Floyd Mayweather And Devin Haney’s Father Are Beefing Online

Devin Haney lost by majority decision to Ryan Garcia on Saturday night. Haney was knocked down by Garcia three times in the latter rounds. Haney looked overmatched as the fight drew on and surprisingly dropped the first loss of his professional career to Garcia. Haney retained his title because Garcia had not made weight before the matchup. Haney was optimistic after suffering defeat. Overall, the match was entertaining. There will most certainly be a rematch between the two young fighters.

Now, after the fight, Floyd Mayweather and Haney’s father, bull Haney, are beefing online. Bill Haney has apparently been lashing out after the Garcia loss. The reaction to his son’s loss has now led to a heated exchange with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather. The two went back and forth online, arguing about several different issues between them. Haney most noticeably called out Mayweather as a selfish individual. Mayweather has been involved with Devin Haney for some time, helping train the young fighter on multiple occasions. The beef has probably been stewing for some time.

Floyd Mayweather And Bil Haney Exchange Heated Words

The Beef seems to have started after Mayweather called and congratulated Ryan Garcia after his big win against Devin Haney. Bill Haney did not appreciate that, implying that it showed disloyalty to his son. Floyd called Bil Haney to see where all the negative feelings came from. Haney responded to Mayweather, saying, “I been knowing you for hella long but I feel like you a bullshit ass n—a. That’s how I feel like it, me, myself, personally…I feel like you a bullshit ass n—a based on your actions about everybody’s that’s been in the town that’s been down with you. They doing dirtball bad. Ain’t nobody doing real good fuckin’ with you.”

The argument went on for a while after Haney’s response. “You was talking about that sparring shit,” Haney said. “I seen you beat n—as up in sparring…and when my son got down on you…”. To which Floyd responded “Bill, if your son is undefeated in the gym, congratulations!” he then dropped the mic saying,  Congratulations that you got an undefeated fighter in the gym. I’m the under the lights type fighter.” The beef adds another interesting wrinkle in the Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia fight. The rematch will definitely add even more interest as a new feud develops between Mayweather and Bill Haney.

Everything went as planned for Garcia, who can now get back to some semblance of normal behavior after his big win. He said he was committed to his plan and “wouldn’t budge for nobody.” He said it didn’t matter what show or podcast he was on because he was going to put on a show.

Ryan Garcia won the first battle against Devin Haney. Hopefully, there will be a rematch in the near future. Haney will want to bounce back from the embarrassing defeat. Devin Haney Addresses Ryan Garcia Loss

Ryan Garcia seems to have been successful in hyping up his Devin Haney fight last night (Saturday, April 20), because it resulted in a big upset. Garcia beat the WBC junior lightweight title holder by majority decision after 12 rounds at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, knocking him down to the ground thrice throughout. The first was with a left hook to the head in the seventh round, and two more in the tenth and eleventh rounds, respectively. However, Haney still has his title, since his opponent did not make weight before the match-up. Still, it was a pretty exciting match that its losing competitor reflected on via Twitter in the wee hours of Sunday (April 21).

“Alhamdulillah Allah is the perfect planner he makes no mistakes..” Devin Haney expressed on the social media platform. “Fought like a true champion. Got up off the canvas & kept fighting. I am 100% ok & would love to do it again while we both make weight. I have no broken anything btw way like i said im Ok. Same way you dish be able to take it.. I will be back InshaAllah.”

Devin Haney Speaks Out After Losing To Ryan Garcia But Keeping His Title

Of course, this battle followed a lot of antics and social media firestorms mostly caused by Ryan Garcia’s unabashed and often bizarre claims and takes. For example, he recently claimed that Drake slept with Bobbi Althoff, thus causing her divorce and resulting in the odd falling-out that they seemed to have online following their interview, and none of this has been confirmed. As for Devin Haney, he mostly stayed out of these things although he’s no stranger to public scrutiny. Still, when compared to Garcia’s antics and his relentless addresses of any other topic besides boxing, it seems like his composure wasn’t enough to cinch the victory.

Meanwhile, with no lost title here, perhaps the San Francisco native will feel even more pressured to defend it next time, as this loss could have a big impact. Or maybe he will instead have to look elsewhere for inspiration, as we don’t really know how he interprets this loss. Is the technicality comforting or does it add insult to injury? Either way, we’ll see what goes down between these two contentious titans in the near future. For more news on Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney, stick around on HNHH.

