Stephen A. Smith has co-signed a fan request to appear in GTA 6. After a fan said that the game needed a radio station featuring Smith, the ESPN personality replied, saying “I do love me some Vice City” and tagging GTA developer Rockstar Games. Smith’s bombastic style would be perfect for the spoken interstitials between the tracks of licensed music played on the in-game radio stations. Hell, maybe Rockstar could add a side quest where you have to help the in-game Smith deal with his rival, the in-game version of Skip Bayless.
GTA 6 is due to be released next year. Rockstar finally teased the game at the end of 2023. Fittingly for Smith’s musing, the game is due to return to Vice City, the in-universe version of Miami. However, fans are still waiting for more substantial news about the game following Rockstar’s initial vibes-based trailer. What is known currently is that GTA 5‘s multi-protagonist mechanic is returning and that one of the playable characters will be a woman for the first time in the history of the series.

5. Play As A Female Protagonist
Rumors have been circulating that Grand Theft Auto VI may feature a playable female character for some time now. The first teaser trailer seemingly reveals this to be true by introducing Lucia. Lucia looks to be engaged in a series of Bonnie and Clyde-style robberies with her male partner Jason. While gamers initially had negative reactions to the rumor of a female main character, the trailer seems to have gotten overwhelmingly positive responses from fans. Several GTA fans have even taken to social media to joke about the realities of playing as a woman in the mean streets of Vice City, and what that entails for style and gameplay options.
In addition to a female lead, the trailer features a host of flashy classic cars. Vice City is rich with residents and visitors flexing their cash, and their hip tricked-out rides are no exception. Eagle-eyed viewers were able to catch glimpses of Porsches, Rolls Royces, and Pegassi Aventadors. Other interesting rides include boats, motorcycles, and even an airboat for cruising through the swamp. Now that TikTok has become the predominant app among young people, the trailer for GTA 6 has taken care to include plenty of shots replicating the vertical UI.

Tesla workers in Sweden have been on strike for six weeks after Telsa refused to sign a collective bargaining agreement with one of Sweden’s biggest unions. Things only got worse for Musk and Tesla as postal workers and dockworkers joined the striking mechanics. This essentially led to a blockade on the import of Teslas and Tesla products into Sweden.
Now, a plan to import the vehicles into Denmark and drive them across the border into Sweden has been scrapped. 3F Transport, one of Denmark’s biggest unions, has agreed to a solidarity strike with IF Metall. This means that a vast majority of Denmark’s truck drivers and dockworkers will refuse to accept Tesla deliveries earmarked for Sweden. Musk, who is famously anti-union, has called the strikes “insane” and has already filed several lawsuits in Sweden. “Even if you are one of the richest in the world, you can’t just make your own rules. We have some labor market agreements in the Nordic region. And you have to comply with them if you want to run a business here,” 3F Transport Chair Jan Villasden said.

GTA 6 is finally coming to gamers, sometime in the near future Although it has been 10 years since GTA 5, we have not gotten a sequel. Leaks have run rampant for years at this point. However, nothing has really been made concrete. Rockstar Games is exceptionally coy about these kinds of things. They will never let their fans know if something new is coming out. Essentially, you have to wait until Rockstar is ready, and not the other way around. They have done this for years, and it has worked for them.
However, today, they finally revealed that a trailer for GTA 6 is going to come out next month. Essentially, to celebrate the 25-year anniversary of the company, Rockstar wants to give fans something special. That said, this does not mean the game is imminent. In fact, the game could still come out months from now. Regardless, there are fans out there who remain optimistic that something will be released, sooner rather than later.

According to a report from Dexerto, GTA 6 is going to cost a grand total of $1 billion to make. In fact, the final production costs will probably be larger than that. When GTA 6 was created, it had the largest budget of any piece of media in the history of entertainment. Of course, it was eventually surpassed as budgets began to grow and inflation consumed the industry. With this budget north of $1 billion, it seems like Rockstar Games is looking to take its record back.
For those of you who want to play GTA 6, well, you will have to be patient. If you can survive 10 years without a new game, what’s another two? Grand Theft Auto 5 Has Been Around for Years

