Fat Joe is someone who loves the NBA. Overall, if something happens in the league, you can expect him to have something to say about it. This NBA season has been a lot of fun so far and Joe has had a lot to talk about so far. For instance, Draymond Green is making a lot of noise right now. He was suspended indefinitely by the NBA and now has to undergo counseling. This all happened after he ended up punching Jusuf Nurkic upside the head. It was a pretty shocking incident that had a lot of fans fuming.

Now, it remains to be seen when Draymond will come back. In the end, it will be entirely up to him when he will be able to come back. Although most believe he should be gone for close to 25 games, he may only be gone for about 10 or so. No matter what, this is all very unique for the NBA. They have never asked a player to go through this before, at least pertaining to on-court behaviror. In Fat Joe’s eyes, however, Draymond is simply a different guy. In fact, Joe believes the NBA star could be a Terror Squad member.

“I’m also convinced that Draymond Green is Terror Squad. I want to give him a TS chain bad. Your man Draymond Green is Terror Squad. He’s suspended but he might get some new shines,” Joe said. “I might have to pull up on him and give him some shines. Let me tell you something, the man got a bad temper. Draymond got a bad temper. He don’t know how to do it — oozah. He just get busy.” At this point, Green probably wants to shed his reputation as oppose to feed into. Although who knows at this point?

Draymond Green has entered counseling following his indefinite suspension from the NBA. The Golden State Warriors star forward was suspended after hitting Jusuf Nurkic during a game last week.

According to The Athletic‘s Shams Charania, Green will miss the next three weeks, but there is no direct timetable for his return to basketball.

“People around Green and the organization said the four-time NBA champion has been understanding and prepared to undergo the process required to return to the team in a full capacity,” Shams said. “Those sources would not reveal the specifics of Green’s counseling out of respect for his privacy.”

In a press release, the NBA issued the suspension by taking “into account Green’s repeated history of unsportsmanlike acts.”

Green faces a deduction of $153,941 for each game if his suspension lasts less than 20 games and $202,922 per game if the suspension extends beyond 20 games.

Green spoke to the media and apologized after the game.

“I am not one to apologize for things I mean to do, but I do apologize to Jusuf because I didn’t intend to hit him,” Green said. “I sell calls with my arms … so I was selling the call … and I swung and unfortunately I hit him.

“You guys have known me long enough, if I intended to do something, I am not apologizing. But I did make contact with him, so I do apologize. … It’s a hard hit.”

Draymond Green will reportedly miss at least three more weeks and undergo counseling amid his ongoing indefinite suspension from the NBA, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania. The suspension comes as a result of a “repeated history of unsportsmanlike acts.” Green struck Jusuf Nurkić in the face during the Warriors’ 119-116 loss to the Phoenix Suns on December 12.

“I am not one to apologize for things I mean to do, but I do apologize to Jusuf because I didn’t intend to hit him,” Green said after the game. “I was just selling the call because he was grabbing me and pulling my hip, so I spun away and, unfortunately, I hit him.” Nurkić remarked to reporters that Green needs help. “What’s going on with him? I don’t know,” he said. “Personally, I feel like that brother needs help. It had nothing to do with basketball. I’m just out there trying to play basketball and they’re swinging.”

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr admitted that suspending Green makes sense at this point. “I think the suspension makes sense,” Kerr said. “To me, this is about more than basketball. I think it’s an opportunity for Draymond to step away and to make a change in his approach, in his life. That’s not an easy thing to do.” Prior to the latest ejection, the NBA suspended Green for five games after he placed Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert in a headlock on the court in November.

Shaq has told TMZ that he believes the appropriate suspension for Draymond Green after his ejection against the Suns is just two games. “I don’t think Draymond said, ‘Hey, I’m going to punch this guy just ’cause he’s pulling my jersey,’” Shaq said. Green is currently one game into an indefinite suspension. Per the NBA’s statement on the decision, the suspension “takes into account Green’s repeated history of unsportsmanlike acts.” Furthermore, “He will be required to meet certain league and team conditions before he returns to play,” the league added. However, some believe that the Warriors are no longer in a position to help Green. Draymond Green’s indefinite suspension by the NBA has shaken up the sports discourse but the prevailing sentiment seems to be that he earned it and it was well-deserved. However, there’s one voice in the discussion that is seemingly always going to side with the “bad guy” (unless he has a personal beef that prevents him from doing so) — 50 Cent’s. In a recent Instagram post, he called Draymond his favorite player and defended the play that prompted Dray’s eventual suspension, calling it a “mistake” and offering to “apologize for him.”

As you can probably tell from the video above, Dray’s latest transgression involved some unnecessarily wild movements resulting in flagrant contact with yet another contesting big man, Jusuf Nurkic. The heavy punishment from the league stems from Dray’s repeated offenses and apparent disregard for prior disciplinary actions; his last suspension was for a putting Rudy Gobert in a chokehold literally a month before walloping Nurkic. In a hilariously self-unaware interview, Dray even argued that the NBA “can’t keep suspending” him for past actions… again… just weeks before DOING IT AGAIN.

But if there’s anyone who’d approve of his bully behavior, it’s 50, who previously stopped just short of praising Green for stepping on Domantas Sabonis last season (earlier this year! It hasn’t been a full calendar year! He keeps doing this stuff!). 50’s been one of rap’s biggest heels since day one, so it’s no surprise he loves Draymond’s cartoonish villainy. Maybe he can sponsor Dray’s MMA career and they can both find a way to profit from all this.
