Musician sneaker collabs are all the rage these days. With Drake, Travis Scott, Rihanna, and most recently, Megan Thee Stallion signing endorsement deals with sneaker giants like Nike and Adidas, it seems like rappers and singers are the new basketball and soccer stars.
Later this year, Bad Bunny will join the fray, teaming up with Adidas for a chunky take on the brand’s Campus silhouette in a “Deep Brown” colorway. In addition to working with premium materials such as suede on the upper, the shoe features a double tongue and ankle collar and Bad Bunny’s signature branding on the footbed and tongue.
The “Deep Brown” Campus is just the latest colorway of the shoe designed by Bad Bunny; prior editions include Light Grey, Wild Moss, and Cream. He’s also worked with the brand on versions of other signature silhouettes including the Forum Low, Response CL, and Forum Powerphase.
You can also catch Bad Bunny on tour this spring when he goes out on his Most Wanted Tour.
Overall, Adidas is one of the best brands in the entire game when it comes to sneakers. Although they may not be as popular as Nike or Jordan Brand, they still have some iconic silhouettes. In fact, Adidas has had a big year in terms of its iconic offerings. For instance, we got to see the return of the Samba. This was great for sneakers, and ultimately, they showed out. Now, we are here with a gift guide for the Holidays, and everything here is Adidas
Firstly, we begin with the Adidas NMD S1 in this nice and neutral “Bliss” color scheme. Overall, this is a cool return for the NMD. Although it is much different than the original NMD, it is still a shoe that fans can get behind. There is a chunky midsole to it with a primeknit upper. It helps fit a dad shoe aesthetic while also maintaining the sleek qualities of the NMD line.
Secondly, we have an incredible collaboration between Adidas and Bape. This comes on the Adidas Forum 84 Low in “Green Camo.” If you know anything about Bape, you know that their camo is iconic. Fans can recognize it from anywhere and it works extremely well on the Forum Low. Adidas and Bape continue to showcase their chemistry with these collaborations, and we’re glad to see them continuing their partnership. If you have a loved one who loves Adidas and Bape, this might be the shoe for them.
From there, we have the Samba OG which is the shoe that has really become a standout of the entire year. With this list, we decided to highlight the white and black color scheme. Of course, this is one of the best color schemes of this shoe as it is just classic. If you want to get your favorite person something simple and fashionable, these are a great way to go.
Subsequently, we bring you another collaboration. This time with the likes of Sean Wotherspoon. Wotherspoon has been with Adidas for a few years at this point and he has delivered some colorful shoes. However, on the Adidas Orketro, he offers up a neutral scheme that works wonders. This shoe is very much like the Ozweego in the sense that it is a sleek yet chunky shoe. This is something that fits with current trends and a lot of sneakerheads would be excited to own a pair.
Lastly, we have this collaboration between Bad Bunny and Adidas. Bad Bunny is a cultural icon at this point, and his collab with Adidas was certainly something that fans were excited about. With the Response CL, the artist has knocked it out of the park. Especially when you consider this all-black colorway. It is sleek, stealthy, and most importantly, stylish. If you like crossovers, then this could be the shoe for you.

Adidas has weighed in on Kevin Durant saying he would never wear Anthony Edwards’ signature shoes. “U dusty bouta retire soon anyway,” the official Adidas account wrote in response to Durant’s tweet. The comment was quickly deleted, with the account adding “Meant to send that from the burner account” in a subsequent post.
Kevin Durant had been savage in his response to a question about whether he would wear Anthony Edwards’ signature shoes. “Won’t EVER see me put a big toe in them Mfers,” Durant wrote on X, formerly Twitter. Even more brutal was the fact that Durant was responding to a video of Edwards himself saying that Durant was the player he most wanted to see wearing his signature shoe. While most people applauded Durant’s comments, some warned that Edwards might look to take revenge against the Suns.
Despite what KD said, Edwards is in the middle of his true breakout season. Edwards is averaging 26.2/5.9/5.0 a game as the Timberwolves have taken control of the Western Conference. They lead the Western Conference and, at 14-4, share the best record in the NBA with the Celtics. Their white-hot run in spite of starting the season 1-2. Their win over the Jazz marked their third consecutive victory and was achieved even with Edwards sidelined.
