Stephen A. Smith has covered a ton of amazing athletes throughout the course of his career. Overall, he has seen numerous generations of NBA superstars. One of those superstars is none other than LeBron James. Although Smith has had criticisms of LeBron over the years, there is no doubt that he has also had praise for the man. This is especially true when it comes to what kind of person LeBron has been. Stephen A. cannot say enough good things about LeBron as both a father and a husband.

Speaking of fatherhood, LeBron’s oldest son Bronny is currently set to choose where he will go to school. Moreover, he is already being looked at by NBA teams. Consequently, ESPN recently came through a mock draft in which they tried to predict where James is going to go in the 2024 draft. For now, they have him going 10th overall. This is quite a bit of praise, however, some believe it is premature to say something like this. As for Stephen A., he has always been a bit wary when it comes to talking about LeBron’s child.

“I’ve never talked about Bronny James and it’s because of his father,” Stephen A. said. “I think that it is unfair to bring that kind of scrutiny on the kid and I’m very very protective of him in that regard. Obviously, his name is going to continue to elevate in the mind’s eye and I think that LeBron James is the cause of that because he’s made it very very clear that his goal is to stay in the NBA until his son arrives.” Overall, Smith makes a great point about putting too much pressure on a teenager too early. As the son of LeBron, Bronny is already dealing with immense pressure, and he doesn’t need any more.

Moving forward, it will be interesting to see where Bronny decides to go. One would imagine Ohio State would be at the top of his list. Jalen Rose was famous for his NBA career, although there is no doubt that he was famous in college as well. Rose was part of the “Fab 5” over at Michigan. Overall, they were an amazing basketball team that is still heralded to this day. As a direct result of his time in college, Rose is quite fond of college hopes. ESPN Reveals Why Bronny James Jr. Is Top 10 In 2024 Mock Draft

Bronny James Jr. is easily the biggest name in the entire high school basketball scene. This has been true over the last three years. Overall, it is very easy to see why this is the case. After all, Bronny is the son of LeBron James. Moreover, LeBron has made it clear that he wants to play on the same court as Bronny. This means whoever drafts Bronny will also likely get LeBron. This puts a lot of pressure on the 18-year-old to succeed, as a ton of people have him pegged for the biggest league in the world.

Moving forward, James has a big decision to make as it pertains to where he will go to school. There are plenty of options for him out there. Although, it seems like Oregon, USC, and Ohio State are the three teams that he is taking a closer look at. Either way, the young star has big expectations to live up to, and the recent mock draft from ESPN is not making it any easier. As you can see in the tweet below, Bronny is now projected to be a top-10 pick. In this particular draft, Bronny would be on the Orlando Magic.

According to ESPN’s Jonathan Givony, Bronny is well-deserving of this spot in the mock draft. Of course, because of who Bronny is, many were shocked by the high ranking. Although, Givony gave a good explanation as to why the oldest James brother would end up so high. “Bronny James is now a projected top-10 pick thanks to the significant jump he’s made at Sierra Canyon, developing into arguably the best perimeter defender in his class while making strides with his shooting and playmaking,” he wrote.

Overall, it is clear that Bronny is being heralded for his abilities as a two-way player. While he is by no means the best scorer in his class, he can definitely prove himself as a solid point guard. Bronny James Jr. is easily one of the most talked about teenagers when it comes to basketball right now. He is currently in his final season at Sierra Canyon, and soon, he must decide where he will be going to college. Overall, there are plenty of schools that want to give him an offer. Some of these schools include USC, Ohio State, and even Oregon. For now, it remains to be seen where he will go, although Oregon seems to be the favorite right now. No matter what, he and his father have a lot to be excited about right now.

Bronny has always said that he will make his decision after the season. Needless to say, he could be making his decision in the coming days or weeks as his team recently lost a playoff game. They lost the match by just a couple of points, however, Bronny was solid throughout the game. He picked up 11 points and was great on the defensive end. LeBron Consults With Bronny & Bryce Before Breaking Scoring Record: Watch

LeBron has been in the midst of a nice individual season with the Los Angeles Lakers. While the team has been struggling to string some wins together, James has been playing some great basketball. Overall, he is averaging over 30 points per game, and he is a joy to watch every single night. Additionally, he has been trying to chase down Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s scoring record. This has been a nice side story to follow as it just showcases James’ greatness. Beating this record is no easy task, however, James was closer than ever heading into Tuesday night’s game against the Thunder.