Garcia’s antics have definitely brought eyes to the fight, and even through controversy or outlandish statements, the attention is probably what matters most. He has fired shots at Kanye West for refusing to walk him after Garcia’s “No Diddy” tweets. Garcia also made some bold claims about Bobbi Althoff and Drake, which caused even more drama. On top of Butcherfest, he also has multiple collaborations under his belt. Plus, Benny owns a merchandise empire, as well as Black Soprano Family Records. From this vantage point, he’s in control of everything in his career, signing new talent while having full creative autonomy.

For music, Benny the Butcher is dealing with a few snafus. He continues to go back and forth with the direction of his upcoming summer album with Hit-Boy, Everybody Can’t Go, letting fans know not to expect “boom bap beats.” He’s also losing collab clout with Drake and Jay-Z. Gervonta Davis’s Biggest Legal Scandals

Gervonta Davis is one of the best boxers in the world. With a 29-0 record, world championships in three weight classes, and a recent win over the previously undefeated Ryan Garcia, Davis’s resume speaks for itself. However, despite a long list of successes within the ring, controversy, scandals, and arrests have plagued Gervonta’s public image.

At the beginning of June of 2023, Davis was taken into custody at Baltimore Central Booking. Gervonta was already on house arrest for three months after a hit-and-run incident. However, he allegedly violated the conditions of his home confinement, leading to his incarceration. It now seems that Davis will have to serve the rest of his sentence in jail. Unfortunately, this most recent incident is just one in a long line of scandals for Gervonta Davis. Here’s a look at Gervonta Davis’s biggest scandals and arrests.

February 2020: Charge Of Simple Battery Domestic Violence

Davis was arrested on February 4, 2020 on the University of Miami’s campus due to an altercation with his daughter’s mother. In a video of the altercation, Davis is seen grabbing a woman near her neck and pulling her out of her seat at a charity basketball game during Super Bowl weekend. In the arrest affidavit, the victim of the assault claimed that Davis struck her in the face-off camera, and there were injuries on the victim’s face that confirmed this.

Despite this, Gervonta Davis denied the allegations on social media. He wrote, “I never once hit her, yea I was aggressive and told her come on … that’s the mother of my child I would never hurt her.” Davis later deleted the post. He was held on $1,500 bail and later released.

November 2020: Hit-And-Run Accident

The incident that led to Davis’s current incarceration occurred nearly three years ago on November 5, 2020. According to statements made to the police, Davis was driving a Lamborghini Urus SUV in the early hours of the morning when he struck another car after running a red light. Four people were injured in the accident, including a pregnant woman, Jyair Smith. Davis faced fourteen charges related to the incident.

In September 2022, a judge declined Davis’s plea deal. Along with this, some more horrifying details of the incident were revealed at the trial. The aforementioned Jyair Smith stated that she was trapped in a smoking vehicle and screaming. She told the Baltimore Sun that Davis “looked me in the eyes, and he never came over to help.” Smith also stated that the accident severely injured her knee. This caused her to be unable to work or play with her kids. Smith pursued a civil case against Davis, while the other three victims settled with him.

Gervonta Davis was arrested on December 27, 2022 after allegedly striking a woman with a “close hand type slap.” ESPN obtained the audio of the police call the woman made. In the call, she stated, “Please help me; I need help, please. I’m trying to go home, I have a baby in the car and [he] attacked me. … He’s going to kill me.” Davis once again denied these allegations on social media.

In his post, Davis wrote, “I NEVER PUT MY HANDS ON MY CHILD MOTHER NOR MY F***ING DAUGHTER… I’M NOT A MONSTER I BEEN QUIET FOR TOO LONG. … THAT’S THE ONLY REASON I’M DOING THIS NOW! JUST TO CLEAR MY NAME!” Just days later, the woman claimed that Davis did not harm her or her daughter.

The woman also posted about the incident on social media. She wrote, “While the emotions were running high I made an unnecessary call to law enforcement in an intense moment while I was frantic. Gervonta did not harm me or our daughter. Today, we have sought the help necessary to move forward with our lives. I am confident that we will succeed within our co-parenting dynamic with the counseling provided to us.” The woman soon dropped the charges against Davis.

