Shakira released Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran in late March, but she hasn’t taken her foot off the gas. She put on a pop-up concert at TSX in New York City’s Times Square and visited Hot Ones. She took it up another notch on Friday night, April 12.

The crowd for Bizarrap’s Coachella 2024 set heard the she-wolf howl and knew. Shakira appeared on stage with “LA LOBA SE VIENE,” which translates to “the wolf is coming,” on the screen behind her. Shortly thereafter, Shakira used the same screen to announce her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.

Specific dates are presumably forthcoming, but Shakira confirmed on stage, “Finally, we are going on tour starting here. Starting here this November. This year in this city! I can’t wait.”

Of course, Shakira couldn’t crash Bizarrap’s set without performing “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53,” their January 2023 Billboard Hot 100 top-10 hit.

Shakira told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe that she’s “probably” done writing songs about Gerard Piqué, her ex-partner of 11ish years with whom she shares two children, after her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran track “Última.” That does not mean Shakira is done with performing existing songs directed toward Piqué, a la “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53,” especially now that she’s going on tour.

If ever there were a time for someone to rest on laurels, it would be after a gigantic statue in your image was erected in your hometown. And if that sounds like a strangely specific hypothetical, it’s because that exact scenario played out for Shakira in December when a 21-foot bronze statue of Shakira was unveiled in her hometown of Barranquilla, Colombia. However, instead of retiring, Shakira announced Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, her 12th studio album and first album since 2017. The LP is due out on March 22.

“My new album, coming out March 22, is one I created together with all of you, my pack of shewolves who were there for me every step of the way,” Shakira captioned an Instagram announcement on February 15. “Making this body of work has been an alchemical process. While writing each song, I was rebuilding myself. While singing them, my tears transformed into diamonds and my vulnerability into strength.”

This morning, February 29, Shakira unveiled the full Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tracklist, including the 2023 single “Acróstico” featuring her sons, Milan and Sasha. Check it out below.

Rauw Alejandro And Bizarrap Share ‘Baby Hello’ After Teasing The New Song In The ‘Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 56’ Video

Earlier this week, Rauw Alejandro and Bizarrap shared “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 56.” “God has never failed me, he has listened to my prayers,” Bizarrap wrote on his Instagram Story in Spanish, translated to English. “What a joy it gives me to finally release music together brother.”

Already, Alejandro is dropping new material. “Baby Hello” with Bizarrap is out today, and it’s taken from Alejandro’s highly anticipated forthcoming album Playa Saturno. It was teased at the end of the “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 56” video, so it’s not that much of a surprise to fans.

Alejandro has been the center of attention since he teamed up with world-dominating pop star Rosalía for the three-track project RR. Before it was even released, the two got engaged and became one of the most beloved celebrity couples. The press release said that RR “sonically chronicles their journey as a couple, tracing a roadmap of their relationship from the past to the present with hints at what the future holds. Their voices complement one another as they lock into a creative chemistry only partners could share. At the same time, their respective styles fuse into a fresh and fiery vision unlike anything else either of these trailblazers have crafted thus far.”

Bizarrap And Rauw Alejandro Lean Into Desire On ‘Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 56’ And Leave Fans Wanting More

Bizarrap and Rauw Alejandro are each elite at choosing collaborators.

Bizarrap and Shakira debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 with their “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” at the top of this year (and at the expense of Gerard Piqué). Alejandro released his RR joint project with his fiancée, Rosalía, in the spring to rousing reactions.

It was only a matter of time until Bizarrap and Alejandro chose each other, and they dropped “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 56” on Wednesday, June 21.

“God has never failed me, he has listened to my prayers,” Bizarrap posted to his Instagram Story, translated from Spanish to English. “What a joy it gives me to finally release music together brother.”

The accompanying video generated over 6.8 million views in its first 15 hours. In it, Alejandro is beamed into a blue-lit studio in astronaut attire. With Bizarrap handling the keys, Alejandro steps to the mic. His charisma matches the pulsating, synth-laced beat as he sings about no-strings desire. The video ends with a black-and-white text tease of “RAUW ALEJANDRO X BIZARRAP ‘BABY HELLO’” followed the date of June 23, insinuating that another collaborative single is dropping this Friday.
