Jeezy Explains Meaning Behind “Adversity For Sale” Book Title

Jeezy recently discussed the title of his new book, Adversity For Sale, explaining that he hopes the memoir serves as inspiration for his audience to achieve their dreams. He spoke about the book during a new sit-down with Good Morning America.

“I think people always tell you about their success stories, but one thing that I’ve learned about life is that in every failure there’s a lesson,” Jeezy said. “And every time I ever failed it set me up for my next task. I think to share your failures with your community and your peers and people that love you. They’ll just start to understand that it’s never too late, and that they can always push through, because sometimes you get in situations where you think it’s the end when it’s really the beginning.”

He continued: “This book is for people who want to do better today than they did yesterday because, especially being a Black man in America, coming up we always had to fight to get our voice heard, and I think this book can help anybody who has to fight to get to where they’re trying to be. Because you have to start from the bottom to get to the top. But once you get to the top you gotta know how to stay there. Success is about you.” Check out Jeezy’s full comments below.

Ye Admits to Being Wrong on Good Morning America: ‘Sway Had the Answers’

Ye Admits to Being Wrong on Good Morning America: 'Sway Had the Answers'

Kanye West is continuing his media rounds during his fight with apparel giants adidas and Gap. Appearing on Good Morning America, Ye was questioned about his business dealings by journalist Linsey Davis, who brought up the near 10-year-old clip in which radio legend Sway questioned his desire to seek corporate partners instead of going direct to consumer.

“Why don’t you empower yourself and don’t need them and do it yourself,” Sway asked. Kanye famously replied, “You ain’t got the answers, Sway.”

Davis brought up that moment in conversation with Ye, “Was he right?”

Kanye replied, “You know what, I will go ahead and say Sway had the answer. I know people are going to be like ‘no!’”

Elsewhere in the club, Kanye spoke about working on his co-parenting relationship with Kim Kardashian, his DONDA Academy, and eventually running for president again. Speaking on his past run, Ye said, “That time wasn’t in God’s time.”

Kanye West Apologizes To Kim Kardashian For ‘Any Stress’ He Has Caused

In recent years, there has been a lot of tension between Kanye West and Kim Kardashian for various reasons, whether it’s related to their children or Pete Davidson or something else. Now, Ye is owning up to it in a new Good Morning America interview today (September 22).

The conversation is set to air this morning and in an advance teaser clip, West says of Kardashian, “This is the mother of my children and I apologize for any stress that I have caused.”

The tweet sharing the video also promises the interview will see Ye touch on “Kim Kardashian, fatherhood, social media, fashion, politics, and the Donda Academy.”

In another advance clip, West was asked if he feels social media is more “hurtful or beneficial” and he responded, “Oh, that’s one of my favorite questions this interview. I mean, we can use a car to rush somebody to the hospital, or we could use a car and accidentally hit somebody while we’re rushing somebody to the hospital, so it’s all in how we use it.”

The interview is set to air this morning on Good Morning America and later today on ABC News Live and Nightline. In the meantime,

Bun B’s Trill Burgers Wins GMA’s Best Burger in the USA Competition

3 Bun B and Trill Burgers are bringing the Golden Burger Trophy back to Houston

On Good Morning America‘s “United States of Burgers” competition on Friday morning in Times Square, Houston rapper Bun B’s Trill Burgers won the honor of serving the greatest burger in the country.

Bun B competed live on national television against Lucky’s Last Chance of Philadelphia, The Companion of Atlanta, and Babe’s Meat & Counter of Miami with the assistance of Trill Burgers chef Mike Pham. Trill Burgers received votes from three of the five judges, including celebrity chef Gina Neely, WWE wrestler Titus O’Neil, former NBA player Jalen Rose, former NFL player Tiki Barber, and ABC’s Sam Champion, to win the $10,000 grand prize and the Golden Burger Trophy.

“It’s so surreal that it doesn’t make sense,” Bun B said. “To be in Times Square having won the best burger in America live on Good Morning America, it’s not even in the realm of things that we would have imagined for this brand. We just wanted to put in hard work and be justified for what we did, and today we got the ultimate validation. I can’t wait to bring this burger to America.”

Trill Burgers will make its next trip at the Rock The Bells music festival on August 6 in Queens, New York, where it will offer its renowned beef and vegan smashburgers within the Bun B-curated Trill Mealz Hip-Hop Food Court. With a brick-and-mortar establishment in Houston on the horizon, Trill Burgers will shortly announce its following pop-up in Houston.
