Nicki Minaj & 21 Savage Rumored To Become “Call Of Duty” Characters

Nicki Minaj and 21 Savage are two artists at the top of their respective games right now. Of course, Nicki is set to release Pink Friday 2 in November. Moreover, 21 is currently on tour with Drake. He has been in Boston for the last couple of nights, however, he will not be making the trip out to Montreal. In fact, 21 cannot attend any of the Canadian events for the tour. Although this has proven to be disappointing, Drake is ready to rock the show on his own.

When you think of both 21 and Nicki Minaj, you probably aren’t thinking about Call of Duty. Well, you may just have to change that attitude, very soon. According to a leaker by the name of @HeyImAlaix on Twitter, there is some data mining that suggests the two artists will soon be characters in the game. They would come in the form of “operators.” Essentially, they would be playable characters that you can use in multiplayer. Overall, this would be for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.

Lil Uzi Vert Teases Another New Album After “Pink Tape”

Lil Uzi Vert just released their highly anticipated new album Pink Tape. The album features collaborations with rappers like Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, and Don Toliver as well as metal bands like Bring Me The Horizon and BABYMETAL. While it served up 23 songs and three more bonus tracks rumors swirled about how many more tracks had been recorded. Now Uzi has shut down rumors of a pending deluxe edition of the album.

In a recent livestream while playing Call Of Duty a fan asked Uzi about whether or not Pink Tape would get a deluxe album. Their answer was pretty definitive. “Nah, I’m gonna drop a whole ‘nother album,” they quickly responded. While fans were clearly hoping for new music even the most optimistic probably weren’t expecting a new album. It wouldn’t be the first time that Uzi turned right around with new material. When they released their last highly-anticipated album Eternal Atake in 2020, it got a “deluxe” edition just a week later. Turns out that the deluxe edition was an entirely new album in itself, Lil Uzi Vert vs The World 2.

Lil Uzi Vert Teases New Album

This isn’t the only time recently that Call Of Duty has played a role in a viral clip of Lil Uzi Vert. In an adorable video that made the rounds last week, Uzi reunited with Nardwuar. The pair did a classic interview together in 2018 that fans still quote and remix today. At the end of their conversation, Uzi hilarious invites Nardwuar over to his house for dinner under the premise that the rapper will teach him how to play Call Of Duty.

Last week Lil Uzi Vert hosted a “Pink Tape Party” and celebs showed out. They took pictures with rapper Trippie Redd and made up with partner JT after a viral fight at the BET Awards. The pair have since cleared the air and made sure nobody misinterpreted anything. What do you think of Lil Uzi Vert teasing their new album? Let us know in the comment section below.

Lil Uzi Vert Invites Nardwuar To His House To Play Call Of Duty

Lil Uzi Vert and Nardwuar’s friendship is one of the most wholesome in all of music. The two teamed up for a classic interview in 2018 which featured many memeable moments fans still share today. Clips of Uzi being strangely scared of Nardwuar still circulate. A few days ago the two ran into each other in an absolutely adorable moment. They couldn’t help but exchange a hug and tell each other how much they’ve missed one another.

Now in a new clip, Uzi takes it a step further. As the pair discuss how they can meet up in the future, Uzi makes a proposition. The “Just Wanna Rock” rapper invites Nardwuar over to his house for dinner. Included in the offer is a chance for Uzi to teach Nardwuar how to play Call Of Duty. Nardwuar seems thrilled by the invitation and instantly agrees. While there doesn’t seem to be a set date for the exchange, fans are expecting more Uzi and Nardwuar content in the future.

Lil Uzi Vert Makes Nardwuar An Offer

Lil Uzi Vert has had a pretty busy week even beyond their interactions with Nardwuar. Over the weekend they were filmed getting into a now-viral fight with partner JT. Fans initially thought it might have had something to do with Ice Spice, but both parties quickly shut that down. Uzi shouted out Ice Spice in a song they played during the award show which is off their new album The Pink Tape. Uzi announced the long-awaited new project earlier this week.

Along with the announcement of The Pink Tape Lil Uzi Vert made some strange claims. They said that they’re a better dresser than notoriously fashionable rapper A$AP Rocky which got fans’ attention. Uzi also hosted a party in celebration of the upcoming new album, which is expected to be released tomorrow. During the party, they were photographed with rapper Trippie Redd and shown patching things up with JT. What do you think about Lil Uzi Vert’s invitation to Nardwuar? Let us know in the comment section below.

