Nick Cannon, in case you haven’t heard, has a lot of kids: 11, to be exact. He had those kids with six different women, so if he planned to get together with all of them for the holidays, Cannon was going to have to spend some serious time on the road to make it work. Well, there’s no word yet on how that panned out, but before Christmas, Cannon declared he planned to make it happen.
On December 23, Cannon (along with model Brittany Bell and two of their three children) visited Los Angeles Mission to serve holiday meals. There, a TMZ cameraperson caught up with Cannon and asked how he plans to divide his time among his kids this holiday season. He answered, “Me and Santa Claus do it together.” He later added, “I have the same vibe as Santa Claus: I’m traveling all night.”
This comes shortly after Akon showed his support for Cannon’s prolific fatherhood, saying, “I agree with him 1,000 percent. That’s how life is supposed to be. Why not? He’s rich. He’s responsible. He takes care of every one of those children. And the baby mothers are with it. And they hurt for nothing. And they live comfortably. […] He’s there for every one of them. He’s there for every single one of those kids. I got nine and I’m there for every one of mine.”
Playboi Carti seemed to tease the imminent release of new music on Twitter, Sunday. He wrote to his more than two million followers that “it’s time.”
“love all my supporters,” Carti wrote on Christmas. “it’s time.”
“Hello Twitter,” he added in another tweet.
Fans of Carti’s music were ecstatic in response to the posts. Each tweet has racked up over 12 million views and 280,000 likes as well as thousands of retweets.
“I don’t know how much more my heart can take Mr. Carter,” one user responded.
Another wrote: “i dont care if jesus came down from the sky and told me this was true i still wouldnt believe you n***a.”
“Oh my god if Playboi Carti drops on Christmas tonight I’ll record a video of me rapping along to the entirely of whole lotta red but mute the music for you guys so it’s just me acapella,” another fan tweeted.
In addition to his tweets, Carti also reactivated his Instagram account on Christmas Eve. Using the account, he shared a screenshot of a play button over an equalizer image. He also changed the profile pictures on his social media pages.
Despite the numerous posts, as of Sunday night, Carti has yet to release any new music.
Carti’s posts come two years after he dropped his last studio album, Whole Lotta Red, on December 25, 2020. The project debuted atop the US Billboard 200 while earning 100,000 album-equivalent units. It features Kanye West, Kid Cudi, and Future.

Nick Cannon says that he’s traveling “all over” to visit all 11 of his children for the holidays. Cannon addressed the difficulty he has spending time with all of his kids while speaking with TMZ. The outlet caught up to him while he was serving holiday meals as a volunteer at the Los Angeles Mission on Friday.
“Me and Santa Claus do it together,” he told a reporter. “I have the same vibe as Santa Claus, I’m traveling all over.”
At the L.A. Mission, Brittany Bell and two of her three children with Cannon were in attendance.
“Being a father of multiple kids, it’s always the biggest guilt on me is that I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children,” he said during a podcast interview. “One ’cause I’m constantly working and two because I’m just spread thin.”
With 11 kids already to take care of, Cannon has another on the way with Alyssa Scott. He recently discussed his children in an interview with Billboard News.
“My kids are definitely the creative force in all that I do,” the proud dad said. “They’re the funniest, most innovative, best questions…every project I’m working on now is through their eyes. That’s my number one priority obviously. I wake up being a father thinking about my kids and everything else comes after that.
“I don’t know, man, I have no idea,” he admitted when asked if he’ll have more kids, before adding, “I think I’m good right now.”
Christmas meals are undeniably one of the most exciting parts of the holiday season.
Even from jail, it looks like some locked-up celebrities get to enjoy a Christmas meal. It appears as though artists like Fetty Wap and R. Kelly, who are currently serving time, will be enjoying a rather nice meal on Sunday (December 25).
According to reports from TMZ, the holiday jail menus are sounding pretty filling. The “My Way” rapper is serving his time at MDC Brooklyn, where he’s awaiting his sentencing for drug trafficking charges. His meal reportedly includes herbed Cornish hen, eggplant parmesan, dirty rice, baked beans, green beans, dinner rolls, fruit, pies and juice.
