Drake Gets An Owl Braided Into His Hair
Drake showed off a new hairstyle on social media, this week, featuring an owl braided into his hair. An owl is also famously the logo for Drake’s OVO brand. It’s not the first time that Drake has gotten creative with his hairstyle. The Certified Lover Boy rapper previously had a heart shape shaved into the front of his head.
Response from fans to the new look was mostly positive. “One thing about Aubrey, that wig NEVA took a day off!” one user commented. Another wrote: “The girl who do his hair is [fire emoji] she so good with the braids on anybody hair.” One fan claimed that Drake is attempting to look like A$AP Rocky out of jealousy over Rihanna. “Anything to look like ASAP Rocky. Just cut it Aubrey baby she’s pregnant again,” they wrote.

As for music, Drake is gearing up for a tour with his Her Loss partner, 21 Savage. The two are planning to hit the road together later this year. Drake made the announcement during one of his shows at the Apollo Theater in New York City. “I was telling them earlier but.. ff you guys enjoy that experience, feel free to come see and my brother this Summer,” he said earlier this year.
At the same show, Drake also teased that he’s considering releasing another album at some point this year as well. “I appreciate all of those people that stick by me.… but I deeply appreciate everybody for continuing to support us,” he said. “I’ve thought about a bunch of things in life, but at this moment in time none of those things are stopping making music for you, so I’ll be here for you for a little bit at least. Dream Doll Shows off New Hair After A Big Chop To Help Fans Learn From Her Unhealthy Hair Mistakes
Dream Doll is ending the year with a brand-new style! The “Life In Plastic 3” rapper went to her Instagram stories on Sunday to show off her newest hairstyle, and to share her unhealthy hair journey with her fans in hopes that they can learn from her mistakes. To give her a refresh, her long-time stylist Arrogant Tae chopped off a few inches so that she could begin the process of growing out her strands in a healthy way.
She shared her hair journey through a series of posts, pictures, and videos that showed her hair process, color changes, and style choices that lead to breakage and damage. Also asking her followers for suggestions on protective styles that help to put your hair on rest to give it a chance to grow.
Fast forward two days later Dreamdoll shows a video of her wearing and running her hands through a hand full of braids done by Glam718 Salon and Spa in New York City, in New York City.
. If you find your hair is falling out here are a few tips from the experts to bring those strands back to good health.
- Cut off all damage like Dreamdoll did if you are not comfortable wearing short hair then you can always wear braids or wigs to cover it up until you get the desired length you need.
- Always use a leave-in conditioner to help strengthen your strands in between your next wash. Ashanti Shares Her Pre- Performace Beauty Prep And The Products She Uses To Keep It All Together
While everyone was discussing the Murder Inc, documentary “The Murder Inc.Story” on BET with Irv Gotti, Ashanti was on the road doing what she does best, performing. The singer, songwriter, and author, along with former label mate Ja Rule was in Boise Idaho at the ICCU Grandstand at the Western Idaho Fair singing all their hits, Ashanti even gave her fans of some new music. While waiting backstage for her set to begin, the Grammy Award winner went on LIVE to give her fans a glimpse of what it’s like backstage pre-show and to do her occasional check-in with her supporters. We watched as she was getting herself hyped to perform and clearly enjoying Ja Rule’s performance and she sang along. After a quick phone check, she then realizes that she had a few touchups that needed to happen stating “Wait I have to lay my sideburns down and asks her mother to spruce them up before she went on stage. Her mom then appears with the go-to tools to lay sideburns down like a toothbrush and gel and proceeds to work on them, Ashanti had specific instructions on how she wanted them done “You don’t have to do a swirl” meaning she prefers then straight and not swooped. She also revealed how hot it was out there saying “it’s on fire” the temperature when we checked the temperature in Idaho was a steamy 96 degrees at 6 pm. “I never liked having hair” Doja explained to her 24.1 million followers Thursday night after revealing a new buzz cut during an Instagram live. She was clearly having a transformative moment, mentally and physically and we were all here for it to listen and watch the ‘Kiss Me More’ singer let go of the very thing her fans never see, her natural hair she explains because she is constantly wearing wigs. “What is the use of having hair if you’re not gonna wear it out, I don’t even sport it. ” Doja says as she talked about her decision to shave off her head. “I feel like I was never supposed to have hair anyway. I never liked having hair. I cannot tell you one time, since the beginning of my life, that I’ve ever been like, ‘This is cool.’ I just do not like to have hair,” she said. The Grammy winner also explained how she’s felt “so f***ing exhausted when working out” while wearing wigs on her head. Admitting to fans how her wigs would get tacky and start pealing off of her head due to moisture and sweat and how she couldn’t focus on the workout as she was more concerned with the way she looked and how her hair was doing. “First of all, I don’t wear my hair out. I don’t wear it natural cause I don’t feel like it. It’s just a f***ing nightmare, dude. I’m over it.” she goes on to say “ What is the use of having hair if you’re not going to wear it out I don’t even sport it.”
After debuting her new buzz cut, with a razor in hand Doja went in to also shave her eyebrows off making the decision to cut it live even revealing that her makeup artist was in a frenzy watching it and was driving over while she did it. After she finished shaving one side she looked in the mirror and lets out a big oooooohhhhn and a smile.
It doesn’t look like the singer /rapper regrets one bit of her transformation, admitting to fans that she’s obsessed with her new look. Sometimes you gotta let it go just to keep your sanity. Thank you Doja for your honesty and for sharing your very personal transformation with us.