Kevin Durant Gets Warzone Operator

Call of Duty: Warzone is the long-running first-person shooter’s answer to the massively popular battle royale genre. Originally released in March 2020, the free-to-play game has earned a massive following. In April 2021, developer Activision announced that Warzone had surpassed 100 million active players. It also spawned a robust competitive scene. Arguably, the game became the premiere esports product for the Call of Duty franchise, even if Activision wanted to focus its attention on the Call of Duty League.

While Warzone was not without its flaws or detractors, it proved to be a big enough success for Activision to warrant a sequel. Warzone 2.0 was released in 2022 alongside Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. A core part of the game’s visual aesthetic is the ability to buy specific skins, known as “operators”, to apply to your character. These often look like famous individuals, and now an NBA superstar is set to become the latest one.

Kevin Durant Is Latest Sports Superstar-themed Operator

In the past, Warzone has added operators modeled after the likes of Neymar, Messi, and Paul Pogba. Now it appears that the Phoenix Suns’ Kevin Durant will be the next sports star enshrined in the game. A teaser clip was uploaded by the official Warzone account that made reference to an “Easy Money Sniper”. EasyMoneySniper just so happens to be Durant’s Instagram handle. This was seemingly confirmed when the Warzone Facebook page “accidentally” uploaded the clip with the caption “KD_Teaser”. That was quickly deleted, but not before plenty of screenshots had been taken.

Further details have revealed that the Kevin Durant operator will become available on May 10 alongside the launch of Warzone 2.0‘s third in-game season. Based on previous operator releases, Kevin Durant will likely cost 2400 CoD points (~$20). “Swish”, a pro Warzone player for the New York Subliners organization, also uploaded images showing the Kevin Durant operator model.

Durant is seen wearing gear of the in-game weapons manufacturer Bruen, as well as wielding a climbing axe. As for the actual Durant, he is still locked in a tight playoff battle with the New York Knicks. Are you excited to play as Kevin Durant in Warzone?

“Call Of Duty” Secures New Deal With Nintendo

Call Of Duty is one of the most popular video game franchises in the entire world. Throughout the years, this game has sold millions of copies. Overall, it is one of those titles that get a brand-new game, every single year. Although some fans are sick of these games, it is clear that most people like picking up the latest title. After all, Call Of Duty is a great way to stay connected with your friends through gaming. Those late-night COD sessions have always been amazing, regardless of the quality of the game itself.

Over the years, Activision has had a deal in place with Microsoft to make it so that the Xbox gets certain COD perks first. However, this has ultimately hurt fans of other consoles. This is especially true for those who have the Nintendo Switch. The Switch has gotten COD games on occasion, however, they game usually gets released months later. Moreover, fans don’t get all of the same DLCs and content packs. Now, though, that looks to be changing as Microsoft and Nintendo have entered a new agreement.

“Call Of Duty” x Nintendo

Brad Smith, the vice chair and president of Microsoft revealed on Tuesday that Nintendo has entered a 10-year deal with Microsoft. This deal makes it so that all future Call Of Duty games will be released on the Switch at the exact same time as the Xbox. Additionally, gamers will be able to every single content pack that Activision and its developers have to offer. Overall, this is a massive win for Nintendo gamers who are oftentimes forgotten about. Over the years, the console has been seen as a vessel for family-friendly games, which leaves little room for first-person shooters.

Hopefully, this deal works out for everyone. Ten years is most definitely a long time, however, Call Of Duty is one of those franchises that will never go away. Activision has covered a lot of ground with this franchise, so we are curious to see where they go next. Let us know what you think of the latest COD games, down in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the video game world.

Microsoft, Nintendo Reach 10-Year Deal For Call Of Duty Rights

A new 10-year agreement has been reached between Microsoft and Nintendo. The deal will ensure that the Call of Duty video games are available on Nintendo consoles if Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard closes.

According to reports from The Verge, the deal is a clear attempt to pressure Sony into accepting a similar offer. The decade-long length is similar to what Microsoft offered Sony earlier this week.

Now that Nintendo has agreed to the deal, Microsoft hopes that Sony will follow suit. If they do agree to the deal, each new Call of Duty release will also be available on PlayStation consoles the same day as XBox.

However, Sony has reportedly been warning regulators of its concerns surrounding the future of the first-person shooter video game franchise. A recent 10-year commitment by Sony followed a public back and forth between the Japanese corporation and Microsoft.

Additionally, Microsoft has promised to continue offering new versions of the video game franchise on Steam. These will launch simultaneously with the Call of Duty launches on XBox consoles.

