After Travis scored a touchdown during the game, the CBS broadcast cut to Jason, who appeared shirtless and banging against the glass of the group’s suite. The Chiefs ended up winning the game by a score of 27-24. Travis finished with 75 yards and two touchdowns.

Taylor Swift’s Stalker Arrested Ahead Of Chiefs-Bills Game

A man accused of trying to break into Taylor Swift’s apartment in New York City was arrested on Saturday, ahead of the singer’s trip to Buffalo to watch her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Bills in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs. The New York Post reports that police answered a call regarding a “disorderly person” on Franklin Street in Tribeca.

“Upon arrival, (police) were informed that the individual attempted to open a door to a building at the location,” a public information officer told the Post. An eyewitness cited by the outlet also said: “I first saw him around 1:00 PM — he went up to Taylor’s door. I’m not sure if he knocked or rang the doorbell.”

Since going public with their relationship, Swift and Kelce have been dealing with all sorts of media attention. Kelce discussed the experience during a press conference back in October. “We’re learning with the paparazzi taking photos from all over the place,” Kelce told reporters at the time. “But at the same time, you know, it comes with it. You’ve got a lot of people that care about Taylor, and for good reason. You’ve just got to keep living and learning and enjoying the moments.”

As of Sunday night, Swift is in attendance at Kelce’s game against the Chiefs. She’s alongside the star tight end’s brother, Jason, who was eliminated from contention, along with the rest of the Philadelphia Eagles, last week. After that loss, he reportedly announced his retirement to his teammates at the age of 36. On his podcast, however, he walked back those remarks. Lamar Jackson Admits He Did “A Lot Of Cursing” During “Inappropriate” Halftime Speech

Lamar Jackson says he gave an impassioned halftime speech filled with “a lot of cursing” during the Baltimore Ravens’ 34-10 win over the Houston Texans in the divisional round of the playoffs on Sunday. After the break, the team scored 24 unanswered points to lock in the victory. When asked about the speech, he described it as “inappropriate” to repeat.

“It would be inappropriate if I said it right here,” Jackson admitted to reporters. “We weren’t doing our job with our unit. In the second half, we wanted to put points on the board, start moving the ball, moving the chains and start looking like ourselves.” After being asked to elaborate on the halftime speech, he said there was “a lot of cursing.”

He’s a very competitive player. He wears his heart on his sleeve. We all know what he wants, and that’s just to win.” While the game was even 10-10 at the half, Jackson and the rest of the Ravens took over for the next two quarters. Jackson finished as the first player in NFL history to put up at least 2 touchdown passes, 2 touchdown runs, 100 yards rushing, and a 100.0 passer rating in the same game.

Bills Roast Patrick Mahomes Ahead Of First Career Road Playoff Game

The Bills had plenty to say about Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes ahead of the teams’ playoff game this weekend. “[Mahomes has] only been here once. So he’s never been here. Simple as that. Pat has never been to the Bills stadium in full. … The environment will be different, and not to say it’s in our favor, but stadium is our favor. Stadium is us. That helps us. I care what nobody says. This is the most dopest feeling I’ve ever had. We’re having two back-to-back playoff games home. Come on now, like we get to leave and go eat wings. It’s cool. So good luck,” Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins said.

Not only is this the first road playoff game of Mahomes’ career, but it’s also just his second trip to Buffalo. The Chiefs and Bills met at Orchard Park during the 2020 season. However, they played in front of an open stadium due to COVID restrictions. The teams other five matchups since Mahomes and Josh Allen entered the league have all taken place at Arrowhead Stadium.

Bills Versus Chiefs: What To Know

Both the Bills and Chiefs finished the season 11-6 but in very different ways. The Bills finished on a six-game winning streak, which started with a win over Kansas City. Meanwhile, after starting 7-3, the Chiefs struggled to find a consistent offensive rhythm in the back half of the season. While they appeared to regain their momentum against the short-handed Dolphins in the Wild Card round, the white-hot Bills are going to be a different challenge entirely.

Per ESPN Bet, the Bills are favored by 3. However, defense is expected to be the key factor, with a sub-50 over/under of 45.5. Furthermore, the Bills are 14-2 in home playoff games since 1970, making Highmark Stadium one of the most imposing playoff fortresses in the NFL. Scheduled for Sunday, it’s expected to be another cold game, with temperatures currently projected for around 20 degrees. Furthermore, the Bills have spent the week practicing amid a second lake-effect snowstorm.

Miami Hurricanes Tight End Granted Ninth Year Of College Eligbility

Cam McCormick has been granted an unprecedented ninth year of college eligibility by the NCAA. “I’m blessed that it was me to go through it because a lot of people would have folded under the pressure — both mentally and physically. But it’s pushed me to be a better person and teammate — everything. I’ve learned so much from every year and everything I’ve had to overcome,” McCormick told ESPN. It will be his second season in Miami.

McCormick first entered college football in 2016 as a three-star prospect for the Oregon Ducks. However, redshirting a true freshman and five seasons in which he has been eligible for a medical redshirt meant that he is now in the unprecedented position that he is now. McCormick has 231 career yards and 4 career touchdowns. He transferred to Miami ahead of the 2023 season to reunite with Mario Cristobal. The Hurricanes ended the season 7-6, ending their season with a 31-24 loss to Rutgers in the Pinstripe Bowl.