R. Kelly, on the other hand, is serving his 30-year sentence at MCC Chicago. The disgraced singer is guilty of various sex trafficking and racketeering charges. The world was witness to his sentencing earlier this year. His meal will consist of baked Cornish hen, green beans, cornbread dressing, mac and cheese and sweet potato casserole.
Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted on five of the six counts against her for her role in aiding Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse of underage girls. She’s currently serving her time at FCI Tallahassee. She’ll be eating Cornish hens, stuffed green peppers, garlic mac and cheese, brussel sprouts, sweet potatoes, rolls, cranberry sauce, red velvet cheesecake and fruit.
Although turkey is the most popular entrée for the most wonderful time of the year, it appears as if there isn’t any available behind bars.
Additionally, other celebrities currently serving time who will get a Christmas meal include Tiger King star Joe Exotic, disgraced reality TV star Josh Duggar and disgraced cheerleader, Jerry Harris.
The report also says that some buildings will be handing out gift bags to prisoners. They will reportedly include snacks, puzzles and games.
In other news surrounding the “Trap Queen” rapper, some new photos have recently surfaced of him in prison. In October of 2021, the New Jersey native was arrested and subsequently charged stemming from a conspiracy to possess and distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine.
The photos were shared to his official Instagram account on Saturday (December 24). “Head up like a nose bleed Mr. New Jersey,” reads the caption.
His sentencing will take place soon, on January 18, 2023. He faces a minimum of five years, with the maximum time he could serve set at 40 years.

Aside from his role in The Roots, Questlove is also one of the world’s most passionate and knowledgeable music historians. He knows pretty much everything there is to know about the industry and he shared some of that knowledge in his latest book, 2021’s Music Is History. Now, with the holiday season in full swing, Questlove has just enhanced your upcoming gatherings by sharing his Christmas music playlist.
He ran through his favorite holiday tunes on NPR’s Fresh Air, and included in the mix is Paul McCartney’s “Wonderful Christmastime.” Quest said of the song, “You know, Paul doesn’t like [that song] too much. Every time I talk to him and tell him, ‘Not only is it my favorite Christmas song, but it might be my favorite Paul McCartney Post-Beatles song.’ And he’s just, like, cringing his face, like, ‘No, no, but that was a rush job.’”
His mix also includes cuts by Run-DMC, DRAM, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, and others.
Quest also came through with a particularly fascinating bit of Stevie Wonder history, saying:
“Stevie Wonder is world-famous for his unique jingles for radio stations — if you search the Internet high and low, you can find some that he’s done over the years and over the decades. There’s actually a Philadelphia version of this particular jingle that I grew up with, and that’s the thing that’s always close to my heart. So there was a point in time in which Stevie Wonder might take time out to craft maybe somewhere between 30 to 50 individualized, customized radio station jingles for the territories that were playing his music the most. And so that’s why I chose this one. This is sort of a companion piece to the Marvin Gaye ‘Christmas In The City’ bit. This is Stevie Wonder playing synthesizer.”
If your several plays of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” have worn out your stereo, a Houston homeowner has come up with a creative way to crunk up the holidays. A man by the name of Frank To-ong, better known as H-Town Frankie is returning with his perfectly synced Christmas lights for the ninth year in a row.
While it’s not unusual for homeowners to sync their Christmas lights to traditional holiday carols, Frankie likes to sync his lights to blink and display to some big bangers.
In one TikTok clip, some of Frankie’s lights are seen blinking to Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz’s “Get Low,” with the lyrics on display on the closed garage door.
It appears that Frankie likes to get in the Christmas spirit beginning in November. In one clip, the lights are seen dancing to the viral trap remix of Shirley Caesar’s “Beans, Greens, Tomatoes,” song which recirculates every Thanksgiving season.
In an interview with Secret Houston, Frankie expressed pride in his hometown, as well as the lights’ global impact.
“When people know that the creator of this content is from Houston, that makes me proud,” said Frankie. “That is the coolest thing ever. This is my town. This is my city.”