May 2023: Sentencing for Hit-And-Run & Current Incarceration

The sentencing for the hit-and-run incident occurred on May 5, 2023. Davis avoided jail time but was sentenced to 90 days of house arrest, three years of probation, and 200 hours of community service. The Baltimore Banner reported that Davis spent his house arrest in between a Four Seasons Hotel and a $3.4 million penthouse apartment in South Baltimore without the judge’s permission. Ultimately, the judge determined this was a violation of his house arrest condition and ruled that Davis would serve the rest of his sentence in jail.

Davis has spent the best years of his boxing career in legal trouble. Despite his immense talent and entertaining personality, his legal battles have stained his reputation. However, Davis is still only 28 years old. There is still time to mature outside of the boxing ring. Yet, given what has been seen over the past few years, Gervonta Davis has proved to be one of the most controversial figures in sports.

Oscar De La Hoya’s Reason For Absence After Ryan Garcia Loss

Oscar De La Hoya had to leave rather quickly in the aftermath of Ryan Garcia’s KO loss to Gervonta Davis on Saturday. Davis ended Garcia’s night in the seventh round. The final blow was a massive body shot that sent Garcia to one knee. Garcia was unable to answer the ten count of the referee. As the pain from the body shot was visibly impacting Garcia. However, fans soon noticed that De La Hoya was no longer in Garcia’s corner after the bout had finished. For De La Hoya, he had a good reason for leaving.

De La Hoya answered fans’ concerns about the Hall-of-Fame boxer on social media. “My security team told me ‘boss we gotta get the f*** out of here’ because I received death threats. You guys don’t know this, I received death threats throughout the whole week, and they just said it was simply too dangerous, so we got out of there.” It seems that the Golden Boy promoter had to leave for his own safety. The build-up for Davis and Garcia was bad blood and hurt feelings until the final bell rang.

Oscar De La Hoya Feared For His Life

De La Hoya also let fans know that business partner and former boxing champion Bernard Hopkins was also okay. Hopkins was banned from everything dealing with the match after a dust-up with Davis and his camp at the weigh-ins. According to De La Hoya, Davis’ camp had Hopkins banned with the claim that he was trying to rub steroid cream on Davis. Video of the incident quickly circulated around Twitter. The incident had many fans wondering if Hopkins was guilty of the bizarre accusations.

Whatever the case may be, the fight has come and gone. Garcia suffered his first professional loss. As Gervonta Davis has now moved his star to legendary status. While many fans are alluding to a potential rematch. But the seventh-round finish has others saying no immediate rematch is necessary. Thankfully Oscar De La Hoya is now safe and can discuss the death threat issue he had to deal with on Saturday. For the latest news in sports, keep it locked in right here with HNHH.

Jake Paul Claims Wet Dream Derailed Tommy Fury Fight

Jake Paul just had a fight against Tommy Fury that did not go his way. Overall, Paul made the fight pretty close, however, Fury was able to win via split decision. Subsequently, there are already numerous talks about a rematch. There have been various reports saying that the rematch would go down in July. However, nothing has been made official at this time. Not to mention, it seems just a bit premature for Paul to ask for a rematch given his performance. He didn’t seem ready, and he still has a lot of work to do if he wants to beat Fury.

In the aftermath of this fight, Jake Paul has been doing all sorts of media with his brother Logan. For instance, he was recently on an episode of Impaulsive where he got to speak about the fight and some of the issues he faced. Overall, it was an insightful conversation where Paul took accountability for his L. However, he did mention the fact that he had a wet dream the night before the fight. This ultimately shook his confidence a bit as he had gone out of his way not to have sex before the fight.

Jake Paul Tells All

It should be noted that Jake doesn’t believe this is the only reason why he lost. Although, he does think it is part of the reason for his L. Logan went on to say that he experienced the same thing before fighting KSI. “I remember when it happened to me, mentally, I was kinda destroyed a little bit,” Logan Paul said. “You had just done this thing that isn’t easy for three weeks to a month, holding your batch in … it’s not easy. And then, on the day of the f***ing fight, all your progress is destroyed. You’re back to zero. And, it isn’t a little release, either, by the way. It’s like … it’s a lot, dude.”

Moving forward, it seems like Paul will simply be training a bit harder before his fights. If he cannot beat Tommy Fury, then he will have to go back to fighting against YouTube stars. It is a harsh reality, but that just seems to be the case right now. Stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the boxing world.
