Boosie Spoils His Daughter On Her 16th Birthday

Boosie Badazz just went all-out for his daughter’s 16th birthday, gifting her a pink Mercedes Benz and throwing her a lavish party. Moreover, the Louisiana rapper shared a lot of snaps from the special occasion on his social media. Overall, it seems like everyone present had a great time, with a concert-style party and a gaggle of well-wishers to boot. Of course, Badazz is a very supportive father despite his traditionalist views on sexuality, which he remarked on after his eldest daughter came out as a lesbian. Regardless of his own opinion and that of his family, that relationship can’t be tarnished by anything.

“I didn’t,” Boosie said of whether he knew of her orientation before she revealed it to the world. “Like, she used to be with a boy I thought she was dating. He used to come to the house. But I don’t think that was her boyfriend, now. You know, I think that was just like, a friend or something. But Ivi got a- our family is real Southern Baptist family. So, Ivi gotta respect for her family and everything for what she does. You know, so her coming out at this age, that’s the time when you supposed to know what you want.

Boosie Goes All-Out For His Daughter’s Sweet Sixteen

“Even though it’s not- it won’t be accepted as far as- ’cause I don’t want to think anyone in my family to think it’s okay” Boosie continued. “But what she does, we’re not gonna- we’re gon’ love her to death. We gon’ love her to death, but at the same time, our family, it’s never been that way. It’s never been accepted, our preacher, grandfather, grandmother preacher.”

Despite these unfortunately old-fashioned views, the 40-year-old did right by his daughter by sticking by her. With this most recent display of love to his now-16-year-old, he keeps showing that he’s all about family above all else. While his controversial views will likely continue to garner him headlines, it’s important to put things aside for your loved ones. Hopefully since then, he’s turned around on accepting them unconditionally. For more news and the latest updates on Boosie, stay posted on HNHH.

BIA Delivered A Scorching Performance Of Her New Song, ’16’ At Rolling Loud California

Hot off the release of her new single, “16,” BIA took to the Rolling Loud stage in California today (March 4) to perform it live for the first time.

Over a blazing beat, BIA recalls leaving home when she was younger, on a mission to pursue her dreams.

“Take me back to when I lost my job, I told ’em, ‘F*ck you’ / I came from a place where there’s nobody to look up to / We weren’t broke together, tell me how the f*ck I trust you? / I left mama house, b*tch, I ain’t have nowhere to run to,” she raps on the song’s chorus.

During her performance, she maintained an energy of perseverance throughout, remembering everything that she’s been through has led her here.

At the moment, BIA is hard at work on her upcoming album. In an interview with Variety last year, she noted how Epic Records has been instrumental in helping her manifest her dreams.

“They’re super hands-on with me, even down to my product managers and digital team,” she said. “You gotta really know an artist if you’re trying to market them. They know me and really allow me to be my best, most authentic self.”

Bia Spit More Than A Sweet ’16’ On Her New Rags-To-Riches Anthem Produced By AzizTheShake

Bia has come a long way since her reality TV days on Sisterhood Of Hip Hop. Although many rap music fans were introduced to the rapper from her viral song “Whole Lotta Money,” the Boston native has made it clear that she hasn’t always lived the fabulous life she bragged about her in the song (that spiked sales in Bottega Veneta heels).

On her new rags-to-riches single, “16,” produced by AzizTheShake, the musician shared just how far the rough road stretched before arriving in the lap of luxury.

The first verse opens with Bia rapping, “Waitеd my turn, now I’m havin’ that / I want that man, you can have him back / So sick of showin’ b*tches how to rap,” continuing, “Who the f*ck gon’ pay my bills, ho? / I ain’t even did my nails, ho / You gon’ make me beat your ass, at sixteen, I done had to pay my bail, ho / Dryin’ my clothes on the radiator / Movin’ in silence, can’t wake the neighbor.”

In the chorus, Bia doubles down on her come-up story, rapping, “I came from a place where there’s nobody to look up to / We weren’t broke together, tell me how the f*ck I trust you / I left mama house, b*tch, I ain’t have nowhere to run to.”

It is unclear if “16” is the lead single to any forthcoming project, but Bia did share with People that she has wrapped up her album and that “it should probably be out within maybe a spring, summer vibe.”
