Drake Reference Track From Lil Yachty Surfaces, DJ Akademiks Thinks Metro Boomin Leaked It

The Metro Boomin and Drake beef, which obviously has a lot of other moving parts, got an interesting development to kick this week off. Moreover, following the online spread of an alleged reference track that Lil Yachty made for Drizzy’s “Jumbotron S**t Poppin,” folks like DJ Akademiks and more claimed that Metro was the one to leak this. This is because a couple of people claimed to receive the .mp3 file via a random Atlanta number, and because the current feud narrative makes it hard to see this in any other context. But at the end of the day, there are a few reasons as to why this is not only nothing new, but downright meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

First off, it’s really impossible to know whether or not Metro Boomin was actually the person to send this leak out. If you’re basing it off of who’s in Atlanta, Drake is such a dominant and unstoppable artist that there are probably people in every city that would want to see his downfall. That’s not even to mention the other players in this beef who are outside of the A who might be going to extra lengths to cover their tracks. Still, this is all purely speculative and worthless at the end of the day, especially considering how prolific and numerous leakers have been in this Internet age.

Second, if this really was Metro Boomin and he wanted to leak this reference track from Lil Yachty to Drake to make the OVO mogul look bad… so? Who cares? The Let’s Start Here. creative is literally credited as a producer and a writer on not just this specific Her Loss (2022) cut, but multiple. Reference tracks only hurt when their clients don’t credit their creators. In fact, folks tried to accuse Kendrick Lamar of this over the weekend, and since then, there has been much more scrutiny as multiple factors seemed to debunk it.

Kendrick Lamar is probably the biggest and most important name in this beef alongside Drake, and things are still quiet on the pgLang front after “Like That”… for now. But if the St. Louis producer or anyone else was actually trying to get at the 6ix God for this, better luck next time. Not all reference tracks are created equal. Kai Cenat is easily one of the biggest content creators in the entire world. Overall, he is someone who has found himself at the top of Twitch, and he won’t be coming down anytime soon. However, when you are a big content creator like him, there are certainly going to be controversies. For instance, Cenat was hit with some tricking allegations over the weekend. A woman posted a photo online, claiming that she slept with Kai a few years ago. Furthermore, she posted a screenshot of some messages in which the Twitch streamer allegedly gave her $5000.

Cenat saw these allegations and was very quick to respond. He hopped on his stream and attempted to dismantle some of the claims. In fact, he revealed his Apple Pay history, and was able to prove that he never sent the woman $5K. While she had proof of a $5K payment, it was allegedly from someone else. Either way, there remains a bit of confusion as to what really happened. However, Kai did admit to meeting the woman. After all, she does have pictures of him in bed, which makes that side of things hard to deny.

Meanwhile, Cenat took things further by purchasing a domain with the woman’s name. He made a whole web page about her being a liar. Therefore, whenever someone googles her name, they will be directed to the page. It is incredibly petty, and not everyone is a fan of the move. That said, Cenat is just trying to entertain his audience, and it seems like his attempts are working right now.

Kesha Flips “Tik Tok” Lyric To “F*ck P Diddy” At Coachella

Kesha joined Reneé Rapp on stage at Coachella on Sunday to perform her 2010 hit song, “TiK ToK.” The chart-topping track famously features the lyric, “Wake up in the mornin’ feelin’ like P Diddy.” However, in light of the recent allegations against the Bad Boy mogul, Kesha used the opportunity to change it into a diss. She and Rapp both sang: “Wake up in the morning like, f*** P Diddy.” They threw up their middle fingers toward the sky as well.

It’s not the first time Kesha has changed the lyric, although it is the most vulgar. Back in November, following Cassie’s bombshell lawsuit against Diddy, she sang, “Wake up in the morning feeling just like me!” while performing on her Only Love Tour in Oakland. Cassie settled the lawsuit just a day later, but the drama has gotten exponentially worse for Diddy in the months since.

Kesha’s move comes after Homeland Security agents raided Diddy’s home in Los Angeles and Miami as part of a sex trafficking investigation. Diddy is also facing numerous other lawsuits which accuse him of various instances of misconduct and worse. He’s denied all of the claims against him and has yet to face any charges. His lawyer, Aaron Dyers, labeled the raids on his properties a “gross overuse of military-level force” in a statement at the time. “There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated,” he elaborated.

She hard-launched their relationship with a sweet Instagram post, however, things quickly took a turn for the worse. Almost immediately, various women took to social media to share their own alleged experiences with Cashington, which sparked concern among Walker’s fans.

One woman, who goes by @AnaSofaKingCoo on Twitter/X, accuses Cashington of posting her explicit content without consent. Another, Miss B Nasty, later alleged that he told several people they were in a relationship when they hadn’t even met. “He wants to keep every model to himself and tries to control all their social media and even tries to control their personal lives,” she wrote. “I wish more people would speak up about his harassment and ‘stalker-ish’ p*mp ways.”

The pair has yet to address the allegations, but by the looks of things, they’re unbothered. In a new clip Walker shared on her Instagram Story last night, the two of them are seen dancing in the streets of Mexico, making the most of the performer’s birthday trip. Her supporters aren’t happy about her latest romance, and are sounding off in the comments section. “Maaan all the damn stories I heard about this man, I’m just waiting for the breakup album cause ain’t no way this is gonna end well,” one critical commenter writes.

Others are coming to her defense, arguing that she’s allowed to date whoever she chooses. Diddy Allegations: UMG Wants Out Of Sexual Assault Lawsuit

In November of last year, Diddy was hit with yet another lawsuit for alleged sexual assault, this time from a woman named Liza Gardner. Gardner claims she met the Bad Boy Records founder and Aaron Hall at an event in the 90s. At the time, she says she was only 16 years old. She alleges that the duo began buying her drinks before inviting her back to Hall’s apartment. Upon arrival, she alleges that they sexually assaulted her and her friend, also pressuring them to drink more alcohol. Days later, she accuses Diddy of showing up at her house, “assaulting and choking” her.

