Marlon Wayans Wants Kendrick Lamar & Drake To Put An End To Their Beef After Rick Ross Altercation

Marlon Wayans says Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Rick Ross, as well as The Game need to put their ongoing feud to rest. He discussed the beef in a statement on Instagram after Ross was involved in an altercation in Canada, earlier this week, for trying to play “Not Like Us.”

“Dear Hip Hop. It’s all fun and games until people start getting hurt,” he wrote. “Remember this, HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF! I knew Tupac, I knew Biggie. I partied with them, hung out with them, saw them both 20 minutes before they got shot. Violence is real. Everyone can be touched. Don’t entertain the devil. I love @champagnepapi love @richforever love @kendricklamar love @losangelesconfidentinal [The Game] and I say to all my brothers there’s enough for everyone to eat.”

Nicki Minaj Fires Back At Deb Antney For Trying To Make Amends With Lil Kim

Nicki Minaj went off on her former manager, Deb Antney, in a lengthy rant on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday night after the music executive revealed she once tried to squash a beef between the Pink Friday 2 rapper and Lil Kim behind her back. Speaking during a recent interview, Antney explained: “I think that we all would love to see that but people would have to be willing to do that. And to be perfectly honest with you, and [Nicki Minaj] gonna kill me for saying even this, but I did reach out to Kim.”

Afterward, Minaj expectedly was upset. “Isn’t it funny how you left out the biggest part of the story?” she began in her post. “I didn’t ask you to do a THING! You told me AFTER THE FACT & I SCREAMED ON YOU & told you if you reach out to ppl now that you’re being seen around me, they will THINK it’s coming FROM ME so to NEVER do that again w/o discussing it with me FIRST. I said I’d never want that & that now she’d think that message came from me which is not cool.” In between paragraphs, she celebrated the success of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour.

Ebro Darden Doesn’t Know How Drake Recovers From Feud With Kendrick Lamar

Ebro Darden doesn’t know how Drake’s career can recover from taking a loss in his feud with Kendrick Lamar. He discussed where the Toronto rapper can go from here during a show for Apple Music, explaining that he doesn’t feel Drake can act tough anymore.

“I don’t know how Drake comes back,” Ebro began. “I don’t know what his sound is gonna be. Everybody’s like, ‘What got taken from him?’ How does Drake ever talk greasy on a song like you about to do something tough after? Kendrick called you out for coopting the entire Atlanta thing, so what is your slang now? What are you saying now?”

From there, he described how the situation still presents an opportunity for Drake to put on for his hometown. Ebro continued: “But also, there’s an opportunity in that because now it is time. A lot of people in Toronto was like, ‘Toronto got a sound.’ And I was like, ‘Okay, in this battle if Drake would’ve said, ‘You know what, like the Avengers, it’s Toronto versus everybody.” What would that have sounded like? We know when we heard Mustard on the beat, we knew what that was. What is that for them? When it’s time to wage war. Not when it’s time to make a Diddy bop. Not when it’s time to fall in love. Not when it’s time to go on vacation.” Check out the full comments below.

JT Reveals That “Ego” Played A Role In Public Spat With Yung Miami

It goes without saying that collaborators don’t always get along, and the City Girls are certainly no exception. Earlier this year, the duo got into a heated spat on social media, and feelings were hurt despite them making up in a matter of hours. Luckily, JT opened up about how the public disagreement impacted her during a recent chat with Keke Palmer and revealed that now, they’re both able to look back at it and laugh.

I did not want that to happen… When you get to the point of ego…it gets there. You forget to express yourself in a private setting, or you forget to talk like adults,” she explained. “It happened and it was st*pid, and it’s done. It’s over with and now it’s funny to both of us. It’s hilarious to both of us. Now, it’s just a funny thing in time to us.”

JT Opens Up About Clashing With Yung Miami

They’ve yet to reveal exactly what prompted the back and forth, though JT claims that neither of them was in the right. “She should be able to tell her side or how she feel,” she told Palmer. “Because we both were dead a** wrong. It wasn’t no right person in that situation, and I feel like that’s just something that we should talk about as adults.”

As for Yung Miami, she recently explained why the two of them have opted to focus on their solo careers as of late. She claims that when they teamed up to work on music together, it “just wasn’t working no more.” What do you think of JT opening up about her public spat with Yung Miami from earlier this year? Joe Budden Claims He “Passed The Baton” To Pusha T & Kendrick Lamar To Take Down Drake

Joe Budden says Kendrick Lamar’s victory over Drake in their recent feud was a group effort and that he “passed the baton” to Pusha T who then passed it to the “Not Like Us” rapper. He made the admittedly narcissistic comments during a conversation on the JBTV After Hours show on X (formerly Twitter) Spaces. Budden and the Toronto rapper have famously been feuding for many years, while Pusha T dropped his iconic diss track, “The Story of Adidon,” back in 2018.

Budden began by admitting that his comments may “come off the wrong way” or “sound narcissistic,” but further argued: “I don’t think any one man takes down Drake. I think that was a baton. I think I passed the baton to Push. I think Push passed the baton to Kendrick and the job is done now. That’s how I feel in my head and in my heart.”

When DJ Akademiks shared Budden’s comments on Instagram, plenty of Drake fans popped up in the comments section. One top response reads: “What they all FAIL to realize is Drake has something that NONE of them have…. THE WOMEN & POP CULTURE!!!! dont @ Me… this IS NOT a RAP Battle!!!! Its the Music Business!!!!” Others echoed similar sentiments about Drake’s continued popularity. Another wrote: “This further proves that Drake won.. these guys are doing their best to build these narratives and it’s only proving that they ALL begging, wack & weak individuals looking to fight Drake for solely being successful.”

Yungeen Ace Drops Foolio Diss Track, “Do It,” Just Hours After His Death

Yungeen Ace, who was engaged in a serious feud with Foolio for years, dropped a new song titled, “Do It,” just hours after news of the Florida rapper’s death became public. “Catch his ass and do his ass, you know he’s finished,” Ace raps at one point in the track. Foolio was shot and killed outside of a Holiday Inn while celebrating his 26th birthday in Tampa, Florida over the weekend.

The beef between Ace and Foolio has lasted several years. It stems from a rivalry between their respective crews, Ace’s ATK and Foolio’s KTA. There have been several shootings with victims on both sides of the violence. In 2021, Ace collaborated on, “Who I Smoke,” on which he mentions the names of several dead associates of Foolio. Foolio responded with “When I See You,” which samples a news team’s coverage of the killing of Ace’s brother.

Yungeen Ace Disses Foolio

Foolio’s lawyer, Lewis Fusco, confirmed details of his client’s death in a statement he shared on Instagram, on Sunday. He wrote: “Mr. Jones had been in Tampa to celebrate his birthday over the weekend. Law enforcement reports indicate that he initially stayed at an Airbnb but was asked to leave due to exceeding occupancy limits. He subsequently relocated to the Holiday Inn, where he was involved in an incident in the hotel parking lot and reportedly ambushed. While these events involving our client, Mr. Charles Jones, have been disclosed by law enforcement, we are unable to provide further comments at this time until additional details become public record. We kindly request that the privacy of Mr. Jones and his family be respected during this difficult time.”

Before Ace dropped “Do It,” Charleston White also made headlines for having an insensitive reaction to Foolio’s passing. In a video on social media, he joked about the location of his death. He remarked that the rapper “worked hard to die.” Be on the lookout for further updates on Yungeen Ace and Foolio on HotNewHipHop.