Meanwhile, KD’s Suns are good, but sit at 11-7 after 18 games. They recently saw a seven-game winstreak snapped by the Raptors. The run had taken the Suns from 4-6 to 11-6. However, December gets off to a tough start for Phoenix as they must face Jokic and the Nuggets. The Nuggets are second in the conference after the Timberwolves. As for Durant himself, he is having a phenomenal season. He is putting up 31.3/6.9/5.5 a game. Furthermore, he leads the Suns in both points and assists. It’s hard to believe that he is about to turn 36. However, the beef remains a developing story and we’ll have any updates as they emerge.
Kanye West and Adidas had to break up last year due to Ye’s persistent antics. Overall, it was pretty hard for a lot of people to watch. Kanye was saying a whole bunch of anti-semitic things while also going full-on alt-right. Although Adidas knew a lot of money was at stake, they decided to do the morally correct thing and sever all ties. However, this left a lot of money on the table as the brand had about $1 billion in Yeezy merchandise sitting in a warehouse somewhere.
Over the past year or so, Adidas has been releasing some of this stuff back on the market. This has helped them recoup hundreds of millions of dollars. That said, according to the Associated Press, the brand still has about $320 Million in stock leftover. CEO Bjorn Gulden is now claiming that all of this merchandise may have to be written off. Logistically, they don’t even know if they will ever be able to sell it.
“Right now, that is financially the worst case and it is a possibility,” Gulden said. “Currently, there is no decision.” Gulden went on to say that realistically, they would love to get rid of the inventory and continue their charitable efforts. “We of course hope we can do more drops next year and we can get more value out of it and donate the proceeds,” the CEO said. “But right now, financially, we haven’t made a decision and that’s why the outlook is the way it is.”

In the buildup to the much-anticipated Kansas City Chiefs/Los Angeles Chargers game, sharp-eyed football fans may have spotted adidas athlete Patrick Mahomes proudly wearing a Texas Tech x adidas shirt. The reason behind this visible endorsement is that in 2024, adidas is set to become the official partner of Texas Tech University, welcoming Mahomes’ alma mater into its esteemed portfolio.
This exciting partnership marks adidas’ ongoing commitment to collegiate athletics and youth sports. It follows the recent signing of its first NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) football athletes, including University of Washington’s Heisman hopeful quarterback, Michael Penix Jr., and his star wide receiver, Rome Odunze, earlier this month.
With this significant collaboration, adidas is poised further to enhance its presence in the world of sports, supporting both the athletes and institutions that make the sports world so dynamic. As the 2024 partnership with Texas Tech approaches, fans can look forward to exciting developments from this new alliance.
Overtime Elite (OTE) has inked a multi-year partnership with adidas, designating the renowned sportswear brand as the league’s exclusive apparel and footwear sponsor. This groundbreaking deal comes on the heels of OTE sending 15 players to the pros within two years, including two top 5 picks in the NBA draft. A mutual commitment to an athlete-first strategy underpins the partnership, prioritizing the needs and interests of OTE players.
OTE players will have an exceptional opportunity to develop relationships with adidas, while the brand secures early access to emerging stars. In addition to providing apparel, footwear, and on-court gear, adidas will offer educational opportunities for OTE players, including product testing, visits to adidas headquarters, mentorship programs, and preparation for Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) initiatives.
“adidas is focused on the next generation athlete and consumer, and we’re thrilled to be aligned with a brand pushing boundaries in basketball,” said Jack Jenkins, VP, League Partnerships, Overtime. “adidas’ commitment to listening, learning and creating products that reflect the vision of the players is exactly in-line with the mission and values at Overtime Elite, making them the perfect partner for us as we push our league to new heights.
“Our new partnership with Overtime Elite allows us to engage with and empower elite young basketball players early in their playing career,” said Eric Wise, adidas General Manager of Global Basketball. “This is a continuation of all we do to support young athletes, and doubles down on our commitment to basketball in the U.S. Additionally, this partnership will provide us an opportunity to help athletes succeed both on and off the court, while allowing rising players to experience the best of some of our products.”
Overtime, the parent company of OTE, boasts a substantial digital presence and expertise in fan engagement. The league’s content reaches various platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, exposing adidas to an active and highly social fan base. adidas and Overtime Elite have also unveiled brand identities and uniforms for all eight teams in the league. adidas, currently sponsoring Overtime’s 7v7 league (OT7), remains open to further opportunities to expand their partnership with Overtime.