LeBron needed just 36 points to overtake Kareem. Many felt like it would be broken on Thursday against the Bucks. That said, LeBron knows he needs to have big nights in order to give his team a chance to win. Consequently, it wasn’t out of the realm of possibility that he would break the record. As you can see in the video down below, LeBron actually consulted with his sons Bronny and Bryce. He asked them if he should go for it tonight, and they told him yes. Subsequently, James went out there and broke the record.

Bronny & The Recruiters

With Bronny looking to find a new school, numerous coaches and recruiters have been trying to contact him. However, it’s reportedly been very difficult to do so. In a report from Legion Hoops, it was revealed that there are numerous PR hurdles in order to get in a room with Bronny. Essentially, coaches must go through Savannah James first. Although, it isn’t easy to get to her either.

“I tried to get involved, but you had to jump through a thousand hoops just to get to the mom,” the coach said. “You’re not allowed to talk to the kid. You have to schedule a time on Tuesday or Thursday with the publicist just to talk to the mom.”

LeBron and Savannah understand just how famous and in-demand Bronny is right now. As a result, they are simply trying to protect him. However, that has evidently rubbed at least one coach the wrong way. Regardless, James is likely going to USC, Ohio State, or Oregon, so most recruiting is a moot point, anyway.

Bronny James Jr. is currently in his final year at Sierra Canyon. Over the past 12 months, many have noticed his growth as a player. He has become one of the top recruits in the nation, and he still has to choose his school. Consequently, he has narrowed it down to three places, including Oregon, USC, and Ohio State.

Moreover, there is this sense that at his current trajectory, he could be a first-round pick in the NBA. Of course, LeBron would love this as it would mean an opportunity to play with his son. However, only time will tell whether or not the prophecy comes true.

Bronny Wins Big

Today, it was revealed that Bronny would become part of the 2023 McDonald’s All-American team. This is one of the highest honors for high school basketball players as it showcases what the basketball community thinks of you. Now, Bronny will get to represent the team from out West.

As you can imagine, his father was incredibly hyped about all of this. He even took to Instagram where he showcased just how proud he is.

“Ayyyyyyyeeeeee @bronny!!!!!! Congratulations Son! So damn proud of you! Continue to be you through it all no matter what!! You’re truly AMAZING!!!” he wrote. “P.S. Congrats to all the other men and women who was named as well in the 2023 Class Micky D’s games! It’s an HONOR”

Bronny will have an opportunity to show out in the upcoming game, and all eyes will be on him. Despite carrying immense pressure, he seems to be handling it all in stride.

Bronny Flexes His Kicks

As the son of a famous athlete, James has been able to acquire some incredible sneakers over the years. He has shown these shoes off at times, and fans have always been impressed. Back in 2020, he flexed a “Shattered Backboard” Travis Scott Off-White Air Jordan 1, which was obviously a custom.

Thanks to a recent tweet from @KicksFinder on Twitter, these shoes have resurfaced on social media. As you can see down below, the kicks are actually patent leather and contain that white, black, and orange color scheme that made the “Shattered Backboard” look famous. Moreover, we have the backward swoosh and some of those classic Off-White details.

For hardcore sneakerheads, these will likely be a pass simply because they are not official. However, you can tell that Bronny has already established his taste in footwear. Who knows? Perhaps some day he will have his own signature sneaker.

LeBron James is currently looking to break Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record for most points in the regular season. Overall, LeBron is a legend, and he will likely beat this record in under 10 games. Needless to say, the man has come through with some truly incredible accolades.

Bronny Impresses

According to a report from Jonathan Givony, Bronny was on fire during the Hoophall Classic. Subsequently, scouts are calling for him to be a first-round pick. Moreover, there is this feeling that he is one of the few high school recruits who is developing at a rapid pace.

“Standing around 6-4 with a chiseled frame and long wingspan, James fits the bill for what NBA teams are looking for physically,” Givony wrote. “He put on a clinic defensively on the ball at Hoophall with five steals and one block. He uses his frame to get over screens seamlessly, almost always makes the right rotations plugging gaps off the ball, is smart about using verticality to protect the rim and generates countless deflections with his excellent mobility.”

Bronny is one of those players who is definitely going to move the needle over the next little while. He has a lot of fans tuning into Sierra Canyon games, and his upcoming college decision will be quite the showcase.
