Snoop Dogg & Master P Sue Walmart For Allegedly Sabotaging Their Cereal Brand

In one of the strangest stories of 2024 so far, Snoop Dogg is taking on Walmart and Post Foods in court. At the center of the debate is a cereal that Snoop and Master P created that is fittingly called Snoop Cereal. In a statement made by their attorney they told the story of marketing the brand. “To expand their reach, Snoop Dogg and Master P approached major brands to engage in a partnership and promotion agreement to distribute Snoop Cereal with national retailers. However, despite one company agreeing to the agreement, it allegedly sabotaged the success of Snoop Cereal by preventing it from reaching consumers through deceptive practices.”

The company in question is Post Foods, which distributed the cereal to Walmart. “Post Foods allegedly used deceptive practices to sabotage the success of Snoop Cereal, such as intentionally holding boxes of Snoop Cereal in the stockrooms of Walmart stores, marked with ‘no location’ coding, preventing them from being placed on store shelves,” a tweet made by their attorney reads. The cereal, which was originally called Snoop Loopz, was first crafted back in 2022.

Snoop Dogg And Master P Suing Over Cereal Hiding

The Grammys took place over the weekend and Snoop Dogg was paying attention. Artists like Lana Del Rey and Nicki Minaj once again failed to win their first Grammys. That sparked quite a bit of controversy online and Snoop Dogg chimed in. He took to Instagram to share a post about his own Grammys history. The rap legend has scored 16 nominations in his stories career without a single win.

Snoop has also continued to release new music even decades into his career. Just last month he teamed up with Griselda rapper Benny The Butcher for a collaboration called “Back Again.” The song landed on Benny’s highly-anticipated new album Everybody Can’t Go alongside a variety of other impressive features. Cardi B Defends Offset Amid FYB J Mane Drama

Cardi B has come to the defense of her former partner, Offset, following accusations from FYB J Mane that the Migos rapper refused to sign a box of his cereal brand. After detailing his alleged attempt to get Offset to do so, Mane also leaked direct messages between the two on social media afterward.

In the message, Offset wrote to Mane: “Aye bra what’s up with you I was on some cool Sh*t and you come playing with my name. U capped like I kicked you out I was on some cool sh*t but u on some sucka sh*t like n****s can’t reach you.”

Responding to the screenshot of the DMs, Cardi wrote: “This dm is maaa old and the only reason you got a dm is cause you lied and said offset kicked you out the studio when we was both being super nice to you of the strength of our boy PO. We was literally giving you advice on how to make your cereal brand bigger then you came to the internet lying. Cardi’s defense of Offset comes following her reveal that the two slept together after New Year’s Eve. “Let me make this a little bit clearer to you guys because as y’all making your assumptions. I just wanted to hear it from the horse’s mouth,” she said on social media afterward. “Was I clubbing with my baby father yesterday? Yes. Did I get d*cked down yesterday? Absolutely baby. Y’all can use your roles on New Year’s Eve; I need some d*ck on New Year’s Eve. Snoop Dogg And Master P Surprise Deion Sanders With Custom Cereal Box

There’s been a lot of news surrounding Deion Sanders this year. The former football great turned to coaching and this year was hired to take over the Colorado Buffaloes. While results on the field have been mixed he’s had his moments and more importantly, has brought his signature over-the-top swagger to everything he does.

He’s also been a part of quite a few advertisements and promotional deals. Consequently, the most recent is now his involvement with Master P and Snoop Dogg’s cereal. Snoop created a special version of his Snoop Cereal celebrating the rapper called the “Prime Time Honey-O Snax.” P pulled up to Coach Prime personally to hand deliver the cereal. “Me and Snoop decided we putting you on the Snoop Cereal box. Master P Gifts Coach Prime His Own Snoop Dogg Cereal

Additionally, this isn’t the only way that Snoop Dogg and Master P have been linked recently. Master P claimed that he once visited Suge Knight while he was in jail and offered him $2 million in exchange for Snoop signing to No Limit Records. But Suge Knight is refuting the claim in an episode of his new podcast. ” I never would have took no sh*t like that for Snoop. I got a whole list if anybody ever visits me. You got to be approved. That n*gga is not on none of it,” he used as his evidence for the claim being false.

Snoop Dogg has also continued dispensing advice to the newer generations of rappers. He had some wise words to share with Latto during a recent heart to heart telling her she had to “be a smarter businesswoman” during a conversation between the pair.