The release date for Grand Theft Auto 6 seems elusive for all players. This is because the game’s creator, Rockstar, still makes content for Grand Theft Auto 5. The game was initially released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013. Since then, the game has been upgraded for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 – as well as the Xbox counterpart.
For many players, this shows two things: the power of technology and how some things can be changed to keep up with current times. It also shows that Rockstar wants to continue working on something existing instead of making something new. Some players appreciate that new content is still being added. They enjoy that new missions, vehicles, clothes, and other features are still being put in the game. Other players would prefer the studio focus on creating a new game altogether.
Players are asking about the release date for GTA 6 every day. People often share how long they have been playing the game in a frustrated way. When the PS5 version of the game was first announced, they rewarded players on the PS4. Players received one million dollars of in-game currency every month until the PS5 version was released. For many players this was an incentive to keep playing.
Rockstar has not shared the release date for GTA 6. One issue that players have is the mystery surrounding the game. In 2023, video game studios pride themselves on being transparent with their players. Many games have dedicated Twitter accounts for assisting players with issues they may have in a game. Additionally, they have regularly posted blogs with announcements or reveals.
Franchises like Call of Duty use a Trello board where players can see specific aspects of the game being worked on. Rockstar has not been transparent about their process with GTA 6. In fact, the only thing players have heard is “the next entry in the series is well underway.” This came from a tweet from Rockstar in February 2022.
Players have been clinging to leaks and rumors. The only confirmed report suggests the year 2024 as a release window. This did not come directly from Rockstar but through Microsoft – which created Xbox. However, before this, the year 2025 was rumored and once again – not stated by Rockstar. Leaks have confirmed rumors of the game being set in a modern-day version of Vice City. That was the location of Grand Theft Auto’s 2002 game of the same name based in Miami. These leaks also confirmed that players could control at least two main protagonists in the story mode – a man (Jason) and a woman (Lucia). The latter would be a first for the series on next-gen consoles.
The Grand Theft Auto songs from the radio stations are just as essential as the gameplay. Listening to the radio stations is one of the best parts of GTA V. Players have a wide variety of stations to choose from with multiple music genres. One of the fascinating aspects of these stations was the DJs that hosted them. These ranged from cemented legends like Bootsy Collins and Pam Grier to modern legends like Frank Ocean. Since the game has been out so long, they even added a new station with popular songs from this current time. Since talking about GTA 6 is something players will do until it is fully revealed, we’ve gathered some of our favorite stations we want to see in the upcoming game.
Space 103.2
We want to see songs from this station in GTA 6 because sometimes you need to appreciate the old school. Bootsy Collins hosts this one and does an excellent job at it. We welcome his iconic voice and catchphrases when we hear them between songs. This station is home to funk songs of the ’70s and early ’80s. Additionally, Bootsy’s classic hit “I’d Rather Be With You” is on this station but there are other great funk songs too. These include “Flash Light” by Parliament and “Back and Forth” by Cameo. However, these songs are usually more celebrated by a generation ahead of most GTA players, but they still sound good. We think this station should return because while GTA Online is a warzone, you can still find time to dance while speeding around.
The Lowdown 91.1
Once again, songs from this station being in GTA 6 help us appreciate the old school. Host Pam Grier is an iconic actress from the ’70s until today, and naturally, she plays music from decades ago. These songs are all soul, and many of the artists are groups with “The” in their names. Hearing artists that sound like weekend cleaning music we grew up on is a significant contrast to the antics of GTA, but it works. Pam Grier’s cool and clever rhymes match the station’s atmosphere well. Furthermore, her DJ name is “Mama G,” which, again, fits the theme of the station perfectly. Those who appreciate soulful samples might find some on this station they recognize.
iFruit Radio
We would like to see songs from this station in GTA 6 because it gives us modern music. Other stations have multiple songs from the 2010s, and forward; however, this one was different. When they added it to the game in 2019, it had songs that were playing on radios in real life that day. These included chart-toppers like “Hot (Remix)” by Young Thug feat. Gunna and Travis Scott, and “Cash Sh*t” by Megan Thee Stallion feat. DaBaby. Danny Brown and Skepta hosted this station, and Danny brought his signature laugh and humor with him. For some players, GTA is enjoyed separately from the real world. However, sometimes we want a slight overlap. With a station like this in GTA 6, we can hear our favorite big hits of the time.
Blonded Los Santos 97.8
We may not get songs for this station exactly in GTA 6, but we should get some sort of equivalent. Frank Ocean hosts this station as himself, along with Vegyn, Roof Access, and Fed. Frank Ocean’s Blonde album was released in 2016. They added this station to the game in 2017. Naturally, there are several songs from his discography on this station, including tracks from Blonde. With Frank being the music lover he is, there is a wide range of music on this station. Artists played ranged from Jay-Z to Lil Uzi Vert to Marvin Gaye. With Frank’s reclusive behavior, it’s not likely he’ll return for a station like this. However, getting a station from someone as unique as him would be interesting. Perhaps Donald Glover or LaKeith Stanfield?
West Coast Classics
This is a station we want songs from in GTA 6. However, we may not get it. The game is rumored to take place in a Miami-esque location that is not West Coast-based like Los Santos. However, the game is also rumored to have multiple locations, so we’ll just have to wait and see. This station is home to classics from the ’90s West Coast rap era. Hosted by DJ Pooh, there are classics from Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, N.W.A and more. In GTA Online, you can get a supercar just as quickly as a lowrider. You’ll probably enjoy riding around listening to this station more in the latter.
The Lab
This station would have a lot of songs to choose from in GTA 6. It is hosted by The Alchemist and Oh No, whose DJ personas are Chemical Bro and Dr. No. It plays songs from their collab album The Alchemist and Oh No Present: Welcome to Los Santos. Furthermore, these are the only songs it plays. However, this station still has range, including Little Dragon, Ab-Soul, Samuel T. Herring, and more.
They added this station to the game in 2015, and The Alchemist has released much music since then. An updated version could include songs he’s produced for Boldy James, Conway The Machine, and Larry June. Furthermore, these artists mention various situations involving cars in their music all the time. It’s only right they include them in GTA 6.
Radio Los Santos
We know the songs on this station will be under a different name in GTA 6. For one, the game doesn’t take place in Los Santos. Its host, the real-life DJ Big Boy, is also a staple in west coast radio. GTA 6 takes place on the east coast…allegedly. GTA V was initially released in 2013, and many songs on the station were released that year, too. For players, this made the game feel like it was truly happening in the present time. Having the same concept in GTA 6 would be a great move. Further, an even better one would be to have an east coast DJ host it. Maybe Funkmaster Flex? We think hearing his bombs while throwing bombs at enemies in the game would pair nicely.