On January 18, Microsoft officially announced its intention to acquire Activision Blizzard for a whopping $68.7 billion.

If and when the acquisition closes and becomes official, the video game franchise will essentially belong to Microsoft’s corporation.

The first self-titled Call of Duty game was published and launched by Activision in 2003. Since then, the company has released 19 titles in the game’s main series.

The franchise remains one of the most popular in the world. According to a report from Paste Magazine earlier this year, the first-person shooter series is the third best-selling franchise of all time.

I think it’s safe to say that no matter the agreements in place, Call of Duty will continue to be played and enjoyed by gamers all over the world. With 425 million sales in 19 years, it beat out Super Mario and Grand Theft Auto for the third spot.

What do you think of the new agreement between Microsoft and Nintendo? Will Sony follow suit? Comment down below.

Cardi B Regrets Turning Down A Multi-Million Dollar Deal With ‘Call Of Duty’

One of the most entertaining Twitter presences is Cardi B, whether she’s getting other rappers suspended or shutting down stans who are spreading rumors. Today, she shared a mistake that she’s learned from.

“My stupid decisions from the past caused me to miss out on money now,” she wrote in a tweet. “I had a multi-million dollar Call of Duty deal on the table that I couldn’t take because of court. Guys think twice about those quick decisions! Lesson learned.”

Luckily, the “WAP” performer is by no means short on money. Earlier this month she even stopped by her old Bronx middle school, Morris Park’s IS 232, to give back to her beginning by donating $100,000, with the hopes of the pledge being used for developing arts education and after-school programs. She was joined by New York City schools chancellor David Banks, Community Capacity Development founder K. Bain, and principal Desiree Resto, as she also gave students an inspirational speech: “I’m hoping we can have amazing after-school activities. Maybe like tutoring or maybe something fun like a music program. Y’all like music, y’all like to dance?”

Cardi B is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Snoop Dogg Will Be A Playable Character In Three ‘Call Of Duty’ Games

Snoop Dogg’s love of gaming is well-documented; last year, he hosted a Super Bowl XBox tournament alongside Saweetie, this year, he joined the gamer crew FaZe Clan, and he’s a well-known streamer on Twitch, bringing his unique personality and wisecracks to the masses. He’s even been in a few games, perhaps most notably in Def Jam: Fight For NY as that game’s surprising final boss. Now, gamers can play with Snoop Dogg in another popular game, although this time in a different genre.

Today, Activision announced that Snoop will join its immensely popular shooter series, Call Of Duty, as a playable character in three of the franchise’s current offerings: Call Of Duty: Mobile, Call Of Duty: Vanguard, and Call Of Duty: Warzone. To acquire the character in the console versions, players can look for him on April 19 at 10 am PT. The character includes “a full Operator progression track,” along with alternate outfits. The mobile version will be available via Lucky Draw on April 1. Naturally, Snoop will be voicing himself, as he did in Call Of Duty: Ghosts

“The D O Double G is back in Call of Duty and this time I’m in the freakin’ game!” Snoop said in the press release. “Excited to be working with the COD team to bring some fly features for you all to enjoy. It’s dope….. y’all can play as me and get these sick items that have Snoop written all over them. Check it out.”

Just when you thought Snoop’s brand couldn’t get any stronger, think again.

The hip hop legend and music mogul is set to join Call Of Duty: Warzone, Vanguard, and Mobile as a playable operator. According to IGN, the news came from a Call of Duty blog. Player’s first chance at playing as the legend will be in season 3 of Call of Duty Mobile. They will have to enter into a lucky draw on April 1 to be able to play as Snoop.

“The D O Double G is back in Call of Duty and this time I’m in the freakin’ game!” Snoop said in the COD blog post. “Excited to be working with the COD team to bring some fly features for you all to enjoy. It’s dope….. y’all can play as me and get these sick items that have Snoop written all over them. Check it out.”

Snoops character will be fitted with a 24k gold embroidered outfit and a signature gold plated and diamond-encrusted SMG.

On April 19, the Snoop Dogg Operator Bundle will become available in Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard. This bundle is different from the COD Mobile bundle that “includes ten items – three of which are exclusive to Vanguard – and a full Operator progression track. These items include Weapon XP for Snoop’s weapon, three alternate outfits, and other cosmetic items.”

However, this isn’t the first time Snoop has been a part of the COD franchise before. In a Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC, players had the option of switching the announcers voice to that of Snoop.
