in August 2020. “Bye,” she said with a laughing emoji on Instagram stories, circling the date that she wore the orange outfit she was seen wearing in the clip.

Considering Saweetie basically just shut down Ray Vaughn’s dreams of swooping up the rapper, it seems as though she may not be in a rush to go public with anybody else after such a tumultuous break-up with Quavo.

Check out the posts above and let us know who you think she’d be good with.

Drake & Lil Baby’s “Wants And Needs” Hits Gold Status

Following a series of delays from the originally-projected January 21′ release date, the release of Drake’s Certified Lover Boy appears to be on the way. In order to tide fans over, Drizzy delivered a sequel to Scary Hours on March 5th, a three-song effort with guest appearances from Lil Baby and Rick Ross. Unsurprisingly, the EP is already moving impressive numbers, with lead single “What’s Next” having already sold five-hundred album-equivalent units.

Now, the project appears to have spawned another gold single. According to Our Generation Music, the Lil Baby-assisted “Wants And Needs,” which happens to be the EP’s second track, has also moved five-hundred-thousand. Though it has yet to be officially certified by the RIAA, don’t be surprised to see Drizzy lining his walls with a new batch of shiny gold plaques soon enough.

At this rate, the only song from Scary Hours 2 that hasn’t yet hit the five-hundred-thousand benchmark is the Rick Ross-assisted “Lemon Pepper Freestyle.” Surprising in a way, as there are many who consider the lyrically-focused closer a bonafide project highlight; in fact, some even believe that Drake raps some of his best bars in years on the lavish Renzel collaboration. While cynics might conclude that bars don’t quite have the mainstream appeal they once had, it’s likely that “Lemon Pepper” will join the party soon enough — after all, it did join its fellow Scary Hours 2 cuts in an impressive Hot 100 top 3 takeover

Congratulations to Drizzy for yet another display of commercial dominance.

D’Angelo Russell Roasted After Untimely LaMelo Ball Slight

Last night was a bad one for the NBA as one of the league’s most exciting rookies suffered a season-ending wrist injury. Of course, we are talking about LaMelo Ball who was leading the charge to win the coveted rookie of the year award. Ball is one of those players who is constantly making big plays and displaying flashy moves, but unfortunately, we won’t be seeing him again until next season.

Most fans were extremely sad about this news although some used it to push their agenda. One of those people was none other than D’Angelo Russell who immediately took to Twitter and made a case for Anthony Edwards as the rookie of the year, all while using the yawning emoji, almost as if he couldn’t care less about Melo’s injury.

This reaction immediately ignited some heft reactions on social media as most fans took this as a sign of blatant disrespect towards Melo. Sometimes, you just have to read the room and it’s clear that Russell wasn’t exactly doing that here. He has yet to delete the tweet, which just goes to show that he loves the controversy.

As for Melo, hopefully, he can get well soon as the league is much more fun with him in it.

Polo G Freestyles Over “BeatBox”, “Whoopty”, & “No More Parties”

Putting in work over three of the hottest songs at the moment, Chicago rapper Polo G just dropped three new freestyles to start off the week. The 1300 representative has risen to become one of the most well-respected young rappers in the game and he continues to impress with his new releases. Recently, Polo Capalot has been expressing more angst in his delivery, which intensifies in his new freestyles over “BeatBox” and “Whoopty”.

Dropping the “For My Fans” freestyle on his videographer Ryan Lynch’s YouTube, Polo G went in on some of the hottest beats by SpottemGotem, CJ, and Coi Leray. He starts off by bringing an aggressive approach to “BeatBox” before dropping bars on the famous “Whoopty” beat before slowing things down on Coi Leray’s “No More Parties”.

Listen to the new freestyles from Polo G below and stay tuned for his new album, which he’s been teasing on social media.

Quotable Lyrics:

Hell nah, don’t invite me to your function
We’ll light it up for nothin’, keep a pipe, know how we comin’
What’s my age? I’m 1300
All this fame be hard to stomach
From all that pain and all that sufferin’
Like I got survivors guilt from my past, I’m always runnin’

LaMelo Ball’s Wrist Injury Shocks & Disappoints Fans

LaMelo Ball has been one of the best rookies in the entire NBA so far this season and fans have been loving his flashy style and unique passes. As of last night, it seemed like Melo was a lock to win the rookie of the year trophy, especially when you consider his impressive stat line. Unfortunately, LaMelo was injured pretty badly while falling to the ground in the midst of a match last night.

Essentially, Melo landed on his hand which reportedly broke his wrist. These injuries are always devastating for basketball players, and now, it looks like Ball will have to miss the rest of the season, which puts his rookie of the year campaign at risk.

The Hornets were relying on Melo’s talents at the point guard position although now, they will have to try and make the playoffs without him, which is much easier said than done. The injury is a huge blow to the league, as Melo was one of the few players putting forth a 100 percent effort.

As you can imagine, fans were quite distraught about the injury, and the reactions on social media prove that. In the tweets below, you can see exactly how the fans were feeling. Let us know what you think about all of this, in the comments below.

Thomas Middleditch Accused Of Sexual Misconduct At Hollywood Club

A woman in Los Angeles is accusing Silicon Valley star Thomas Middleditch of sexual misconduct as apart of a broader exposé by Los Angeles Times regarding the now-closed Hollywood club, Cloak & Dagger. The report claims club owners Adam Bravin and Michael Patterson routinely turned a blind eye to sexual misconduct in the venue.

The woman, Hannah Harding, alleges that Middleditch approached her on the dance floor and made “lewd sexual overtures” toward her and her girlfriend. After shooting down numerous advances, the Times writes that he “kept pursuing her, groping her in front of her friends and several employees, including the club’s operations manager, Kate Morgan.”

Morgan claims when she informed Bravin and Patterson, they “dismissed it.”

Harding shared DMs from Middleditch, in which, he apologizes for his behavior. “I had no idea my actions were that weird for you,” he wrote. “… I am so ashamed I made you uncomfortable.”

The woman added that she saw Middleditch groping other women that night as well.

“As far as I am aware, they reported every incident to us, and to my knowledge, we dealt with every single issue brought to our attention,” Patterson said in a statement.

Bravin added: “Our goal from day one was to create the safest space possible.”

Bravin and Patterson closed the club in January shortly after the Times reached out for comment.