When it comes to Halloween, Janelle Monáe is one of the best to ever put on a costume. Her high-effort looks wow every year, like when she came through with a Fifth Element-inspired get-up this past October. Monáe sat down for an interview on Late Night yesterday (December 14) and Seth Meyers went through some of her best costumes, including her pitch-perfect The Grinch from 2021. Here’s that in case you need a refresher:
Meyers brought that up and Monáe referred to it as “Johnny Grinch,” then revealing that she had an idea for a Grinch reboot movie. After Meyers’ prompting, she explained, “If you go on my page, you’ll see the Johnny Grinch is, like, this sort of hipster. Like, you know, vegan and green eggs and ham… or wait, not really a good vegan. Anyway, forget that, forget that, forget that, I’m off course. But the pitch is: What if the Grinch had an illegitimate child? Like, he didn’t know that he had Johnny and she somehow brings him back.”
The host, ever the writer, had some valid concerns about plot logistics, like when he noted, “I also want to hear this story about how he’s like, ‘I had no idea.’ I’m like, ‘Alright, Grinch. You lived alone in a cave and you’re like, ‘I don’t know how I’m a dad.’ You know.”
Floyd Mayweather is one of the wealthiest men in the entire sports world. He is someone who has always flaunted that wealth, however, he certainly gives back when he has the chance. Not everyone is as generous with their money, especially when there is no obligation to be. Regardless, Mayweather tries to help when he can.
Additionally, Mayweather enjoys treating himself when the opportunity presents itself. From high-priced artwork at Art Basel to some gorgeous sports cars, Mayweather certainly knows what he likes. Overall, his spending habits certainly have the ability to make you a tad jealous.
Early Christmas With Floyd Mayweather
According to TMZ, Mayweather was in more of a giving spirit on Monday night. The boxing legend was in Los Angeles as he watched the Clippers take on the Boston Celtics at Crypto.com arena. While there, he linked up with five kids, who he decided to provide with an early Christmas gift.
In the video down below, you can see Mayweather talking to five kids who refer to him as “Uncle Floyd.” Overall, it is a pretty cute scene, and it ends with Mayweather giving each kid $1,000. Needless to say, that will be a nice bit of money to start Christmas shopping with.
Mayweather has done things like this in the past, so his most recent bit of generosity should not be that big of a surprise. Regardless, these kids most certainly appreciated the kindness. Christmas is in 11 days, and these young men will now be able to get themselves and their loved ones some well-deserved presents.
As for Mayweather himself, he got to see the Clippers blowout the Celtics. The Celtics are one of the best teams in the league, so it ended up being quite the show for the Crypto.com arena crowd.
We already knew that she’s 100% that bitch. Now, Lizzo is letting us know that she’s also “100% THAT GRINCH.” In her latest twerking thirst trap, the Special hitmaker donned an all-green look as she channelled the moody (but beloved) holiday character.
In her usual fashion, she made her costume slightly NSFW by stepping into a bondage-style jumpsuit. The look was complete with fur and chains running down the bodice. Additionally, she rocked a green smokey eye and a lengthy wig in the same colour.
At first, we see Lizzo running her manicured hands down her full figure as she shakes her hips in unison with Shelby Swain’s “MRS. GRINCH.”
“I’m a bad bitch, Mrs. Grinch / I’m a real one, I don’t f*ck with me,” the track’s lyrics go. “All wrapped in designer, from n*ggas I don’t got time for / Mrs. Grinch, Mrs. Grinch.”
After showing us what it looks like from the front, Lizzo let her followers see her bodacious behind from the back. As expected, she twerked away, leaving fans (such as SZA) to thirst over her in the comment section.
While one doesn’t necessarily need an excuse to dress up like their favourite holiday character, the “About Damn Time” songstress has a good one. That same night, she was performing at iHeart Radio’s annual Jingle Ball.
Lizzo’s Christmas look is undeniably epic, but it’s got nothing on the costumes she put together for Halloween in October.
Firstly she made headlines by stepping out as Chrisean Rock. Later, she and Cardi B had the same idea in donning hilariously unforgettable Marge Simpson outfits.
Unfortunately, the latter’s has gotten her into some legal trouble. Read more about that here, and check back with HNHH later for more pop culture news updates.
