Bankroll Freddie’s Father Sentenced For Drug Trafficking Conviction

Bankroll Freddie received his prison sentence of 12-and-a-half years last month for his role in a drug trafficking operation. Now, his father Freddie Gladney Jr. received his sentence this week, and will have to serve nine-and-a-half years in jail. Specifically, the court cited the “large quantities of drugs” that he distributed, plus his significant damage to the community, as reasons for why the sentence is so long. In addition, Gladney Jr. was the main defendant in this 35-person case that also drew three of his sons into the equation, which includes the Arkansas rapper.

Furthermore, Bankroll Freddie recently blasted the prosecution in response to his legal fate. “Ain’t No Way These Folks Gave Me 12 Years &1/2 On Marijuana & A Gun On A First Time Offender,” he wrote on social media. “Never Been In No Trouble … My Guideline Went From 60-78 Months Which is 5-6 &1/2 Years To 9-10 Years Off Bogus Upward Variance… These Prosecutors And Judges Have A Vendetta Against Me In My State For Fighting Them… Every Charge I Beat On My Case They Gave Me Upward Variance … If That’s The Case I Could Of Just Copied The Plea For Less Time Then That Come On Make It Make Sense… The Judge & Prosecutors Mad I Went To Trial & Beat 7 Out Of 10 Charges & I Didn’t Bow Down To Them …

Bankroll Freddie Found Guilty On Drug & Weapons Charges

According to an AllHipHop report, a court found Bankroll Freddie guilty of multiple charges related to a massive federal gun and drug bust in Arkansas. Moreover, these charges include possession and distribution of marijuana, along with other controlled substances, plus multiple counts of drug possession with intent to distribute and crimes relating to weapons possession. However, he also reportedly evaded several serious charges with this verdict, although it’s unclear at press time what specific charges he was acquitted for. Furthermore, this legal saga formed part of a wider initiative in the state to strictly and firmly combat gun and drug proliferation.

This crackdown eventually caught up to Bankroll Freddie back in 2022, and comprises a much more large-scale indictment and investigation concerning drug and weapons trafficking in Arkansas. In terms of how the charges connect, the FBI reported that gun distribution and possession played a role in advancing the primary drug trade that the indicted individuals worked in. In fact, this litigation accused two specific gangs, the Every Body Killas and the Loady Murder Mobb, of being at the center of narcotics activity in the state. Still, it’s unclear how deep the rapper’s guilty verdict ties him into the other aspects of this case, particularly these groups.

Not only that, but Bankroll Freddie’s link to illegal drug and gun activity in his state is, according to the FBI, a family matter. The Arkansas MC, real name Freddie Gladney III, apparently involved himself in this scheme through his father Freddie Gladney Jr. and through a few siblings, as well. Their evidence is alleged wire-tapped audio that details the drug dealing plot and how Gladney Jr. supposedly gave his children different roles to fulfill. However, this is all hard to scrutinize given the little information readily available on the case for the average user who will come across this case online.

Bankroll Freddie’s Alleged Drug Operation Run By Family: Report

Bankroll Freddie’s alleged drug trafficking operation was also reportedly run by members of his family. Moreover, Freddie faces charges of gang violence and drug trafficking and is at the center of an FBI investigation in Arkansas. According to Arkansas Online, the court denied bond to his father Freddie Gladney on Tuesday (February 28). Furthermore, officials allegedly caught him on wiretaps discussing weapons and drugs with three of his sons and arranging contraband sales with his daughter. After this discovery, all family members implicated are codefendants in the case and investigation.

“I do believe in the presumption of innocence,” U.S. Magistrate Judge Joe Volpe expressed about the situation. “But the wire cases really bring a new facet to the analysis and the strength of the case and you really get to hear about what’s going on and understand what’s going on with an individual.” To elaborate, the rapper faced indictment last November on weapons and drug conspiracy charges. Not only that, but the charges came after looking into the activities EBT and Lodi Murder Mobb, two rival street gangs who faced concurrent investigation.

Furthermore, additional evidence presented in a hearing showed that Gladney involved several of his offspring, including Bankroll Freddie, in the operation. Also, he dealt large quantities of cocaine and marijuana, and allegedly at one point offered to “cook” crack for a son for $100. Moreover, authorities and spectators alike expect him to be in custody for the foreseeable future. What’s more is that the judge stated that no conditions could prevent Gladney from selling drugs by any means possible. Meanwhile, the rapper is still incarcerated in an Arkansas federal prison. In December of 2022, Judge Volpe ordered him to remain in jail while a trial surfaces.

However, more curiously, Bankroll requested that authorities return the property they seized in his arrest. These include various jewelry items, and the court denied such requests for return. While this seems like a much larger case than originally imagined, the circumstances behind his actions definitely shifted with this revelation. Regardless, come back to HNHH for more updates on this story and the latest on Bankroll Freddie.
