Jordan Two Trey Gets Some “Bulls” Vibes

Over the last few months, the Jordan Two Trey has quickly become one of the best hybrid Jordans on the market. For the most part, hybrid Jordans have been polarizing. Overall, fans typically don’t like seeing numerous silhouettes combined. However, the Jordan Two Trey does it right.

Upon looking at the shoe, you can see elements of the Air Jordan 7, Jordan 8, Jordan 11, and even the Jordan 12. All-in-all, it is just a cool-looking shoe that has a chunky dad shoe aesthetic to it. Not to mention, they would certainly make you stand out on the court.

Bulls Jordan Two Trey

The latest Jordan Two Trey to be revealed by Jumpman has a very obvious reference to the Chicago Bulls. This is where Michael Jordan won six NBA titles, so it only makes sense that these colorways would continue to be produced. After all, the fans want them.

Firstly, this shoe is mostly all-white. The upper here is covered in white overlays with leather and mesh hits. Secondly, there are some red highlights throughout, however, they are fairly sparse. Finally, the outsole here is black which adds some nice contrast.

Cavs Guard Donovan Mitchell Drug Tested After Dropping 71 Points in Game

Donovan Mitchell Erupts for 71 Points in Cavs' OT Win Over Bulls

Drop 71 points and get rewarded with a drug test. The day after Donovan Mitchell dropped a new career high of 71 points and the most scored in the NBA in the last 17 years, he was drug tested.

According to ESPN, the Cleveland Cavaliers were issued tests for performance-enhancing drugs. Mitchell joked about it online.

According to the collective bargaining agreement between the NBA and the National Basketball Players Association, players are normally subjected to four random PED testing during the season and two during the offseason.

Mitchell’s efforts helped the Cavs overcome a 21-point deficit and beat the Chicago Bulls 145-134 overtime. Mitchell is now in an elite list of NBA players who have scored 70 points in a single game, joining Wilt Chamberlain, Kobe Bryant, David Thompson, Elgin Baylor, David Robinson, and Devin Booker.

Mitchell’s total included 13 overtime points, and he helped the Cavs reach the extra session by intentionally missing a free throw, rebounding his shot, and scoring a putback bucket.

ESPN notes Mitchell added a career-high tying 11 assists and eight rebounds, while setting career highs in 20 free throws made.

“I think I had a game like that once playing NBA2K, but I don’t think I shot that efficiently,” Mitchell said in postgame. “But that was a loss, so this feels that much better.”

You can see highlights of his performance below.

Zach LaVine Reportedly Wants To Go To The Lakers

Zach LaVine and the Chicago Bulls don’t seem to be the fit they once were. There was a point where LaVine was on the verge of superstardom. However, he has been having it out with his teammates and his coaches. This past week, he had a pretty large argument with one teammate after they told him to play better defense.

With that being said, it is looking likely that both sides just move on from one another. If it were to come down to a trade, the Bulls could get a lot for LaVine. Additionally, there are plenty of teams out there who would love to have LaVine’s brand of talent.

Zach LaVine To The Lakers?

Lavine is a Klutch Sports athlete, which means it should be no surprise that some think he could go to the Lakers. According to Sean Deveney of Heavy.com, the Lakers are looking like the likeliest outcome for LaVine. This is mostly because LaVine himself wants to play there.

“LaVine wants to go to the Lakers, that has been pretty clear for a while now,” Deveney wrote. “The agents (from Klutch Sports) want him to be in Los Angeles, he is a UCLA guy and they did some rattling about his contract last offseason, to kind of lay the groundwork if things blew up. Which they seem to be doing.”

Getting LaVine would probably mean giving up Anthony Davis. For the Lakers, that could very well be a nonstarter. However, talks between the two teams have yet to actually take place.

This is a developing story so stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from around the league. Additionally, let us know where you think LaVine should go, in the comments below.

