T-Boz Addresses Rumors About Recent Hospitalization After TLC Cancelations

Last weekend, TLC announced that they had to cancel a slew of upcoming shows due to T-Boz’s recent hospitalization. They shared the disappointing news in a statement on their Instagram Story, revealing that T-Boz had been diagnosed with a severe abdominal blockage. According to her, however, she would have preferred if the statement had been less detailed. In a clip shared on Instagram today, she addresses the various rumors that have been circulating since the announcement, making it clear that her condition has nothing to do with Ozempic or Sickle Cell.

“People have died from what I went through,” she said. “It had nothing to do with Sickle Cell… It had nothing to with constipation. No, I’m not on Ozempic. Everybody and every celeb ain’t on Ozempic. The ignorance is disheartening to me. I would just pray for people or if I had nothing to say I would shut the hell up and say nothing at all, but y’all don’t know how to f*****g do that. It amazes me how negative the world is.”

T-Boz went on to explain that scar tissue from a 24-year-old injury is what caused the blockage. In her caption, she shared that she’s looking forward to TLC’s rescheduled shows, and is doing well. “ONLY BECAUSE ITS OUT THERE… THANK U FOR ALL THE LOVE AND CONCERN I APPRECIATE YOU ALL!!! But let me help educate some since there’s so many new doctors out here and y’all seem to know so much about everything but nothing…. Stay Happy and Healthy …. Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign Reportedly Cancel “Vultures 2” Listening Event In Taiwan

Last month, Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign announced plans to celebrate the latest installment of their Vultures trilogy with a listening party in Taiwan. The event was scheduled for August 25, though it now appears to have been called off. Taiwan News, Mirror Media, and various Ye fan accounts have reported the apparent cancellation.

“[I]t was reported that the organizer informed the manufacturers that ‘the event is cancelled,’ but no official cancellation announcement has been made yet,” Mirror Media reports. At the time of writing, the ticketing site does not list the event as canceled. Ye and Ty Dolla Sign have also yet to update fans on the status of the listening party. Their other listening event in Korea, which is planned for August 23, seems to be proceeding as expected.

For now, it remains unclear whether or not the Taiwan listening party will actually take place. It’s also unknown why it might have been canceled. Ye’s been making plenty of headlines lately for everything from his relationship with Bianca Censori to Adidas’ class action lawsuit against him, which could potentially have something to do with it.

This month, rumors that the Chicago MC is addicted to nitrous oxide have also been floating around, thanks to his former Chief of Staff Milo Yiannopoulos. Yiannopoulos alleges that Ye’s been getting concerning amounts of the gas from his dentist, Thomas P. Connelly. Connelly denies this, though a worrisome text message exchange surfaced online last week, which appears to suggest otherwise. These rumors are also unconfirmed. Earlier this week, it was announced that Lauryn Hill canceled the North American leg of her upcoming Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill anniversary tour with the Fugees only days before it was scheduled to begin. While this certainly left fans disappointed, most weren’t surprised. Hill doesn’t exactly have a perfect attendance record and is known to arrive late or cancel shows altogether.

Shortly after the announcement, Hill took to Instagram to provide fans with an explanation for the last-minute cancelation. According to her, “some media outlet’s penchant for sensationalism and clickbait headlines have seemingly created a narrative that has affected ticket sales.” Her statement prompted a bit of backlash from some fans. They think Hill should shoulder at least some of the blame for her infamous reputation.

Recently, he told TMZ Hip Hop that he too finds her frequent tardiness disheartening. “I saved her reputation for 20 years by not telling my side of the story,” he said. “But oops … cat’s out the bag.” At the time of writing, the Fugees are still scheduled to proceed with dates in the UK and Europe. Kendrick Lamar’s Last-Minute Tecate Pa’l Norte Cancellation Leaves Fans Disappointed

Kendrick Lamar was previously scheduled to headline Tecate Pa’l Norte on Friday (March 29), but ended up canceling the show last minute. The announcement arrived only hours before he was expected to hit the stage. The music festival takes place annually at the Parque Fundidora in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. Organizers shared the unfortunate news in an official statement.

She says that she’s doing her best to get well ahead of the show tonight, but her voice is still on the mend. Lil Durk Says He’s “Almost Healed” In New Health Update

Earlier this month, it was reported that Lil Durk had been hospitalized due to dehydration and exhaustion. The rapper later shared that he had been released from the hospital, telling fans he was on the road to recovery. His health struggles appear to have been more serious than what listeners expected, unfortunately. Durk ended up cancelling a slew of dates on his “Sorry For The Drought” tour, telling fans that he was not yet in the clear to perform.
