The couple stopped by Nobu Malibu ahead of the party, turning heads with their dramatic looks. Fox stunned in a strapless Mirror Palais gown complete with plenty of flirty cutouts. She paired it with some platform heels, a long white jacket, and a sparkling clutch. The actress complimented her bold look with a simple updo, smoldering eye makeup, and a few silver accessories. MGK sported all black, holding her hand in a pair of leather pants and a plunging sweater. He similarly accessorized with a pearl necklace by Vivienne Westwood and some striking silver earrings.

The duo’s fun sushi date fits are far from the first to capture fans’ attention lately, however. Last month, they also made headlines for their GQ Man of the Year party looks. Fox wore a daring asymmetrical Mugler dress, rocking her bright red hair in a chic bob. MGK flexed his affinity for leather once again, arriving in a long leather coat and matching pants.

T.D. Jakes Dismisses Diddy Rumors During Christmas Eve Sermon

American pastor T.D. Jakes has vehemently dismissed rumors that he has any connection to Diddy. “I will not use this sacred day and this sacred pulpit to address a lie when I have the chance to preach the truth,” Jakes said at the start of his Christmas Eve sermon.

This comes after Jakes’ team vehemently denied the reports. Recent claims circulating on pockets of social media about Bishop T.D. Jakes are unequivocally false and baseless. What has always been true, in the words of the late Pastor Charles H. Spurgeon, ‘If you want the truth to go round the world you must hire an express train to pull it; but if you want a lie to go round the world it will fly; it is as light as a feather, and a breath will carry it,’” the executive of public relations for Jakes’ church network said earlier in the week.

Has Diddy Been Cursed?

Meanwhile, resurfaced photos of Diddy‘s full-back tattoo of the Haitian spirit Ezili Dantor have led to wild speculation online. Many have theorized that Diddy’s recent legal troubles are a result of angering the Vodou spirit, which represents the divinity of love but has also been likened to an “angry mother” by some anthropologists. Due to Diddy’s alleged victims being women and children, some believe that Ezili Dantor is working against the Bad Boy Records founder as a form of retribution.

There are now four lawsuits out against Diddy, with one settled. The accusations against Diddy have been growing increasingly disturbing. Both the third and fourth lawsuits alleged rape against the Bad Boy Records founder. The third suit, filed late on Thanksgiving, stems back to the late 90s. In the suit, the anonymous woman claims she went on a date with him in 1991 while attending Syracuse. However, she alleges that Diddy drugged her during dinner, before filming them while he raped her. Furthermore, she claims that she was later made aware that the video of the assault had been shown to and viewed by multiple people.

Brandon “Boogie B” Montrell Killed In New Orleans Shooting

Tragedy shocked the comedy world and New Orleans this Christmas Eve. A shooting took place outside a grocery store in the city’s Central Business District, and a stray bullet struck and killed comedian Brandon “Boogie B” Montrell. Authorities believe Montrell was not the intended target. According to reports, he was sitting in his car in a parking lot of Rouses Market on Baronne Street. Moreover, the shooting interrupted Christmas shopping and rush hour traffic.

Afterwards, Montrell’s family released a statement via their attorney to NOLA.com. His mother, Sherilyn Price said, “My son was not just the victim of a stray bullet. He’s the victim of decades of neglect that have left New Orleans’ youth with no hope for a future and with no real fear of consequences.”

Furthermore, police released two surveillance camera photographs of two suspects, along with a getaway car and a woman they’d like to speak to. However, authorities haven’t reported any arrests or further developments in this case. Despite the case’s unclear and shocking nature, the news spread and many shared their condolences to his Instagram page.

“You will be thoroughly missed my beloved brother,” wrote comedian, producer, and Emmy winner Ron C. “Thank you for the great memories. was looking forward to us going on road and watching our dreams come true. Thank you for always supporting me and my family. Love u bro!”

“He was definitely my children’s Santa,” added Mia X, legendary First Lady of No Limit Records.

Boogie B’s career and work brought joy and laughter to so many in his community and beyond. Moreover, he worked to make a name for himself from a young age, when he got his nickname due to his dancing and rapping ability. Furthermore, some of his influences include Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, Martin Lawrence, and Rudy Ray Moore.

Later in his career, Montrell would move to the West Coast after finding success in Washington D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, and New York. Also, he starred in Into the Dark, Boosters, and his hit viral show New Orleans Hood History.

Drake Posted An Adorable Video Horsing Around With His Son Adonis On Christmas Eve

Drake’s relationship with his son, Adonis, has been well-documented at this point. As a single father, Drake shares custody of the toddler with Sophie Brussaux, although the couple aren’t together. Still, it isn’t every day we get to see Drizzy in full-on father mode, so a clip he shared of himself and Adonis horsing around on the floor on Christmas Eve is a sweet look into their dynamic. “I’m going to get up, I gotta get out of this,” Drake laughs, as Adonis and another child pin him to the floor, then climb up on his back as he tries to stand up.

“Merry Christmas From The Gang,” Drake captioned the post. Whatever else might be going on in Drake’s life, it seems like his 4-year-old son is having the time of his life giggling and playing with his dad during the holidays. Like plenty of other musicians, Drake has mostly been lying low during Covid-19 since touring is such a risky thing at the moment. He did emerge briefly to release his sixth full-length album, Certified Lover Boy this summer, and then again for a massive face off concert with Kanye earlier this month, but perhaps he’s been enjoying the chance to spend more time with his child like plenty of other parents are during the pandemic.
