Drake Fans ‘Vandalized’ Kanye West’s Childhood Home With Signs Calling Him A ‘Burn Out’

Kanye West and Drake’s beef flared up last week after the former dissed him during a guest verse on Trippie Redd’s “Betrayal.” The act seemingly led to West posting and deleting Drake’s address to his Toronto mansion, which for the record was already public information. It’s no telling where the back and forth will head next, but the beef has now extended to the rappers’ fans as West’s South Shore Chicago childhood home was visited by Drake fans.

Three signs were left at the GOOD Music rapper’s former house that dissed him, promoted Drake’s upcoming album Certified Lover Boy, and took a shot at Justin LaBoy.

Each of the signs were placed against an individual step at West’s childhood home. Top to bottom they read: “45 44 burnt out,” referencing Drake’s lyrics from “Betrayal,” “F*ck Justin LaBoy,” who’s helped promote West’s upcoming album Donda, and “CLB coming soon.” For what it’s worth, it should be easy to repair this “vandalism” as throwing out the signs will return the home to its normal state.

Last year, West purchased the home for $225,000 and is currently in the process of renovating it. A replica of the house was also at the center of his most recent listening event for Donda. As for Drake, the rapper recently announced that Certified Lover Boy would arrive on September 3. On Friday morning, the rapper “hacked” an episode of SportsCenter on ESPN to share the news. It comes as Donda is rumored to finally drop alongside Certified Lover Boy on September 3.

You can take a look at the “vandalism” in the post above.

Drake Seemingly Announces His ‘Certified Lover Boy’ Release Date By Sneaking It Into ‘SportsCenter’

For months now, fans have wondered just when Drake’s upcoming album, Certified Lover Boy, will be released. While Drake has periodically offered updates on the album’s expected release date, nothing had been set in stone yet… until today. This morning, viewers of ESPN’s flagship program SportsCenter were surprised by the reveal of the album’s release date, which is set for September 3.

The reveal wasn’t a grand affair, but rather, snuck in for a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment. During the show’s introduction, there were brief clips of a sign that read, “CLB September 3.” While there’s nothing here that explicitly says “Certified Lover Boy,” given Drake’s association with and love for the sports world, it seems more than likely that he worked with the worldwide leader in sports on this announcement.

It would make sense that the album would have a release date that’s not too far away, as he said recently that Certified Lover Boy is finished and on the way: “Album’s ready… album’s cooked, looking forward to delivering it to you. Certified Lover Boy on the way and that’s for anyone in the way.” It would seem Kanye West won’t be making an appearance on the album, as he and Drake have revived their feud in recent days.

Rick Ross Chimes In On Kanye West And Drake’s Beef: ‘I Love It’

After things were quiet between the two rappers for several months, the beef betweern Drake and Kanye West’s seemed to flare back up over the weekend. It began with the former apparently dissing Kanye on a guest verse on Trippie Redd’s “Betrayal.” “All these fools I’m beefin’ that I barely know / Forty-five, forty-four (Burned out), let it go,” he raps. citing Kanye’s current age. “Ye ain’t changin’ sh*t for me, it’s set in stone / Rollin’ stones, heavy stones (PinkGrillz) / Precious stone, let me make my presence known.” Just a day later, Kanye posted and quickly deleted the address to Drake’s Toronto mansion, which for the record was already public information.

While we wait for the next event in the duo’s longstanding beef, Rick Ross — who has worked with both rappers on multiple occasions — chimed in with his own comments on the back and forth. When asked about the beef during a recent interview on SiriusXM Urban View’s Mike Muse Show, Ross replied, “I love it.” He then shared a portion of a conversation he recently had with Drake.

“He said, ‘Everything is unfolding. I’m about to be as free as a bird,’” Ross recalled. “And he put the caption with the owl. And I just, I couldn’t do nothing but put ‘hahahaha’ because to me, I understand the genius to both of these artists, and I understand this is nothing personal to them. This is two levels of creativity inspiring each other.”

Ross added, “Because they both are right now thinking of the artwork, thinking of the credits, where do we place, what color is this, and to me, it only makes the game that much more genius, that much more valuable.”

Ross also commented on Kanye’s social media antics. “Kanye posted Drake’s address on the Instagram, but who didn’t have Drake address already?” he said. “It’s the only 100 million dollar estate in Canada. So if you don’t understand what’s going on, you would’ve thought that was personal. It really wasn’t. That’s just them getting ready for as Drake said everything unfolding.”
