Chloe And Gunna Were Seen Holding Hands Which Sparked Dating Rumors Once Again

It was just a little over two months ago that dating rumors between Chloe Bailey and Gunna began. Back in October, the pair was spotted courtside together at an Atlanta Hawks basketball game against the Dallas Mavericks. As expected, images of thw two caused quite a storm on social media, but Gunna later denied that things were more than platonic between him and Chloe. “We’re not dating,” he said at the time. “That was just like a date, though, where you just go to the game and catch a vibe. But she’s my friend.”

However, that was in 2021. The pair was once again spotted together at a recent basketball game, this one between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Sacramento Kings. Once the game concluded, Chloe and Gunna were seen holding hands outside the arena. Many jumped on social media to share their thoughts about the video.

Gunna recently revealed the tracklist for his upcoming project Drip Season 4, which includes features from Chloe herself as well as Drake, Young Thug, and more.

Gunna’s ‘Drip Season 4’ Tracklist includes Tracks With Chloe Bailey, Drake, And More

The rollout for Gunna’s new mixtape, Drip Season 4, appears to be going smoothly. Just days after he announced the tape’s imminent release date — this Friday, January 7 — he revealed the elaborate cover art. Now, he’s also revealed the tracklist, which not only includes the previously released single “Too Easy” featuring Future and the remix with Roddy Ricch but also contains the collaborative track with Chloe Bailey he teased while refuting the dating rumors that circulated after he and the pop star were spotted at a basketball game together.

In addition to the above-mentioned tracks, there will also be guest appearances from a number of longtime collaborators and friends such as 21 Savage, Drake, G Herbo, Lil Baby, and Young Thug, as well as new collaborators Kodak Black and Yung Bleu. Clocking in at 20 tracks, the tape follows the contemporary trend of longer releases to generate more impressive streaming numbers.

Drip Season 4 will be Gunna’s first solo release since 2020’s Wunna, although he was extensively featured on the YSL Records compilation Slime Language 2 alongside the rest of Young Thug’s label signees. Ahead of the project’s release, the Atlanta native called it the final Drip Season tape.

Drip Season 4 is due 1/7 via 300 and Atlantic. You can pre-save it here.

Gunna Reveals The Cover To ‘Drip Season 4,’ His Final Installment Of The Mixtape Series

After taking 2021 off (mostly; he was heavily involved in the recording of YSL Records’ Slime Language 2), Gunna splashily announced his return earlier this week with the fourth and final installment of his Drip Season mixtape series. Drip Season 4, which is due this Friday, January 7, is the first Drip Season tape in nearly four years, with Drip Season 3 dropping in February of 2018. Today, Gunna shared the cover, which transforms his face, as with previous versions of the cover. However, this time, in keeping with his increased status in the rap game, his transformation leans more toward epic than monstrous.

Whereas previous versions added fangs or bite masks to Gunna’s face, this latest one renders him as a bust that is cracking and crumbling, like a neglected work of art. It suggests both the end of an era and a mighty legacy worth rendering in stone — even if only temporarily. In a press release, the cover designer, contemporary artist Daniel Arsham, echoed this sentiment. “I’ve been a fan of Gunna’s music for quite some time and was pleased when he reached out to me a number of months ago through DM with questions about my work,” he said. “He was very curious about how some of the pieces that I create are made. He was intrigued about the crystal materials I use and the idea of time travel and the future, present within the works. We connected in person a few times and at some point, he asked if I wanted to work on the DS4 album cover with him.”

Prior to the announcement, Gunna released the Future-featuring single “Too Easy” and its remix, which features Roddy Ricch. They, along with “9 Times Outta 10,” constituted the Atlanta rapper’s first solo work since 2020’s Wunna. In the time since, Gunna’s profile has risen to the point of receiving a day honoring his achievements in Fulton County, Georgia, where he grew up.

Gunna Announces The Release Date For His Upcoming Album, ‘Drip Season 4’

Gunna has spent the last few months promoting his next album, which he previously revealed is titled Drip Season 4. The musician started promoting it back in August with the single “9 Times Outta 10,” featuring producer Taurus. A month later, he returned “Too Easy,” featuring Future and which was later remixed by Roddy Ricch. Both songs left fan to wonder when the full album would arrive. Finally, on New Year’s Day, he gave an answer.

Gunna shared a post of what appears to be a clip from a music video for an upcoming song, which is reportedly titled “Pushin P” and which features contributions from Young Thug and Future. In the caption, Gunna wrote, “DS4 1-7-22 #HNY,” confirming that the album will arrive in less than a week on January 7.

Drip Season 4 will be Gunna’s first album since 2020’s Wunna, which became a fan favorite by the end of the year. It’s also the first installment in the series, which Gunna began back in 2015, since 2018’s Drip Season 3.