Kanye West and Adidas had a long and prosperous relationship before he essentially threw it all away. Of course, he did this back in 2022 thanks to his anti-semitic messages and ramblings on social media. Overall, a lot of people were disappointed with Ye. It makes sense that people would feel this way. After all, people rightfully thought their favorite artist would be above Nazi rhetoric. However, Ye proved people to be wrong, and he has since gone into a quasi-exile out in Italy.
Originally, Adidas had dropped Ye entirely. However, they eventually had a change of heart once they saw that they were bleeding money. Moreover, the brand had about $1 billion worth of Yeezy stock that was being stored in their warehouse. They needed a way to cut some of that stock loose without losing a ton of money. This subsequently led to a temporary contract in which Adidas began selling some of Kanye’s sneakers, for a limited time until the stock was all sold off.
Overall, this strategy has been very successful for Adidas. They have been able to make up a lot of ground, and their losses aren’t nearly as bad as before. New reporting from The New York Post shows that in Q3, Adidas made $160 million from the sale of Yeezys. This was huge for them as they are now only on track to lose $100 million as opposed to the estimated $450 million. Needless to say, the Kanye effect is still very much a real thing.
Only time will tell whether or not Adidas and Ye decide to renew their partnership permanently. If Ye is able to redeem himself and get out of his own way, then it is likely that Adidas would want the Yeezy brand back in its grasp. Let us know what you think about all of this, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sneaker world. Beyoncé’s Ivy Park journey began in 2016, first with Topshop and then with Adidas in 2018. We’ve witnessed captivating collections, from rodeo-themed campaigns featuring stars like Snoh Aalegra and Tobe Nwigwe, to campus-themed drops and the thrilling “Park Trail” collection with Ice Spice.
While the partnership is coming to an end in 2023, there’s a silver lining. Creative differences might have triggered this farewell, but it’s not the last we’ve heard of Ivy Park. Beyoncé is set to reclaim her brand, carve her unique path, and embrace creative freedom – a journey we’ll all be eager to witness.
Overall, the Adidas Samba has proven to be one of the best sneakers on the market. This shoe has been going through a massive resurgence, with many trying to get a few pairs for themselves. In fact, some could liken this to the Nike Dunk craze that we saw over the past few years. Although not everyone likes this phenomenon, there are plenty of others out there who just want to get their hands on some dope colorways. Today, we are looking at five offerings that are perfect for the Fall.
Firstly, we have a color scheme that is pretty well iconic to every single silhouette in sneaker history. A white and black model goes a long way. After all, these are two shades that pair well with anything. Sure, it may lack a little bit of imagination, but who cares? These are essential, and it is no surprise they are among the best-sellers.
Secondly, we have this gorgeous “Halo Blue” model. Overall, the predominant color here is white. In fact, you could say this about most of the color schemes on this list. However, that does not mean these are boring. We get some light blue up near the back heel and tongue. Moreover, the three stripes on the side are a lighter shade of blue, that offers up some contrast.
Next up, we have this “Crystal White” and “Clay” offering. Clay shoes are perfect for the Fall season thanks to the neutral brown tones. On these kicks, we get those contrasting beiges and browns that help present a shoe that would look good in some khakis, or even jeans. It’s not your typical white base offering, and a lot of fans will appreciate that.
“Better Scarlet” is another Adidas Samba sneaker that starts you off with a white base. However, the key to this shoe is the red three-stripe logo that appears on the side. Overall, this is a great look, and we’re sure fans are going to enjoy it. White and red always work extremely well together, and that rule most certainly applies to this shoe.
Lastly, we have included a women’s sneaker. Once again, this is a model that employs two tunes that always seem to be popular in the Fall. Those two tones are, of course, white and beige. The colors contrast very nicely here, and they come together to form a shoe that is perfect for any Fall wardrobe.

adidas and NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes have again joined forces to introduce the latest addition to the Mahomes 1 Impact FLX collection, the “Away” colorway. This release pays homage to the dedicated fans and iconic uniforms accompanying Mahomes on his away games.

There’s much more to come next year as my partnership with adidas continues to grow.”
Patrick Mahomes, the reigning NFL MVP, initially launched the Mahomes 1 Impact FLX training shoe and the Future Icons apparel collection in August 2021. His involvement extended to every design element, including creating his signature logos.
