Bryce James To Leave Sierra Canyon

It’s been a busy couple of weeks for the family of LeBron James. First, his eldest son Bronny finally settled on his future, signing a Letter of Intent to attend USC. Bronny, ESPN‘s #19 prospect, is expected to be a top-10 draft pick in 2024. However, LeBron has another basketball-playing son, Bryce. Bryce, 15, is currently playing at Sierra Canyon High School, where he played alongside his older brother.

Bryce is currently ranked outside the top-25 for ESPN‘s 2025 recruiting class. He is ranked #73 on the On3 recruiting board. Furthermore, he has already received one scholarship offer, from Duquesne of the Atlantic-10. He is also a sought-after and well-liked prospect Nike’s EYBL Circuit. However, he is getting a major shakeup in his high school play.

According to a source with knowledge of the situation, Bryce James is set to transfer away from Sierra Canyon at the end of the school year. James will transfer to Campbell Hall, a private school in Studio City about 19 miles. Campbell Hall has an elite basketball prestige, and James will be joining a team that already includes the son of former NBA star Richard Hamilton. Furthermore, all three NBA-playing Holiday Brothers graduated from Campbell.

“I want Bryce, if I get to coach him, to be Bryce,” Campbell head coach David Grace told ESPN. “Because that’s special, and I want him to get the most out of his experience here at Campbell Hall and grow. He’s going to have way more than just me helping, but I’m going to try to do my part. I understand where he’s coming from to a point. I’m not him. My family wasn’t in that spotlight, but I’ve been around the spotlight and I can share my experiences, or I can just understand his experiences. That’s where I’ll grow as a coach.” Are you excited to see Bryce’s next steps? Let us know in the comments.

Although some people think he will be better than Bronny, there is no predicting how the younger James brother will fair as he gets older.

That said, all eyes were on him this weekend. Bryce James was in Phoenix as part of an Elite Youth Basketball League showcase. Overall, these showcases are a great way for young stars to show off their talents. The best high school players in the country can be found at these events, which means it is a good test of how solid of a prospect someone is. Regardless, Bryce is just 15 and he still has a lot of development to do. It is impossible to say for sure what kind of prospect he will be. LeBron James Stunned By Bronny’s Dunk Over Bryce

LeBron James is the greatest player of this generation. Overall, he has won four NBA titles, has the all-time NBA scoring record, and still has a lot left in the tank. In fact, James’ next goal is to play with his son, Bronny. Although Bronny just finished up high school, he is expected to be part of the 2024 NBA draft class. Some ESPN mock drafts even see Bronny as a top-10 pick. It makes sense when you consider how the team that drafts Bronny will also get LeBron. Moreover, Bronny has proven to be an amazing two-way talent.

Speaking of Bronny, he is set to play in the McDonald’s All-American game today. Last night, he also competed in the Slam Dunk Contest that was part of the festivities. The highlight of the entire night was when Bronny placed his younger brother Bryce just in front of the rim. Subsequently, the High School Senior ran up with the ball and dunked over Bryce in front of the packed arena. It was an incredible moment that immediately went viral on social media.

LeBron Reacts

As for LeBron, he is someone who is always quick to comment on the accomplishments of his sons. Consequently, it should come as no surprise that he had something to say about Bronny’s heroics. That said, this time around, James was a bit lost for words, and understandably so. “That’s insane,” he wrote on Instagram. Back in the day, LeBron won this very contest, so it must have been cool to see Bronny competing. Unfortunately, the oldest James brother did not win as he was unable to secure a dunk in the final round.

Either way, it will be interesting to see how Bronny does in the game today. He will be up against some of the best competition in the entire country. Moreover, many are wondering if he will finally announce where he is going to college. This is a big decision and the entire basketball world is curious as to who will get his services. After all, his dad has made it clear that he wants to play with him. That would be an incredible sight to see, and we will likely get to bare witness to it as early as Fall 2024.

Firstly, Bronny must compete in the McDonald’s All-American game today. It is a showcase of some of the best high school talents in the country. Although this won’t affect his recruitment, there is no denying he will want to have a good showing. He is playing the best in the country, and the fans want to see him hold his own. Yesterday, that is exactly what he did in the Powerade JamFest. This is a dunk contest that allows for the selected teenagers to showcase just how creative they can be.

Bronny Continues To Impress

Bronny certainly made an amazing impression with his efforts throughout the competition. His best dunk involved his younger brother Bryce, who was used as a prop of sorts. Moreover, Savannah James was in the crowd and she immediately gave her son a 10/10. Unfortunately, Bronny was unable to win the showcase as he missed his final attempts in the last round.