College Teammates Share Stores About Jason Kelce

Meanwhile, former college teammates of Jason Kelce have shared stories about the veteran center as he seemingly prepares to retire. “Those two, it was just insane. Like, holy sh-t, these guys are crazy. Those two are really good at drinking beer. They used to love playing Nintendo 64 for hours, smashing the controls and chugging beers at the same time. They would just come up with these random drinking games while playing, and they were incredibly good at it,” Tom DeTemple recalled to The Athletic.

“We were having a party after one of the games and Jason was a little bit inebriated, let’s say, and he ripped the sink out of the wall in one of the bathrooms. And everybody was like, “What the hell? Who is this guy? This walk-on just ripped the freaking sink out of the wall,” Craig Carey said of the older Kelce. Additionally, Isaiah Pead, another former teammate, said that Jason was consistently referred to as “Big Kelc” as opposed to his name.

Cowboys Retain Mike McCarthy, Stephen A. Smith Sounds Off

Despite a blowout loss to Green Bay in the NFL playoffs, the Cowboys have chosen to retain Mike McCarthy as their head coach. “I believe that the direction, the leadership, everything is in place. And I’m not very comfortable talking about myself, but I came here to win a championship. I didn’t come here to get another contract or anything other than that. I came to Dallas to win a world championship, and that’s why I’m standing here. Buy into us,” McCarthy said in a press conference.

However, the decision makes 2024 an all-or-nothing year for the team. In four years under McCarthy, the team has three playoff appearances but just one playoff win. They have posted three consecutive 12-5 seasons but are still yet to reach the conference championship game for the first time since 1995. While Dak Prescott had a career year and was named Second Team All-Pro, the Cowboys continue to collapse when it matters most. Of course, Stephen A. Smith had a lot to say about the decision as well, going off on a loud rant during First Take.

Seahawks Outline Head Coach Search Mentality

Meanwhile, on the other side of the country, the Seahawks outlined what is driving their head coach search. GM John Schneider has said that team ownership has just one directive for his first-ever head coaching search – keep the team’s “positive culture”. “It’s clear. It’s concise. We want to keep our positive culture, everything that’s been created here. There’s so many special people in this building. It’s amazing to be on the phone with all these agents and the people that are interested in this position and to be able to explain to them, ‘Hey, there’s a foundation here that’s incredible,’” Schneider said in his first comments since Pete Carroll was relieved of heading coaching duties after 14 years. Carrol was transitioned to an “advisor” role last week.

Furthermore, Schneider confirmed a change alluded to by Carroll in is final press conference. Schneider, as GM, will have the final say on personnel hires. Previously, Carroll was responsible for his own staff and reported directly to team owner Jody Allen. “Our setup earlier was … the coaching staff did not fall under my umbrella, and now it will. It’s not necessarily a Jody Allen decision or choosing this person or that person; it’s just a contractual situation,” Schneider noted.

Jason Kelce Gifts Signed Jersey To Favorite McDonald’s Employee

Jason Kelce had something more than money when he pulled into his local McDonald’s drive-thru this week. First reported by a local Fox affiliate, Kelce surprised Danielle Bonham, a long-time employee of Kelce’s local McDonald’s, with a signed jersey. “To Danielle, Go Birds! Thank you!” read the inscription.

After Kelce’s Eagles were dumped out of the playoffs by the Buccaneers, reports emerged that Kelce had told his teammates he would be retiring. Kelce is 36 and has played in Philly since the Eagles drafted him in 2011. However, in the most recent episode of New Heights, Kelce clarified that he wasn’t officially retired just yet. “I just don’t think you’re in a position after a game like that to really make that decision. It’s just something that I think, when it’s time to officially announce what’s happening in the future, it’ll be done in a way that’s definitive and pays respect to a lot of people and individuals that have meant a lot to me and what has led to the career I’ve had,” Kelce told his brother.

Jason Kelce Clarifies Retirement Reports

Meanwhile, Jason also used their most recent podcast episode to address the rumors that he had retired. In short – he wasn’t officially gone just yet, but he more than likely would not return for the 2024 season. “I just don’t think you’re in a position after a game like that to really make that decision. There’s too much emotion in the moment. There’s too much going down in the moment to really fully grasp that decision. It’s just something that I think, when it’s time to officially announce what’s happening in the future, it’ll be done in a way that’s definitive and pays respect to a lot of people and individuals that have meant a lot to me and what has led to the career I’ve had,” Kelce told his brother.

Furthermore, the four other six-time All-Pro centers are all Hall of Famers. Kelce returned to the Eagles for 2023 on a one-year contract, which officially expires in March.

Kelce Brothers Shade Simone Biles’ Husband

The Kelce Brothers took some shots at Jonathan Owens, the husband on Simone Biles, during the latest episode of New Heights. “How is Simone Biles on this but her boyfriend [sic] isn’t?” Jason, 36, asked of the Packer before his brother interrupted him. “How am I on this?” Travis asked. However, Travis then circled back around to Jason’s joke. “Owens? Played some good ball over there, I guess,” Travis noted sarcastically.

Furthermore, Travis is one of eight nominees for the PCA Athlete of the Year Award. The other athletes nominated at Giannis Antetokounmpo, Simone Biles, Steph Curry, Coco Gauff, Sabrina Ionescu, LeBron James, and Lionel Messi. Last year, the award (then called The Game Changer Award) was won by Serena Williams.