Boosie Badazz x DeMar DeRozan

That is exactly what took place on Wednesday night as Boosie was sitting courtside at a Hawks game. The Chicago Bulls were in town, and in the end, the Bulls came away with the victory. Overall, it wasn’t the result Boosie probably wanted, however, he did get a huge gift out of it.

SOURCE SPORTS: Chicago Bulls and Lonzo Ball Optomisitc for Midseason Return After Latest Knee Surgery

0x0

Chicago Bulls point guard Lonzo Ball has had a successful surgery and is believed to be set to return to the Chicago Bulls at some point in the season.

According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the Bulls have confidence in Ball returning after his left knee surgery on Wednesday, which is believed to have addressed the issue. Currently, Ball is believed to miss a few months.

In a conversation with the media on Tuesday, Lonzo Ball revealed that he couldn’t run or jump without pain in his left knee. Ball will now have arthroscopic knee surgery on Wednesday (Sept. 27).

“There was a point where we would warm up and stuff, and I would go through certain days and it would be fine,” Ball said, according to ESPN. “Then whenever I got to real basketball activities, I just couldn’t do it. Unfortunately, this is what’s at hand and has to be dealt with. We feel like surgery, again, is the best option.”

Once Ball’s surgery concludes, he will travel to Chicago to rehab with the team. Ball is currently scheduled to be reevaluated four to six weeks after his surgery. Ball is optimistic about playing in the forthcoming season.

“I’ve never felt pain like this or was able to ramp up a little bit but never fully, so definitely a unique situation. The doctors and the Bulls, we’re all trying to figure out what it is. Like I said, we all came to the conclusion that it’s time for surgery.”

Lonzo Ball & The Bulls Get Some Positive News

Lonzo Ball has been dealing with a significant knee injury over the past few months. After getting surgery at the beginning of the year, Ball wasn’t able to recover as quickly as he was supposed to. This was a huge concern for the Bulls and it has continued to be one as Lonzo has yet to recover in time for the NBA season.

In fact, Lonzo recently underwent a second knee surgery, and now, he will have to miss even more time. Recently, Lonzo admitted that he is still feeling a lot of pain in his knee and that he can’t even run or jump. This is very upsetting for Bulls fans, and it has even been heartbreaking for his teammates who care deeply about his health.

Now, however, the Bulls are getting some good news pertaining to Ball. As you can see in the tweet down below from Shams Charania, there is a sense that Lonzo will be able to come back this season. While there is no exact timeline for his return to the court, there is a lot of confidence in his ability to play prior to the postseason.

When Lonzo was on the court last season, the Bulls were among the best teams in the entire Eastern Conference. With that being said, the team could use him right now, especially with the East’s continuing momentum.

SOURCE SPORTS: Zach Lavine Says He Didn’t Meet With Anyone But the Chicago Bulls During Free Agency

Zach Lavine Says He Didn't Meet With Anyone But the Chicago Bulls During Free Agency

For Zach Lavine, it was the Chicago Bulls and them only. Speaking on a Zoom call after officially signing a five-year, $215 million extension with the Bulls, Lavine revealed he never took a meeting with any other franchise.

“I went into the offseason with an open mind,” LaVine said, according to The Athletic. “I laid out my goals just like I always have. And once I was able to meet with (Bulls management) and they came to me with everything that I wanted, there was no other reason for me to go outside and look at any other teams.

“I think that would have been disrespectful on my end because they gave me everything I asked for, and everything on the table that I looked at had Chicago as all the pros. I did my due diligence on my own time, as well, and looked at things and made a decision for me and my family. But my heart was in Chicago.”

During his stint with the Bulls, Lavine averaged 24.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in over 270 games. Last year was a significant step forward for Lavine as the Bulls’ brass built a core around him consisting of DeMar DeRozan, Nikola Vucevic, Lonzo Ball, and more, that placed the team at the top of the conference for much of the season before injuries made an impact. Those injuries included Lavine’s nagging knee, which he received a procedure that he called “run of the mill” during this summer.

On May 24, Lavine had arthroscopic surgery on his knee and stated he feels way better. He also added that his goal is to win a championship for the team.