Diddy, Hall, and Universal Music Group are listed as defendants in the suit, but now, UMG wants out. The music corporation filed a motion to dismiss in a New York court on Thursday (April 11), arguing that Gardner failed to provide sufficient evidence linking UMG to the alleged rape. According to them, the incident had “nothing to do with UMGR.”

“The Complaint’s allegations, if true, are certainly disturbing,” the motion reads, also claiming that Gardner has no “factual support connecting UMGR to the alleged assaults.” UMG additionally argues that her lawsuit should have been filed under the Child Victims Act (CVA) instead of the Adult Survivors Act (ASA), as she claims to have been 16 at the time of the incident.

“Plaintiff makes no allegation supporting vicarious liability for battery or assault (nor could she),” the motion continues. “Plaintiff’s NIED claim also fails because she has not alleged any duty owed to her by UMGR, and nowhere in Plaintiff’s Complaint does she allege that UMGR’s conduct was extreme and outrageous, as she is required to do as a matter of legal sufficiency.” What do you think of Universal Music Group asking to be dismissed from Liza Gardner’s lawsuit against Diddy? Trey Songz Settles $25M Lawsuit Over Alleged 2016 Sexual Assault

In February of last year, Trey Songz was hit with a lawsuit from an anonymous woman accusing him of sexual assault. The woman, going by Jane Joe, claimed that she attended a house party with the performer back in 2016 after meeting him at a nightclub in Los Angeles. The evening took a turn for the worse when Trey Songz invited her upstairs, where the alleged sexual assault took place. Atlantic Records, Trey Songz’s manager Kevin Lilies, and 300 Entertainment were also named as defendants in her suit.

Reportedly, they’ve now settled, though the amount has not been disclosed. Initially, the alleged victim was seeking $25 million for the mental and emotional distress of the incident. They were scheduled to appear in court for a hearing in September, which has been vacated due to the settlement. “The settlement agreement conditions dismissal of this matter on the satisfactory completion of specified terms that are not to be performed within 45 days of the date of the settlement. A request for dismissal will be filed no later than June 10, 2024,” the legal docs reportedly state.

It remains unclear whether or not Trey Songz admitted guilt as a condition of the settlement, but last year, he denied the accusations on social media. “Lies will never be the truth,” he wrote in an Instagram Story. “No matter who chooses to believe such.” Sadly, this isn’t the first woman to have accused Trey Songz of assault, however. Just last month, Winter Blanco came forward on an episode of Behind The Likes to accuse him of assaulting her in 2018. She revealed that she chose to stay silent for the sake of her career.

Miss B Nasty had an issue with his a** too smh.” Miss B Nasty later responded, claiming that despite having never met Cashington in person, he told multiple women they were together.

Polo G Arrested After Hotel Staff Allegedly Finds Gun In His Room

Polo G is no stranger to run-ins with the police, and unfortunately, his latest one landed him behind bars. Earlier this week, the Chicago MC was staying at the Dominick Hotel in downtown Manhattan when officials received a phone call from staff. One staff member reportedly found a gun in Polo G’s room while cleaning it. This led them to notify the local authorities.

“On Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at approximately 1209 hours, police responded to a 911 call for found property at 246 Spring Street. Upon arrival it was reported to officers that there is a firearm at the location. An individual was placed into custody at the location without incident,” a statement from NYC police reads.

As a result of the staff member’s alleged finding, Polo G has now been charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Criminal Possession of a Firearm. His arraignment is currently pending in Manhattan Criminal Court. Sadly, however, this isn’t the first time Polo G has found himself facing similar charges. Last August, his Southern California home was raided by the LAPD in connection to a robbery. Rifles, machine guns, pistols, a shotgun, a suppressor, a pair of switches, and more were reportedly found at the residence.

At the time, Polo G was booked on illegal possession of the short-barreled rifle his associate Trench Baby allegedly used to carry out the robbery. Following reports that Diddy‘s sexual assault accuser, Lil Rod, has yet to speak with federal agents regarding the investigation into the Bad Boy mogul, 50 Cent has admitted that the producer’s lawsuit may be “some bullsh*t.” Sharing the news on Instagram, Sunday, 50 asked: “Wait a minute this sh*t might be some bull sh*t, how they didn’t talk to him yet?”

The admission comes after 50 has been using the claims made in the lawsuit to troll both Diddy and Stevie J on numerous occasions in recent weeks. Rod accused Diddy of sexual assault but mentioned several other celebrities as being involved in various incidents as well.

Diddy’s legal team previously denied the allegations Rod made in his lawsuit in a statement. “Lil Rod is nothing more than a liar who filed a $30 million lawsuit shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday,” they said. ” His reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not happen is nothing more than a transparent attempt to garner headlines. We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies. Our attempts to share this proof with [Lil Rod]’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, have been ignored, as Mr. Blackburn refuses to return our calls. We will address these outlandish allegations in court and take all appropriate action against those who make them.”

He then went on to share a resurfaced clip from an interview with Diddy and Mike Tyson, joking that even the iconic boxer had to fend off the Bad Boy Records founder’s advances.

In the clip, Tyson and Diddy sit next to each other on a couch just before the interview cuts to a commercial break. Tyson lifts Diddy’s hand, which is resting on the couch between the two of them, and sets it on the hitmaker’s leg. He then readjusts his own position to be further away, and Diddy looks arguably upset.
