SEE IT: 2025 Dreamville Festival is Back With Announced Dates!!

Screen Shot 2024 11 26 at 1.06.09 PM

Dreamville Festival is back ya’ll. The J. Cole fronted experience will return for its fifth-anniversary celebration on April 5 and 6, 2025, at Raleigh’s Dorothea Dix Park.

Let’s get right to it. Fand can secure presale tickets, including general admission and VIP packages, starting Dec. 11 via the event’s official website.

Before you get too excited, the lineup for the 2025 festival has yet to be announced, audiences can expect appearances from artists on the Dreamville roster, including JID, Bas, and EARTHGANG.

What’s always great to hear, proceeds from the event will benefit the Dreamville Foundation and the Dix Park Conservancy, continuing the festival’s tradition of giving back to the community.

ICYMI, the previous year’s festival in 2024 drew over 100,000 fans from all 50 states and more than 20 countries. The event featured performances from top-tier artists such as Nicki Minaj, SZA, Chris Brown, ScHoolboy Q, Lil Yachty, Jeezy, and others. J. Cole, Dreamville’s founder, headlined the event and made headlines himself by publicly apologizing to Kendrick Lamar during his performance.

So basically, it’s a big deal.

We won’t go too deep into that moment. It was a response to Lamar’s memorable verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s track “Like That.” Cole had entered the fray with his own track, “7 Minute Drill,” but later expressed regret for his role in the public back-and-forth, a sentiment he shared from the stage.

And the rest is history.

Now maybe you don’t know but the Dreamville Festival has grown into more than just a music event; it’s a representation of the community and culture built around J. Cole’s Dreamville brand.

With its unique mix of star power, genuine community engagement, and celebration of Dreamville’s foundational principles, the 2025 festival promises to be a landmark event for fans and newcomers alike.

Clap it up to J. Cole and company for keeping this big time event going. Five years strong is no joke.

Katt Williams Owns a Pet Pig Named After Faizon Love That’s “Just, a real joy to be around.”

Screen Shot 2024 11 15 at 12.55.57 PM

Katt Williams needs to just stop, because there’s only so much laughing we can do these days. The polarizing comedian made quite an entrance at the GQ Men of the Year event on Thursday, November 14, where he not only showcased his usual comedic flair but also took the opportunity to troll fellow comedian Faizon Love.

The wild revelation all went down during an interview on the red carpet, where Williams deadpanned that he owns a pig named after Love, saying, “I have a pot-bellied pig named Fat Faizon who is like, just, a real joy to be around.”

Like, seriously. We need to see this alleged pig in action, ASAP. Are we talking micro pig? Full on hog or is does he even exist? Like does Katt own a farm? We have so many questions.

Get this, Williams’ somewhat playful jab was part of his ongoing back-and-forth with Love, a feud that dates back to a previous appearance on Club Shay Shay with Shannon Sharpe. In that conversation, Williams coined the term “fat Faizon” while taking aim at Love’s career. Williams mocked Love’s claims about Netflix specials, stating, “I only put on comedians that are funnier than me. Anybody tell you different is a fat Faizon liar… Faizon said that getting a Netflix special is easy. I have 12 specials, guess how many Faizon got? Zero. Why is he allowed to have conversations about real stand-up people? We do not let people who are on the juice discuss real athletes, that’s all!” Williams even criticized Love’s acting career, further fueling the rivalry.

ICYMI, the “fat Faizon” moniker, which Williams popularized, became a staple in their ongoing feud, and it was clear he was having fun with it at the GQ event. In fact, Williams made quite the dramatic red carpet entrance, accompanied by a troupe of country dancers, adding another layer of theatricality to his trolling.

Here’s how Faizon Love responded to Williams’ remarks through socials. He suggested that Williams’ behavior is indicative of deeper issues. Love said, “It’s hard to address lunacy, and hypocrisy, and downright ignorance. But it’s so funny how many people think this dumb, stupid motherf*ker is spittin’ truth. But that’s the internet I guess, you guys want to believe in something so bad. Listen to what he’s saying, he’s actually calling for help. He’s calling for help. None of the sht he says lines up with nothing.”

While Love dismissed Williams’ comments as absurd, the ongoing feud between the two comedians shows no signs of letting up anytime soon.

Popping sensation MT Pop became the first Vietnamese dancer to claim the Red Bull Dance Your Style title after delivering a high-energy performance against French dancer Rubix in the 2024 World Final in Mumbai, India on Saturday.

Following 145 events in 48 countries, the world’s top 16 dancers travelled to Mumbai for a chance to compete for the prestigious title. The first step saw the eight pre-final winners and eight wildcards compete in the pre-final at Famous Studios on Wednesday, November 6 and Thursday, November 7. Eight dancers then progressed to Saturday’s World Final which was hosted by South African star Candice Modiselle and iconic Indian dancer Melvin Louis. Held at NSCI Mumbai, more than 5,500 spectators created an incredible atmosphere for the competitors.

The dancers competed to unpredictable hits from funk, pop, rock, hip hop, disco and more and – with no panel of judges, no planned choreography and no pre-chosen music – the competitors needed to flex their skills, musicality and stamina to win the crowd’s votes to progress. In the final, it was popping star MT Pop who clinched victory with a dynamic display in an electrifying showdown against French hip-hop dancer Rubix.

MT Pop said, “There are a lot of emotions right now, I am super happy and excited. We are here for the love, for the culture and for the dance. We don’t speak the same language but here tonight we shared a language and a message with dance. For me it was really an honour dancing with all the competitors, it was a special moment in my life.”

MT Pop now joins an elite group as just the fourth dancer to win the coveted global title. The inaugural World Final took place in Paris, France in 2019 where Dutch dancer Shinshan was crowned the first-ever champion. In 2022, Japan’s The D Soraki dazzled the audience at the World Final in Johannesburg, South Africa, while last year Waackxxxy from South Korea became the first female World Champion.

The next Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final will light up Los Angeles, USA, on October 11, 2025.
