In a new clip, DaBaby is seen teaching Gianni Paolo of Power how to properly tie a durag. The clip shows the actor struggling before DaBaby steps in to assist him. As DaBaby puts the durag on him, Paolo says “God, this just feels right.” DaBaby agrees, telling the actor that he’ll be sure to get him more “in every color.”

The clip comes from a behind the scenes YouTube video of a recent music video shoot posted by Paolo. He stars in DaBaby’s new music video for “SHAKE SUMN (Remix)” featuring Sexyy Red. The actor is shown rocking the durag in the video, which explains why he had to get some help from DaBaby. The video also features DaBaby dressed up as a fireman, while Paolo is tied up and twerked on by Sexyy Red.

Recently, Gianni Paolo also revealed that he has a thing for Coi Leray. He spoke to TMZ, claiming that the “Players” artist actually left him on read not too long ago. “Team single for life — unless it’s Coi Leray,” he told the outlet, “I mean she left me on read a couple weeks ago, which is cr*zy.” He further shared that he came on strong when shooting his shot. “I just said like, ‘You’re my wife,’” he explained, “that’s the opening line always. DaBaby also recently shared a heartfelt birthday message for 50 Cent, the co-creator of Power, on social media. “I tell you all the time words can’t express how much I appreciate the relationship I got with you,” he wrote, “Since the day I met ya you done gave me a life time worth of game & motivation.” He went on to call 50 Cent a “walking BLESSING,” telling him “you the last role model I got left!”

Prior to the Canadian, the “Bops” hitmaker was also linked to Blueface and Trippie Redd, proving that she doesn’t exactly have a type, though she does seem to be into fellow creatives – specifically rappers – and men with melanin. This was further confirmed during a new TMZ interview with Gianni Paolo, in which the Power actor revealed that Leray recently left him on read.

After facing rejection from Leray, Paolo shared the DMs with co-star Michael Rainey Jr., who said, “Damn, that’s cold.” Apparently, the Rhode Island-born star had been chatting with his crush the week before, but things suddenly went cold. Power producer Fif didn’t advise Gianni on the big move, but the latter did make it clear he’s down for the “Candy Shop” hitmaker to work some magic. “50 if you can set me up with Coi Leray, let’s go — let’s get it going,” he eagerly shared, noting that he already has an extravagant first date planned.

She may have left Gianni Paolo on read, but Coi Leray certainly didn’t give Boosie Badazz the same treatment when he showed support for her new COI album. Despite only selling 10K copies in its first week out, the Louisana native believes his young friend should have done numbers three times those with her sophomore effort. Lil Meech Flexes On Gianni Paolo & The “Power” Cast

Beef between the “BMF” cast and the “Power” cast is nothing new at this point, and it’s been to varying degrees of playfulness. Despite them both coming from more or less the same creative mind, namely 50 Cent, there’s still friendly and not-so-friendly debates between the two groups over which show is better. Well, that might be a misspeak, because it’s evolved further into a question of status, success, and private planes. Moreover, Lil Meech just posted an Instagram video of the “BMF” crew on what appears to be a private jet with luxury bags and items. Not only that, but Meech claimed that he’s “never seen” any of the folks from “Power,” naming Gianni Paolo and Michael Rainey Jr. specifically, living this large.

Of course, both shows are hugely successful and popular, so at a certain point, it’s like grasping at straws. Regardless, especially for Lil Meech and the rest of the cast and crew of both shows, that competition is something that fuels them to come back stronger in the next season. As such, maybe this is the kind of attitude that other shows should have at each other, the same way that a competitive edge pushes some other professions into greatness. Still, the material flexes are some of the most cheeky in this regard, and fans shouldn’t take them too seriously.

Earlier this year, Power stars Joseph Sikora and Gianni Paolo’s beef was made public.

The conflict began when 50 Cent took the stage for the Power theme song during Tycoon Weekend. The actors from Power entered the stage during the performance. The majority of the Power cast members greeted Paolo on stage, with the exception of Sikora. On camera, the Tommy actor is seen shoving Paolo’s hand away when the latter tries to dap him up.

Paolo’s Power: Ghost co-star Michael Rainey Jr. revealed the beef was over while teasing their upcoming episode of The Crew Has It Podcast.
