Tyrese spoke out in support of Diddy on Instagram, on Tuesday, a day after federal agents raided the Bad Boy mogul’s properties in Los Angeles and Miami. While he says he doesn’t condone the things of which Diddy is accused, he still stands by him.
“What I can’t do and what I won’t do is downplay the laughter, the fun, the energy, the inspiration, the award shows the studio sessions the most legendary parties and events I’ve ever attended in my life, and I also can’t act as if my high school backyard parties throughout south central LA wasn’t the craziest parties ever because of the Bad Boy on slew of hit records,” Tyrese began. “I don’t condone nor do I support abuse, bullying sexual assault or anything that is currently being alleged but what I can’t do is turn the blinds on how much this mean to me and all of us, and what he has done for the community of music and culture.”

He continued: “I’m the only one crazy enough to jump out there and say what most of you want to say but you don’t have the balls to do so because it’s very normal for people to be going through a rough patch and we all sit back and make a mockery of it but I’m not gonna do that i’m praying for Diddy his kids, his family, his mother, and all of the alleged victims that’s in the middle of trying to simply have their voices to be heard. The teaser comes after police and Homeland Security officers raided the Bad Boy mogul’s properties in Los Angeles and Miami earlier in the day. “This is gonna break records when this drops. GLG GreenLightGang you know the vibes,” 50 captioned the image, which features three photos of Diddy.
Fans joked about 50’s level of disdain for Diddy in the comments section. “50 is the most committed hater I know, you have to respect that,” one fan remarked. Another joked that Katt Williams should narrate the project. “R. Kelly moving his things to the top bunk,” one said.

Diddy’s attorney Aaron Dyer released a statement addressing the raids the following day. “Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated,” he said. He added: “This unprecedented ambush – paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence – leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits. There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”

However, there is a lot of confusion about what is really going on. Some on social media made the claim that the music mogul had been restricted from flying. He popped up on a recent Instagram live video shared by his girlfriend where the pair are too busy enjoying each other to really notice much else. Cameras spotted Diddy’s sons, Justin and King Combs, returning to the residence to retrieve their belongings following the home raid on Diddy’s Los Angeles mansion. TMZ reported that they left the property separately late Monday night, with Justin arriving around 10:30 p.m. and his brother a few hours later.
