DraftKings’ latest NBA commercial debuted yesterday brings basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal to the screen alongside comedian Kevin Hart and former WNBA star Lisa “The Dominant” Leslie. The 30-second national ad showcases DraftKings’ player prop offerings, from first buckets to points.

As Shaq lights up the screen with his co-stars, fans are in for a treat, and a surprise moment awaits at the end of the commercial. The campaign also highlights exciting promotions for the NBA season, including an offer where new customers who bet $5 receive $200 instantly in bonus bets, plus a daily pregame NBA player prop boost for all eligible customers.

DraftKings and Meadowlark Media Launch Women-Led Sports Show 'Good Follow'

DraftKings Inc. (NASDAQ: DKNG) has announced the upcoming launch of Good Follow, a new women-led sports show in collaboration with Meadowlark Media. Set to debut on DraftKings Network in June, the one-hour weekly program will feature captivating interviews and discussions, spotlighting the latest in women’s sports.

Hosted by award-winning content creator Megan Reyes, Good Follow aims to provide an inclusive space for sports fans. It combines news elements with pre-produced segments. Logan Hackett, an emerging voice in women’s sports and former Texas Southern University golfer, will contribute to the show and offer insights into major sporting events.

“Engagement with women’s sports is at an all-time high, and we couldn’t be more excited to expand our  programming to include a women-centric sports show to our content portfolio,” said Stacie McCollum,  Vice President of Content at DraftKings. “At the core, a ‘Good Follow’ is someone who unapologetically  moves culture forward within or adjacent to women’s sports. Good Follow will premiere on June 7 at 8 p.m. ET on DraftKings Network. Following the debut, fans can engage with daily women’s sports content on the show’s social media channels, including coverage of the WNBA Draft.

Designer Don C And Set Free Richardson Debut DraftKings Streetwear At Game 3 Watch Party

Last week, streetwear designer Don C and Set Free Richardson, teamed up to officially debut their collection at See/Know, SLAM’s official store in SOHO NYC. The capsule includes hoodies, tees, and a hat and celebrates basketball culture and the excitement of sports betting. 

The event featured fully dressed mannequins, giveaways, music, a watch party (Game 3 of The Finals) and special guests (including Shameik Moore, voice of Miles Morales in the Spider-Man Spider-Verse series). While the collection was not for sale, a limited number of pieces were available to the public through giveaway opportunities via the storefront and DraftKings social channels.

New Dave East “Bet It” Single Out Now

East Harlem rapper and actor Dave East of Mass Appeal / Def Jam has released the visuals to his new single “Bet It” produced by Danny Wolf of Chaos Club, his first film of the new year since mid-December’s “Dear Summer (East Mix)”. This new four-minute offering created in partnership with DraftKings was expertly directed by the excellent team at Reel Goats and featured both basketball legend The Professor and visionary Gary Vee in the visuals – watch below.

This release foreshadows the rapper’s eagerly anticipated upcoming “How Did I Get Here” second solo studio album out next month on Tuesday 22 March, which will be produced entirely by LA prolific production super-duo Mike & Keys (also known as “The Futuristiks” and whose credits include Nipsey Hussle, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ras Kass, Fat Joe, Curren$y, Freddie GIBBS, JAY ROCK Faith Evans, Dom Kennedy, Lupe Fiasco, T.I, Royce Da 5’9”, D12, Redman, Sheek Louch, 50 Cent).
