Columbus Short Accuses Diddy Of Trying To Groom Him

Columbus Short says that Diddy attempted to groom him back in the 2000s while working on the 2008 film, A Raisin in the Sun. Appearing on Boss Talk 101, the actor recalled connecting Diddy with his acting coach and explained how their relationship grew from there. Short explained that he would party with the Bad Boy mogul, but clarified that he “wasn’t at those parties. I was at the big parties.”

“Now, looking back, it’s like the groomage,” Short admitted. As for the litany of allegations plaguing Diddy in recent months, Short said: “As I got further deeper into the game, people talk. So I would hear stories but I never saw nothing… I didn’t know they’re ‘after-after parties.’”

Short previously claimed that Diddy once called him up at 2:00 AM to invite him to his hotel room after the BET Awards. He detailed the incident on Instagram back in December. “He tried it on me. So I know it’s true. I was married. My ex-wife. I got a phone call in the middle of the night, about 2:30 in the morning. I picked up the phone. It was Diddy. He said, ‘Hey man, we didn’t see you at the BET Awards. What are you doing?’ I said, ‘I’m in bed with my wife.’” He then claimed Diddy told him he was alone at a hotel in Beverly Hills.

The latest lawsuit against Diddy comes from Rodney Jones, who accused him of sexual assault. In a statement for TMZ, Diddy’s attorney, Shawn Holley, explained: “Lil Rod is nothing more than a liar who filed a $30 million lawsuit shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday. His reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not happen is nothing more than a transparent attempt to garner headlines. We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies. Our attempts to share this proof with Mr. Jones’ attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, have been ignored, as Mr. Blackburn refuses to return our calls. However, instead of being a story about Short spotting a red flag in Kelly, Short went on a bizarre tangent. “If I had known there were 13 b-tches locked in that house. If I had known, I would be grabbing the keys and freeing all them. I would be like a superhero, saving all those b-tches,” Short said.

However, fans were exactly receptive to this tangent. “Y’all. The word is WOMEN. Take that word into 2024,” said one person. “Why refer to the victims with derogatory names?! 🤡,” added another. “We betta than that @officialcshort I believe the terms are “young women/ladies/girls” like all the women in your family . That was a conscious choice cuz Lord knows if you were recounting this story to your mama,” a third lectured.

Columbus Short Calls Out Diddy

However, R. Kelly is not the only person who has been the subject of Short’s ire lately. Short also recently called out Diddy. According to the actor and choreographer, Diddy called him at “2, 2:30 in the morning” to express sadness at Short not being at the BET Awards. However, Diddy continued to take things further, telling Short that he was staying at a nearby Hilton Hotel. However, when Short who else was over there, Diddy informed him he was alone.

Rumors that Diddy is closeted have long persisted throughout the music industry. “Diddy admitted to exposing Usher to older women, a hyper-sexual lifestyle, and trying to get him to lose his virginity when Usher was around 14/15,” one person wrote on social media back in July. “Lest I digress, I believe Usher’s relations with women and his life might have been different had it not been for Mr. Love,” another added in the same conversation.

Columbus Short Implies tWitch May Have Ended His Life After Savings Loss

Shortly after news broke that Stephen “tWitch” Boss had died at age 40 after completing suicide, actor Columbus Short has offered a theory on why the famed dancer and DJ might’ve taken his own life.

In a video uploaded to social media, the Stomp The Yard star revealed that tWitch may have killed himself after losing his life savings in a bad investment.

“You guys don’t know what people are going through. People made investments. People do a lot of things, this is just a theory,” Short shares in the clip.

Saying that tWitch’s legacy “shall live on,” he continued, “But, what if you invest in something that took your whole life savings possibly? Yeah, it gets rough.”

Short then added that he doesn’t “want to speak too much on that.”

Per TMZ, unnamed sources recently revealed that the So You Think You Can Dance star wasn’t struggling with finances prior to his death.

After being discovered in a motel room, tWitch’s cause of death was later listed as a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, as declared by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. He was known for his incredibly diverse dance skills and time spent as a DJ and executive producer on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

He and his family then received an outpour of support and tributes from his friends in the industry. Ciara, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Justin Timberlake, and more spoke out about tWitch and the impact he had following the news.

In an Instagram post, DeGeneres also honored the late entertainer, writing, “I’m heartbroken. tWitch was pure love and light. He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him.”

tWitch leaves behind his wife, fellow dancer Allison Holker, and their three shared children.
